@railek Funny that they had the lady (with the real ones) on a daily TV show last week. I’m sorry I don’t know her name. Anyway they talked about this famous Seinfeld scene. And she said people still ask her about it, but now about 25 years later, she jokes “they’re real and… they’re real”
So disappointed in Meh recently. Maybe I’m not the demographic for it. I thought I was. It used to have things I’d like to want or want to tell others about. Now it’s some weird smelling old department store at the mall that’s going out of business that your parents used to go to 40 years ago to buy crappy make up, chintzy jewelry washing machines blenders and clothes for you you didn’t want to wear. How about a Meh for various pronouns I personally don’t want to buy or wear earrings but lots of other ladies and gentlemen may want to. I just find I’m coming here less often bc of this and when I do 4 out of 5 times I’m instantly disappointed for wasting my time and I feel let down. What’s going on? Maybe it’s a false impression it used to be cool maybe it’s time to
Move on no problem. I’m just curious what other fans or former fans of Meh or Woot are thinking.
@ignoramus Sometimes I feel the same way and then they have something decent. The idea of Meh for pronouns is a good one
Something to look forward to - when Apple drops lightning for USB-C on their phones we should start getting speaker docks again
@oldmantick maybe if they did away with the daily “teaser” emails and simply showed in the email what the item of the day was I wouldn’t feel so lead on and let down.
Teaser campaigns are cute once in a while especially when the pay off is so great. But a daily tease via email only to be disappointed when clicking is really adding insult to injury. I feel like an abused Pavlovian dog.
If they are unwilling to do away with the cutesy email teasers then 1) Improve the pay off to make it worth our while or 2) if I could just see the item in the email and be able to auto-click the Buy or Meh button from the email it would save me the time and agita caused by the current state of affairs.
@ignoramus@oldmantick Somehow the daily mails must be an optional thing because I don’t get them! But I usually check out of habit in early AM (gotta click my icon button for no apparent reason). So I get enough routine emails anyway I agree I don’t need this one. But there must be some way to “opt out” for those of you getting it that don’t want the email.
P.S. I still enjoy the site partly just for the witty banter and occasional arguments on these forums! And once you see Libratone speakers for the 11th time, it kind-of becomes an fun thing after all. BTW bought several of the speakers and they are pretty good! So there! Also I’m paying the $5 monthly for free shipping, but mostly because that applies to the Wine site, where I spend the most money anyway.
@cbilyak@mfmansour Well as the stuff you buy here isn’t returnable a receipt won’t matter for that reason. If it is damaged though the receipt is in your orders in your account.
I got these years ago for myself and have enjoyed them enough. They’re nice enough and not expensive so I’m not particularly afraid of ruining them by accident when I’m wearing them.
That being said if my husband got these for me as a gift we’d have a problem

Pearl necklace for Valentine’s Day?
@yakkoTDI LOL! Only if “it’s” not pendant!
Pearls before meh.
These again?
Ugh. Uggly.
The description deserved a photo of Teri Hatcher modeling them - even if Photoshopped.
What are you baubling on about?
These are suspiciously cheap.
The last time these were offered someone said any wife would file for divorce if they received these. Sadly, that isn’t true.
@Trinityscrew Well, just show her this comment - that might do it.
Appreciate the Seinfeld reference!
@railek also I have purchased several of the pacific pearls items over the years. While this one isn’t my favorite, the quality has always been great.

@pmarin Teri Hatcher
@railek Yes, that was the name. BTW they still looked fine to me.

@pmarin daily emails are a choice you can pick if you go look at your account.
I bought these last time as well, and we both like them at the price.
I bought them last time and they’re simple, elegant, classic, and beautiful.
Does Meh orders arrive with a receipt? I want to send this to someone as a gift.
@mfmansour no receipts…or I should add a disclaimer, none of my 100+ orders have. Yours will since I said that though.
