Why don’t you guys spend your time building a time machine and buy them when they were available it seems like the most logical use for such a device right? I have some unofficially licensed AAAA batteries to power it for you.
I’m extremely disappointed that neither the reviews nor the meh write-up contained photos or videos of this cooler put to the manufacturers recommended test: “throw your cooler off of a 10 story cliff”
Does anyone know how long until these are shipped? I’m saying goodbye to my cat this week and (sorry, morbid) want to bury him next to his sister and that would be a cross-country road trip. At first when I saw these I was like “oh, perfect,” but I realize I would need it probably sooner rather than later.
The coolers on morningsave have wheels, different latches, and much smaller “PALM” plaques, from the looks of things. If you need a big cooler (but not too big) but have no friends, you might want to compare with that offer.
Not sure if these are old stock and do not have the “new redesign” features highlighted in the review. They look like the old design due to the “feet” under the cooler and the larger “coolers” in the brand badge.
@mike808 the ones on morningsave look like the new model, at least from what can be seen in that pic.
Thanks for the link. The most compelling thing about this style of cooler to me is how long they retain ice, and that information is not anywhere around here. (Hence my concern about not being totally sealed.)
@djslack one of the amazon reviews said that he could pull wax paper out when the lid was shut tight thus it wasn’t air tight. A couple people complained ice melted more quickly than they anticipated. Others were happy so maybe a quality control issue?
@djslack@RdiPr Thanks! Forgot about that twentyoff I thought I’d never use.
Looks like Meh has the V1 and Morningsave has the V2 models.
Picked up a 65 for $128. Basically for the price of a 45, and the new V2. Doesn’t come with the hats and bottle opener, but does come with the mat to put on top for sitting. I just hope it’s not too big. (TWSS).
@mike808 thanks for the link to a very in-depth (and overall quite favorable) review of the version 2 cooler, which is apparently the one at morningsave. I really don’t need one of the $100 coolers though, I don’t know why I read the link.
@sippinndippin I doubt you are comparing equal products between the USA-made $100 cooler and the overseas-made-with-slave-labor-and-no-environmental-considerations $40 cooler.
That $60 “savings” is for the features, functions, and indirect benefits you (and the rest of us and the planet) don’t get with your $40 cooler.
I could also save the money spent on a toilet if I took a dump on your doorstep too. That doesn’t mean it’s a good idea just because its cheaper than having a bathroom in my home.
@mike808@sippinndippin If it keeps ice the same at half the price, I’ll consider the slave labor a feature. Then I can say things like “Boy, they slaved for days making this excellent cooler!” with no hint of irony.
@mike808
Taking a dump on my doorstep will probably cost you more in gasoline/electricity. You know you could run that race across America in 10 days and then shit on my doorstep as you near the finish line. Totally worth killing yourself for imo
Then you could also save the environment as I use your body for fertilizer. No funeral costs I will use my friends backhoe and say 3 hail Mary’s I am sure Phidipidies will be proud!
The person(s) who came up with “That’s what the fox says, in my book!” deserve(s) some kind of special (a/re)ward. However, since Biggie asserted that more money leads to more problems, I can’t in good conscience say a raise or bonus would be in order.
@Willijs3 as a VMP, you can use your vmp 10% discount over on morningsave.com where they have the newer model (wheels, T-latches, thicker). You might have a twentyoff coupon available as well. If you switch items, make sure you remove the coupon code before applying it in another tab/cart.
@dashcloud Meh got the overstock from their version 1 models, and Mediocre got their current version 2 models. They added the trade show promo items to the V1 bundles to sweeten the deal and get rid of them at the same time. They sell direct, so there’s no retail or distibutor channels to use them as advertising giveaways. Hence the consumer “brand ambassador kit”.
Just like these Meh face popsockets are and would continue to be great “brand ambassadors” for meh.com, if they were to offer them again. Hint, Hint.
@dashcloud I’d be the buyer on this one. For one reason or another Palm needed to empty one of their warehouses and I bought their entire stock of Coolers and Accessories. The “Brand Ambassador” package is just my way of including a bunch of useful accessories that you might not buy for yourself for very little cost since most of the cost is in outbound shipping with the cooler itself.
These dimensions seem weird. The pictures don’t show much of a taper, but on the largest one, the exterior bottom is nearly 2 feet shorter than the top?
@Icefire109 I generally prefer a more bitter IPA, or maybe a good stout in the winter months, but my beer consumption drops greatly this time of year. I tend to consume more wine and gin when freezing my balls off.
@mike808@Steve7654 When I was researching snow blowers over the summer, I found that they were largely unavailable that time of year. I knew the one I wanted, but had to wait a few months before it was even available for purchase again.
@Limewater@Steve7654
And it’s not fair that I can’t buy Christmas presents two weeks after thanksgiving at Black Friday prices either, but that’s life.The early bird gets the worm.
Deals are, by definition, limited by quantity available and time.
@Steve7654 I’m right with ya, although it’s a balmy 14° F here. Just changed my second vehicle battery this month out in my ice rink of a driveway. I’m ready for spring.
@blaineg The largest one is definitely larger on the inside. Your statement is thusly patently false and gets 4 pinnochios.
How much larger than 90 quarts do you need? As in mother-in-law large? How many bodies are you trying to cram into your current cooler? Buy 2 and divide whatever it is you’re trying to overstuff into one cooler. These ain’t like Central Grocery muffalattas, you know.
@crow I would swear the prices on those were lower the other day, but that twentyoff still makes a good deal on these.
So far I have resisted the urge to get one, which is wise considering I have two coolers in the garage that have previously fulfilled all my cooler needs. They’re just not nearly as rugged and won’t hold ice for multiple days.
@djslack@sammydog01 I’m a scoutmaster. We go on 10-day camping trips where this cooler will be packed and not opened until day 4 or 5. I’ve been borrowing a friend’s K-2 cooler, but now will have my own
I just got an email notifying me that there was an inventory issue and my order was cancelled. I’m generally pretty laid back about this stuff, but in this instance I’m pretty annoyed. The limited use $5 coupon doesn’t really do a lot to make me happy about it, since I really just wanted the cooler.
@hanzov69@ruouttaurmind Morningsave seems to have all sizes in inventory. Use your 10% VMP discount over there? Were they just out of stock on a color you ordered? Or maybe they ran out of bottle openers?
@hanzov69@ruouttaurmind@sammydog01
Well, my 65qt Palm cooler from Morningsave just arrived. Looks mostly new-ish. A few smudges. Nit at all shrinkwrapped like the review. Just in a box that was a litttle too big for the cooler and so slid around and probably had to be retaped and who knows what fell out. The goodies were in inside, just the tie-downs and the seating mat over at MS.
The bad news is that MS is shipping the older V1 model like was pictured here on Meh and not the V2 models pictured on MS. Bummer. The new version is an improvement.
@ruouttaurmind Nope. MS says “wheeled” cooler, and the pictures all have wheels.
The one that was delivered was the V1 and doesn’t have wheels. I wrote MS customer service, so well see what the deal is. I think they sent me a blue-grey one because it clearly isn’t grey like the pics.
This isn’t what I got, but its what I ordered and wanted.
@ruouttaurmind Got the auto-reply, so it’s in motion. I’m hoping (best case) they find one (sold out) and they can cross-ship, or figure out how to swap it out. I’m here in STL, where I think @Dave is still in the area and where shirts.woot started, so I’m hopeful.
It can’t hurt to also be the .
(For 6 more minutes — Yeah, that’s what she said.)
@mike808@ruouttaurmind I also just received my 65 quart cooler from Morningsave yesterday. I ordered and received the newer model with the wheels and larger lid. It was wrapped in saran-style plastic wrap and contained the seat cushion and tie-down kit. This version is very well made and I am very happy with the construction.
I’m sorry you got the wrong version, I hope they work it out for you.
@mike808@ruouttaurmind
I ordered that same on MS and its disappeared in transit been waiting two days from MS customer Support and 1 day on Fedex to find. I really hope if it does arrive its not the old version or I will be really mad.
@Cujo1809@ruouttaurmind How come you’re getting one after mine and think it isn’t the Version 1 as well? Let us know what arrives.
That said, MS customer service is offering me to 1) keep it, 2) a return for refund (and reinstate my twentyoff), and 3) I can do #2 and rebuy the 45qt size. Not clear on if I can use the twentyoff with the rebuy. I’m leaning towards option #3.
The 65 qt size is really pretty big since the insulation has to be so thicc.
Got the 45qt. Used my regular VMP, and I got $20 knocked off. My brother-in-law will be very happy with his new hunting/fishing/camping cooler. I hope they float. That would be bonus for boating use.
Anyway, any word if I’m the only one that got the wrong version?
@mike808 Wait so your options were keep it as is even though they clearly didn’t send the right item? Or to return it and get your coupon back (are they paying for return shipping?) or lastly you can return it can buy something smaller for the same price since they originally were selling the 45qt for $129 and the 65 for $149. What price did you end up paying for the 45 after all said and done and did they pay for return shipping of the 65? The 45 at 129 with 20% off would have been 103 plus tax so if you payed more they basically just lied to you by selling you one thing then shipping you a cheaper item then increasing the price to get you to pay the same price for a smaller item. Not to mention the time and effort to return the first item.
@mike808 not to mention if you were going to keep the V1 you could have gotten it cheaper on the Meh deal and also got a hat and bottle opener. I cant even get anyone to tell me where mine is lost in transport at.
@Cujo1809 Options were basically keep it and $20 credit for the mixup, or return with a prepaid label and restoring my 20% off code (like it never happened).
I opted for the $20 credit, and separately ordered the smaller V2 45qt on MS and used my VMP 5% off with the $20 credit (~20% anyway).
I wouldn’t get the restored 20% off code until after MS received the returned 65qt, and I didnt want to risk MS running out of that one too.
So, my takeaway is that MS Customer Service made it right by me. A+
My brother in law that hunts and fishes will probably love the bigger one. It doesn’t fit in the back seat of the car anyway. He can use it as an organ transplant container, too.
Also told MS to give Meh crap about not giving customers what they want, like …
@mike808 Ok the 20 credit for keeping it is better but like I said when I bought my 65 the price was 149 for it and the list price of the 45 was $129. So now that the list price for the 45 is $149 your $20 coupon only brought the price to where it orginially was and you only got the vmp discount instead of the 20%. My guess is that had you bought the 65 from the Meh deal and then used your 20% on the 45 at MS on the first deal day you would have come out about the same or less but would have also got a hat and a bottle opener. So overall I would rate it as OK customer support but nothing great as they messed up and you cant get the item you orginally purchased and instead had to use the coupon to get another item for the orginal price which lets hope they send the V2 on that one.
@Cujo1809 The V2 coolers were only available on Morningsave. Meh never had the V2 coolers on sale. So comparing Meh prices vs Morningsave prices (and extras) isn’t exactly apples to apples.
@Cujo1809 I look at it as getting an extra 20% off coupon and able to get in on this deal twice.
I couldn’t care less about a Palm hat and bottle opener (that I didn’t get because I ordered through Morningsave specifically because I wanted the V2 wheeled cooler). My BIL won’t need wheels for his in the bed of his pickup or on his boat or at the camp.
@mike808 Your 65 is not a V2 hence why I was comparing it to the Meh deal for $129 with more stuff. Like I have said 3 times now originally morning save had the V2 for $20 cheaper for each model so 45 for $129 and 65 for $149 both V2. Glad you are happy with the resolution hopefully they can do something for me since Fedex stated mine was lost and I would need to get a refund. Bummed I can’t get the 65 V2 anymore though who knows if it was a v2 or the V1 that got lost.
@Cujo1809 I wouldn’t have ordered the V1 on Meh or MS. You might have gotten a lost V1. The box was loose on mine and I was surprised the tape didn’t break as there wasn’t anything else in the box or padding or filler. Yours might have been the same and just busted apart in shipping, and got declared “lost” when they couldn’t put it back in the torn up cardboard.
I got the V1 65qt (that I thought was a V2) for ~$130. I got the re-ordered V2 45qt for just under that, so I’m plenty happy, even though I bought 2 when I planned for just 1. I see now that the 45qt is now $169 (vs my $149 before discounts price ladt week and the launch price of $129). So it looks like they’re fiddling with dynamic pricing on MS.
@mike808 they’ve been doing that for a while… Around 2 years ago I bought a safe from MS for around $90. If I remember correctly I saw it as low as $85 and as high as $160 over the course of a few weeks.
The 45 quart v2 is back to $149 (for me anyway), and looks like it might be the only v2 they still have in stock.
@mike808 Well if you had the V2 I would consider they are issuing a refund and gave me a new coupon but wouldnt match the 129 price for the 45qt so now I am not sure I want to buy it for the same price I was suppose to get the 65qt V2.
@Cujo1809 Did you have a 20off code too? if not, I would ask for a refund and the $129 price on the 45qt (or $20 credit applied to your order at the $149 price) and re-instate the coupons you used on the 65qt you didn’t get. That’s basically what MS did for me, and it’s fair. Better than say, Amazon customer service.
@Cujo1809@sammydog01 MS can file a claim with Fedex for the full value of the item they lost.
Meh has some culpability here for using a shipping agent that failed to deliver their goods as ordered. @Cujo1809 didn’t pick FedEx, or didn’t choose to save by shipping least cost or drop shipping from someone else. Meh allowed it to happen or accepted the risk. They lost the bet everything would work out fine.
So it is on Meh to make it right by @Cujo1809. Now there may be differences between what Meh CS is authorized to do and what MorningSave CS is authorized to do, but that rolls up to El Jefe (snapster) at the end of the day.
Ultimately, it is up to @Cujo1809 if he is satisfied and if he will stay a Meh/MS/Mediocre Labs customer, or vote with his feet and take his business elsewhere and/or give voice to his experience.
I would consider an offer on my now ‘extra’ 65qt V1 (with just the mat and straps) and I’ll take his money if Meh/MS won’t. (plus shipping & handling and a small processing fee since I’m not a full-time multi-million dollar retail arbitrage business like Meh/MS are.)
@mike808 Meh used Fedex as a shipper, not Joe Bob’s Delivery Service and Stump Removal. Meh owes @Cujo1809 a refund and nothing more. It’s fine to be pissed off, just pick the correct targets.
@Cujo1809@sammydog01 I think they owe him a little more than a “this never happened” refund.
I think he deserves something for the failure on Morningsave’s part to deliver the contracted goods, regardless of the shipper chosen by and acting as an agent at the direction of MS.
It isn’t unreasonable to expect a refund and reinstatement of any coupons, and to re-offer (or credit/discount) an alternative item at the price it was offered at the time of the original purchase. That was all he was asking for, since MS raised the price after the original purchase and before he had any opportunity to be made whole in the alternative.
@mike808@sammydog01 Had the V1 been delivered I would have returned it and fought to get the 45 at the lower price. Since fedex lost it I dont have much ground to stand on as all fedex will do is refund the amount of the item. Now granted Fedex will probably give MS more then I paid for it and is where they could take the money to give me the 45qt for less. I got a new 20% coupon and maybe I will be lucky and one day Fedex will find the cooler and finally deliver it. My guess is that the USPS is who lost it since they are the ones who were doing the final delivery but then again fedex never shows it even making it that far. Hell maybe Fedex forgot to scan that they delivered so someone got a free cooler. I am not happy with the customer service as I feel Amazon would have done better since 20 bucks is not worth having someone unhappy especially when there is a good chance they shipped me the wrong cooler too as I have only heard of one person getting the 65qt V2 and it was a different color.
They at least gave me a refund quick but the whole shipping the wrong item to people scares me from buying from them in the future. It would be nice if they actually had a phone line instead of just email.
@Cujo1809@sammydog01 I think MS & Meh got their stock crossed up in the warehouse with Meh selling V1 and MS selling V2. Sorry you ended up with only a coupon. Although, these coolers are at a pretty good price already, so maybe $20 less than the best deal ever ain’t too bad a consolation prize. They’re still cheaper than a Yeti or an RTIC, and arguably nearly equivalent performance.
That’s why I went in for the 45qt anyway. I’m open to a break even offer on my now open-box 65 V1. Pretty sure from the lack of packing, it was open-box/refurb to start with, and pulled from the Meh stock by mistake.
@Cujo1809 Got the 45qt in today and it is a V2!
Wheels! T-handles! Yay. It’s a liitle smaller than the 65, so it will be easier to wrangle in the back seat.
Morningsave customer service did right by me.
/unblame @eonfifty
Does your V2 45Qt seal not connect all the way around in the lid?
On mine, the two ends of the gasket dont touch and there is like a 3/4 inch gap between them.
Mine has a similar gap. This gap is supposed to be there.
This is how evaporating dry ice can safely escape the container.
It is not designed to be an airtight pressure-sealed cooler. That would be a dry-ice fail.

@norman8 Four of her five sisters are totally in on this brand, though.
Is this a fancy brand I should have heard of? At least Yeti is in country songs.
@sammydog01
Are there any country sings that mention “fake yetis”?
We can only hope.
/giphy “fake yetis”
So a stupidly overpriced cooler being offered at just overpriced?
Yeah, no thanks.
Not seeing a Pilot connection…
I must be out of the loop on this brand.
@earmstrong palm…
@earmstrong So is this what Palm pivoted into after they destroyed their PDA and phone business?
I’ll stick with buying Yetis at half off.
Meh had a Yeti cooler for sale sometime ago. What is with these very expense coolers. Would they look good in my Yugo?
Does “dry ice compatible” mean “not totally sealed”?
@djslack Boom
@djslack
@djslack Could have a pressure release valve
@Cujo1809 It could, but it doesn’t have one according to the review linked below.
@Cujo1809 @djslack It has a hole in the bottom. Maybe that’s why?
Boy, those MorningSave tumbler prices make the People for Bikes tumbler prices look pretty good.
/giphy I see what you did there
@stinks Wait, you’re selling ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSHES at MorningSave??!?!!1!
/giphy I did not see that coming
They misspelled yeti on the side of those coolers.
This is especially terrible.
I’m sorry, I’m not cool enough to go to parties so I have no practical use for these
@deathbynoodlez @reclaimercube
You know what would be cooler than these?
DAY 108: Meh face Pop Sockets

@mike808 @sippinndippin I need more True Detective season 3. I can’t go back in time.
@mike808 You know that Meh won’t, or possibly can’t, sell anything until the fad is dead and gone, right?
I’m extremely disappointed that neither the reviews nor the meh write-up contained photos or videos of this cooler put to the manufacturers recommended test: “throw your cooler off of a 10 story cliff”
@dalekjoe I’m even more disappointed that I can’t find such a video anywhere. I suspect they have no faith in their product.
False advertising. These look much bigger than my palms.
@spitfire6006006 and less hairy, I imagine.
At first I thought this was a joke, then I realized you were serious…

The “new” or V2 design has wheels. The “old” or V1 design doesn’t. Also no T-handles.
That tells me that these are old V1 stock they’re unloading through Meh. Nothing wrong with that.

Do they come with the model shown in the pics?
So you are buying a $100 cooler. Seems like an overpriced item. Maybe for like $40
@sippinndippin I doubt you are comparing equal products between the USA-made $100 cooler and the overseas-made-with-slave-labor-and-no-environmental-considerations $40 cooler.

Would be interested in hearing from the buyer on how this ended up with Meh- especially the Brand Ambassador part.
@dashcloud That consumer show @Mandirose went to? I looked these up- it’s a small company from Chicago.
@dashcloud @sammydog01 Not I said the fly

@thechilipepper0 Maybe that big lip around the top for tie downs?
@thechilipepper0 Its overhang, and it looks like there is about 5" on each side for the “handle”. Nothing a sawzall can’t fix if it bothers you.
Given that the big one weighs 50 lbs empty, the beefy handles are probably needed.
@thechilipepper0 Don’t believe the pix. The dimensions are likely L x W x H. See the table near the top of this forum.
Who’s palm? Is this a brand I’m supposed to be aware of?
How many people saw ‘Face ____’ and thought we finally got Meh face pop sockets?
@PooltoyWolf All of them.
Instabuy -q max.
I have the RTIC 65qt and it works awesome in Lake Powell’s 100 degree weather. In for two 45qt hoping they are decent.
Really?
@jewelshound Nope this is just a joke.
@jewelshound I know, prices so low it’s hard to believe!
@moofi So I should buy one of each size?
@sammydog01 Why not! That way, you will have the perfect size for any occasion!
@moofi @sammydog01 Get some extras for gifts!
What’s your preferred beer style these cold winter months?
I don’t drink alcohol at all.
@Icefire109 I generally prefer a more bitter IPA, or maybe a good stout in the winter months, but my beer consumption drops greatly this time of year. I tend to consume more wine and gin when freezing my balls off.
It’s 4 degrees F outside right now, and my driveway has 3 inches of ice on it. A cooler is about the last thing I would want to buy this time of year.
@Steve7654 And why they’re full price in the spring/summer. Just like snow shovels, snow blowers and heaters on sale in July. Marketing 101.
@mike808 @Steve7654 When I was researching snow blowers over the summer, I found that they were largely unavailable that time of year. I knew the one I wanted, but had to wait a few months before it was even available for purchase again.
@Limewater @Steve7654
@mike808 @Steve7654 I don’t know anything about “fair.” I’m just saying that it’s surprisingly difficult to buy a snowblower in the summer.
I’m disappointed that none of these are larger on the inside.
@blaineg @mike808 I’m pretty sure he was hoping they were blue and could time/space travel.
@blaineg @dalekjoe @mike808 bow ties are cool
@dalekjoe Yep! Nice username.
@candiedisilvio1 @dalekjoe @mike808 Fezes are cool too.
Brand Ambassador…
Let me stamp your passport so you can go to idiotville…
I got the newer model 65qt at Morningsave. With the TWENTYOFF coupon, it was $132
smiley-glamorous-pocket
@crow I would swear the prices on those were lower the other day, but that twentyoff still makes a good deal on these.
So far I have resisted the urge to get one, which is wise considering I have two coolers in the garage that have previously fulfilled all my cooler needs. They’re just not nearly as rugged and won’t hold ice for multiple days.
@djslack Do you go places where you need ice for multiple days?
@sammydog01 only on camping trips, which I’m on track for about every other year. So no, not often.
By all logic, I have no need for one of those premium coolers. But that doesn’t stop me from thinking they’re cooler than mine, no pun intended.
I believe I can resist this urge.
@djslack @sammydog01 might want to look into the Lifetime brand coolers. 55qt for $99.
/youtube lifetime cooler vs orca
@djslack @RiotDemon The handles on the Orca are little orca tails! Adorable!
@djslack @sammydog01 people complain that the orca ones fall down and get in the way.
@djslack @sammydog01 I’m a scoutmaster.
/giphy fuck this
@hanzov69 No worries. Get thee to Walmart and get yourself one of those Lifetime coolers. $97 for the 55qt. model.
Or better still, eBay for $77 with free ship and no sales tax.
@hanzov69 @ruouttaurmind Morningsave seems to have all sizes in inventory. Use your 10% VMP discount over there? Were they just out of stock on a color you ordered? Or maybe they ran out of bottle openers?
@ruouttaurmind @sammydog01 not the 65qt which what I ordered / was after, sadly. Life goes on.
@ruouttaurmind eBay one is up to $126 now. Ouch.
@hanzov69 @ruouttaurmind Shit.
@hanzov69 @ruouttaurmind @sammydog01
I’ll wait a day to blame the new goat, though.
@mike808 Did the one you received have wheels like those pictured at MS?
@ruouttaurmind Nope. MS says “wheeled” cooler, and the pictures all have wheels.
The one that was delivered was the V1 and doesn’t have wheels. I wrote MS customer service, so well see what the deal is. I think they sent me a blue-grey one because it clearly isn’t grey like the pics.
This isn’t what I got, but its what I ordered and wanted.
@mike808 Hopefully CS will handle it appropriately and to your complete satisfaction.
@mike808 @ruouttaurmind I also just received my 65 quart cooler from Morningsave yesterday. I ordered and received the newer model with the wheels and larger lid. It was wrapped in saran-style plastic wrap and contained the seat cushion and tie-down kit. This version is very well made and I am very happy with the construction.
I’m sorry you got the wrong version, I hope they work it out for you.
@crow Glad to hear you got the right model. What color? I ordered grey.
@mike808 I got the tan color. It will get hard use on scouting trips, so hopefully tan will age well
@mike808 @ruouttaurmind
I ordered that same on MS and its disappeared in transit been waiting two days from MS customer Support and 1 day on Fedex to find. I really hope if it does arrive its not the old version or I will be really mad.
@Cujo1809 @ruouttaurmind How come you’re getting one after mine and think it isn’t the Version 1 as well? Let us know what arrives.
That said, MS customer service is offering me to 1) keep it, 2) a return for refund (and reinstate my twentyoff), and 3) I can do #2 and rebuy the 45qt size. Not clear on if I can use the twentyoff with the rebuy. I’m leaning towards option #3.
The 65 qt size is really pretty big since the insulation has to be so thicc.
@Cujo1809 @ruouttaurmind
Got the 45qt. Used my regular VMP, and I got $20 knocked off. My brother-in-law will be very happy with his new hunting/fishing/camping cooler. I hope they float. That would be bonus for boating use.
Anyway, any word if I’m the only one that got the wrong version?
/giphy quilted wealthy popcorn
Also told MS to give Meh crap about not giving customers what they want, like …
Meh Face Pop Sockets
@deathbynoodlez @f001 @reclaimercube
@Cujo1809 @deathbynoodlez @f001 @mike808 MIKE THE GREAT
@mike808 Ok the 20 credit for keeping it is better but like I said when I bought my 65 the price was 149 for it and the list price of the 45 was $129.
@Cujo1809 I have an extra 65qt. I could sell you mine for …
@mike808 Well if you had the V2 I would consider they are issuing a refund and gave me a new coupon but wouldnt match the 129 price for the 45qt so now I am not sure I want to buy it for the same price I was suppose to get the 65qt V2.
@mike808 Meh screwed up your order and gave you a deal. Fedex lost @Cujo1809’s package. Kind of a different situation.
@Cujo1809 @sammydog01 MS can file a claim with Fedex for the full value of the item they lost.
@Cujo1809 @sammydog01 I think they owe him a little more than a “this never happened” refund.
@mike808 @sammydog01 Had the V1 been delivered I would have returned it and fought to get the 45 at the lower price.
@Cujo1809 @sammydog01 I think MS & Meh got their stock crossed up in the warehouse with Meh selling V1 and MS selling V2.
Sorry you didn’t get your cooler, @cujo1809.
@Cujo1809 Got the 45qt in today and it is a V2!
Wheels! T-handles! Yay. It’s a liitle smaller than the 65, so it will be easier to wrangle in the back seat.
Morningsave customer service did right by me.
/unblame @eonfifty
So, Meh. About those Meh Face Popsockets, …
@Cujo1809 Monoprice has similar coolers up. 50L is $149, same as MS for the Palm.
https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15638
@Cujo1809
Someone whispered, asking:
Mine has a similar gap.
This gap is supposed to be there.
This is how evaporating dry ice can safely escape the container.
It is not designed to be an airtight pressure-sealed cooler. That would be a dry-ice fail.
