@yakkoTDI … assuming those 12 things are fairly evenly dispersed across those 12 months. If those things come in spurts of 3-4 within a month, perhaps not.
Do these sound that much better than your device’s built-in speakers? Yes. Any speakers larger than your phone’s speakers will sound better, and these are larger.
Dunno about this. My iPad Pro 12.9 kicks the noize. These speakers may rival the four internal speakers, doubt they sound better.
@ruouttaurmind i agree - i have an ipad and the speakers are quite good. admittedly i don’t watch or listen to that much media on my ipad (or my phone for that matter), but i do listen to podcasts on it while i’m at my housekeeping job and it’s loud enough to hear clearly throughout a small apartment without having to carry it around with me to each room. also have watched hockey on it a few times and the occasional twitch broadcast while doing the dishes.
This is actually a kind of cool idea- I often watch videos on a tablet propped up against a box of crayons and connected to a Bluetooth speaker. Now I don’t need the crayons. Unless it sounds like crap. We’ll see.

@mellowirishgent 'not sure what you’re referring to - the JBL Mini has no such “built in cord”… nor is it “round”. I don’t recall Meh selling a JBL speaker with built in cord.
@RedOak I know it’s sorta a running joke, but I really should have bought that. In 2000, I remember hearing the JBL Creature, (first generation) in a crowded Macy’s in Pittsburgh and I was blown away at the quality and loudness. If I ever run into a bit of moola, I’d gonna buy that off of ebay. That was almost 20 years ago, and I think speakers nowadays are pretty much a suckfest, (Damn, I sound like that old woman on Titanic talking about her old emerald that people feighned interest in.)
MWKBLTHBLSTWT - Maravilhoso Widows Keelhauled a Breezily Lusophobic Threnodist and Harried the Boorish Lamentationist by Six Traiçoeiro Waypoints to the Tatuador.
I maybe should buy this, it’s my birthday today, but I don’t have any bluetooth I don’t believe.
Every other year, I never mentioned my birthday, and then was surprised when I never got anything----oh nuts! I did it again this year!
Well, i don’t think it really starts until I open my eyes this morning.
I actually would get one but it looks like you can’t have a case on your phone or tablet and we have otter boxes on everything. If you can put one on with a case on can someone tech smart let me know.
Actually went to their website and they have moved on to other products but they had a demo video on this and if you use Bluetooth you can wear it around your neck to bike or hike, which that part looks kinda silly, but at least if on a bike you don’t have to yell “On your left!” since apparently the bass and “powerful” speakers will let walkers know you’re coming - unless they are wearing this around their neck too - or headphones like a normal human being. But, alas, none had cases on in demo.
I swore i wasn’t buying anymore headphones ,speakers, ear plugs etc… ok you got me for a “RED BLAST” I think i’m up to 20 now in total to lazy to go check , Out standing deals are hard for me to pass , If i don’t like it i gift it simple shit man .Yah dig?
@ACraigL he’s never even met that woman. he’s already undressed with his hands under the (very rigid, apparently) covers and she’s about to end their first facetime. because gross. “okay bye bye now.”
@cinoclav I don’t see it, even in the larger image. Maybe it was a reflection from your monitor showing your own face in that spot? Do you look like Irk?
@darksaber99999 Thanks for that, it’s fixed now. I added a crappy coupon code for $1 to your account, it’s: THANKSFORTHAT (works on meh.com, expires at the end of the year)
Shockingly few reviews on the Web for this. It appears they got very little market penetration. And they didn’t do the usual scumbag thing of giving tons of stuff away to buy good reviews.
@KDemo@kylethephotoguy. Is this your work? Are you still around? The last photo is still my favorite part of the write-up and the first thing I look at.
So it’s a thing that’s supposed to be used while attached to your phone but it still uses Bluetooth to carry the signal? Weird. But I’m probably buying one anyway, just because it’s a different form factor than all my other Bluetooth speakers (and it’s cheap).
I got mine. Nice sound for the price. I’m using it with the aux cord, so I haven’t tested the bluetooth (which as someone else said, is kind of weird). I could see these for a bedroom movie night.
@wishlish yeah I’m using the tablet one on bluetooth. first song–I picked Orbital Halcyon On and On by RoundxSeal as my first song on it…it’s verrry niiice.
The big ones make great obnoxious headphones, although they could use a little padding on the earpieces.
In all seriousness these are good. Mine arrived with no obvious signs of prior use. It took a little fidgeting to get them to pair but they sound pretty good and the stand mechanism is neat. I’d say they are well worth the price of admission.
I have bought a speaker or two from Meh. OK I have bought an obscene number of speakers from Meh. I really like this one. I watch a lot of shows on my tablets and this thing is a pretty good stand as well as a not bad speaker. Win!
Been using this for about a week now and it’s worth the price. I have a cheap lil’ tablet that I watch Netflix on here and there at home. Its speaker sux so I’ve been using a Bem cube that I got here a while ago. But when I’m moving around (like while cleaning), I don’t like juggling stuffs and I’d walk out of the room without the speaker then wonder what happened to the sounds (I hate ear buds and headsets, which would make a whole lot more sense).
The mPulse works well form my purposes.The sound quality is meh, although way better than the tablet’s speaker. It’s not as good as the Bem cube. And it functions well as a tablet stand.
Worth $10. And it’s better than expected.
My partner is very hard of hearing, he can now hear his tablet talking about the latest and greatest fishing techniques. Joy for him, not so much for me. Great sound. Would highly recommend these sound blasters. lots of bass- big sound -small package
Got the tablet sized set of these speakers from Meh. I finally got around to using them tonight.
They are really for what they are. Totally great deal at the Meh price. Nicest thing is that you actually get a pronounced stereo effect using these, which you pretty much never do with built in tablet speakers.
I am using them with a Microsoft Surface 3 right now and they are great for using that for bedroom watching (hold the screen in place way better than the Surface kickstand and sound way better than the built in speaker). They jusssssttttt barely stretch far enough to manage the Surface tablet, though…

Meh!
Definitely a unique item.
I hope Meh fixes their slow server issues before the next Fuko offering.
@cengland0 and their captcha issues.
@cengland0 SERIOUSLY!!!
This is where we’ve come to with speaker docks?
Super lag again-- meh speakers
What in the…Meh
Isn’t “Mister Mwkblthblstbk” a comic book character?
Yabba Dabba Do!
@awk
Okay Meh, let me see if I can get my head wrapped around this one.
Oh… wait…
@JanaS
This is what it took 5 minutes for the site to load? Bluetooth speakers?? I thought for sure I was missing out on a Fuko!
meh, but I got one anyway. For $10 if I don’t like it, it’s one of those rotating gift thingies.
@rjquillin It is already “open box”… so yah.
“Phablet” continues to be a really dumb word.
@gyozilla At least they didn’t go with “tablhone”
@gyozilla ew. i didn’t even know that was A Thing.
This is one of those ‘gotta buy something so my $5 VMP doesn’t go to waste’
@RedOx
@RedOx As long as I buy 12 things a year the VMP is worth it.
@yakkoTDI … assuming those 12 things are fairly evenly dispersed across those 12 months. If those things come in spurts of 3-4 within a month, perhaps not.
My VMP justification purchase for May is now complete. Feel free to offer uninteresting junk the remainder of the month.

Dunno about this. My iPad Pro 12.9 kicks the noize. These speakers may rival the four internal speakers, doubt they sound better.
@ruouttaurmind Would these speakers fit the 12.9 inch iPad? I saw one once and it was huge.
@lljk Probably only in portrait orientation.
And, apologies in advance, we can’t leave the cheap jokes on the table. It’s just not sanitary…
That’s what she said?

Bring back the JBL Mini. Or its sound quality equivalent at the same price. That is all.
@RedOak The lil round JBL with the built in cord?was just ok at best in my humble opinion the white tower 808 was much better i think.
@mellowirishgent 'not sure what you’re referring to - the JBL Mini has no such “built in cord”… nor is it “round”. I don’t recall Meh selling a JBL speaker with built in cord.
@RedOak Who you calling a mini?
@RedOak I know it’s sorta a running joke, but I really should have bought that. In 2000, I remember hearing the JBL Creature, (first generation) in a crowded Macy’s in Pittsburgh and I was blown away at the quality and loudness. So you’re saying the Mini and Regular are the same $10 price each?
That doesn’t seem right since the Regular large one has 50% more power.
@RedOak But the open boxes are much nicer on the Minis.
Then you ought to buy a big one NOW before they sell out first, no?!?

@RiotDemon @sammydog01 @WTFsunshine and everyone else, thanks! Things are looking up!
@wew
@mike808 Now that is funny! Thanks
I dont know why, but the model number commentary always cracks me up. This one is especially well done, kudos to you, sir (or ma’am).
I actually would get one but it looks like you can’t have a case on your phone or tablet and we have otter boxes on everything. If you can put one on with a case on can someone tech smart let me know.
@WTFsunshine I am not tech smart, but you can still use Bluetooth if nfc doesn’t work right?
Good writeup, but the product seems kinda dumb.
Definitely a good VMP deal here! Should be worth the 3 times I use it before giving it to a friend!

Is there a volume button?
Maybe on reason it is discontinued.
@joegal777 There is a volume control on any item you plug the speakers into no?
Eye Gore
(Young Frankenstein)
Still no purple tooth???
I bought them to prop my tablet. I’ll continue using headphones
Here’s the product video. Kinda awful, but I’m SO diggin’ those sick beats.
But this frame at 2:14??? Those speakers must really set the mood.

@jerk_nugget You read my mind. I guess I’m not the only sick and twisted person on Meh. Very good.
@medz
@jerk_nugget What a load of carp!
Am I the only one who sees some weird, scary smudge face here that kind of reminds me of Irk?
(Larger image here)
@cinoclav I don’t see it, even in the larger image. Maybe it was a reflection from your monitor showing your own face in that spot? Do you look like Irk?
@cinoclav looks more like a Gremlin to me.
@RiotDemon Well at least you see something too.
@cengland0 No, not since I had my ears pinned back.
@cinoclav i see that something is there, but it doesn’t look like anything in particular to me.
@cengland0 Ahahaha

Surprising. Bluetooth speakers.
Shockingly few reviews on the Web for this. It appears they got very little market penetration. And they didn’t do the usual scumbag thing of giving tons of stuff away to buy good reviews.
@KwadGuy The one amazon review for the $69 Blast says"Worth twice as much money." Really? Ahh, I’m in!
Wow, 970 sold and all six options are available. They must have an entire corner of the warehouse full of these. Cool!
@sammydog01 well, ummm, I went a little bit overboard. I hope that lithium battery still holds a charge come Christmas.
@sammydog01 Who opened all those boxes?
mPULSE Blast and Blast Mini Bluetooth Stereo Speakers (Open Box)
I will assume it has been very hot in Texas.
Good write-up, but (unlike Darth Vader) Lobot was actually more man than machine.
Last image truly well done.
@KDemo @kylethephotoguy. Is this your work? Are you still around? The last photo is still my favorite part of the write-up and the first thing I look at.
@sammydog01 doesn’t look like it
@djslack No flask.
@KDemo There’s at least six fingers on that guy.
@ACraigL Proof! that that picture has been Photoshopped!
@Flipit not necessarily! Ever heard of extra digital mutants?
So it’s a thing that’s supposed to be used while attached to your phone but it still uses Bluetooth to carry the signal? Weird. But I’m probably buying one anyway, just because it’s a different form factor than all my other Bluetooth speakers (and it’s cheap).

@Yoda_Daenerys Sorry, this deal contains 6 unique items and I’m not sure which one you want. Try ordering from the checkout page.

@wew movie night that takes place in a bedroom.
Sounds better than expected, bought two wish I had ordered three. Using it via Bluetooth with my iPhone.
@jmbunkin Morningsave has them.

@Scott586 See if this helps. It’s for the tablet model but they may be the same.
Thanks Sammy! Unfortunately it’s not working so I assumed there must a “trick”. Guess not. I do appreciate the effort though!
