@snapster A little known tidbit. There is an "all one take" fetish amongst music video directors. That one, however, was particularly well done. Also I really love that Pharrell song. I mean c'mon, how can you not?
Now I'm just wondering if he will continue the trend with another parody video tomorrow, or if he'll switch it up with one of the others. If it's not Inactive, my money's on Sports Song which I hear is supposed to be a pretty cool video as well.
It's no Like a Surgeon...
Fair question: Up to what age can "Weird" Al release these without being considered "old"?
"weird" trumps "old" until 71 years old. Then you become "Phil Spector"
about ten years ago?
@snapster So when does "Weird" Al kill someone?
You're assuming he hasn't already.
Once Al changed his look to the long curly hair years ago he hasn't looked any different.
@jont you mean this Al, right?
Who cares. Look at Betty White. Nobody is telling her to disappear.
Who found the Sideshow Mel picture!?
wow, cameo after cameo. that's awesome.
Just saw the first video... Was that one long tracking shot? That's right up there with Goodfellas...
...and True Detective...
@BillLehecka, I can't stop watching because of the cinematography now.
True Detective was so ridiculously good; I can't wait for next season.
Might be the best Weird Al video since Fat.
can't leave out Mulder...
I found it a bit difficult to understand all of the lyrics but at the same time I didn't really mind. Yolo license plate...classic.
Pretty good video. Even had a few A and B list actors in there.
Long live Weird Al !!!!!
'Mandatory Fun' was released today (7/15) and it's already creeping up in Google Music as my top listened to album. His stuff always has me laughing
wow that first video is confirmed all one take (+ Weird Al AMA on reddit going on here):
Hooray for the return of Al! I'm glad he came out with another album, I was beginning to consider going to 30 Odd Foot of Grunts for some laughs.
second video "Word Crimes" [blurred lines]: http://www.vevo.com/watch/USRV81400343?syndicationid=bb8a16ab-1279-4f17-969b-1dba5eb60eda&shortlink=yRwiKB&country=US
So good. I will be using this one often in my replies to illiterate coworkers.
They are getting better each day. I can't wait for tomorrow.
"I could care less"...."That means you do care"

Video #3: "Foil" [Royals]
These are all turning out better than I expected.
I also love that he's managed to get a ton of great cameos in these.
agree. this seems like next level Weird Al. Great release method - I hope it pays off for him!
it appears to have paid off for him. Releasing new videos every day. HAHAHA WHAT A JOKE
Dare I say Weird Al is attractive in this video?
It was only a matter of time.
"Handy" (Fancy)

The part where his eyes got big.

Sorry, no way to embed.
Three more since last post- I find 'First World Problems' especially appropriate. www.weirdal.com
Today's video totally monetized my synergistic assets, globally.
Weird Al wins internet:

Tom Lennon won the internet, beating Wierd Al, and got slapped with Kimchi.
I love kimchi, especially on french fries:
