Mehrathon

I'm quite blue from holding my breath. Any chance this is in our future?

Ooh, a leftover sale! Count me in.
@sammydog01 That would be called the "good stuff" in a fuku... just sayin'
Oops, maybe 'Mehrathon' is taken?
@KDemo Why are they eating a bowl of Brussels sprouts from a box?
@SSteve They're special brussels sprouts.
@SSteve Are you saying they should consume their brussels sprouts from a bong?
@KDemo Sure. That's how I consume my generic honey net cheerios.
I think the boss man dedicated all available resources to the drone.horse initiative. This put all other experiments on hold. Hobbies can become obsessions. When should we have an intervention?
@medz - I had a feeling drones would take over some day, sigh
@KDemo yup. They will be the end of us all.
@medz Gets interesting at 2:20
@sammydog01 - That was Jeff Bezos, then? The guy obviously needs more octopus. Or something.
@KDemo Did you watch the ending? Those loot crate guys are a hoot.
@medz At least persuade him to have a drone.horse shirt. I can think of all kinds of designs. Then of course we need a drone.horse event at the costume cons, and drone.horse masks for Halloween. You'd buy it, you know you would. Have a drone.horse suite at all the big cons, where sanity would reign. I can see it now- the lofty ceilings of the executive suite abuzz with tiny drones, vendors selling hacked drone boards and hi-performance blades.
@KDemo or something?! Hmmmm... More, cowbell, perhaps?
@connorbush - Sounds about right. Did you hear the Sacramento Kings installed the world's smartest cowbell on their arena?
"Equipped with a solar-powered generator and purple LED lights, the cowbell will ring at tip off on gamedays, as well as produce light displays to commemorate special occasions, ranging from Opening Night to New Year’s Eve. In addition, the cowbell’s patented sound sensor technology will enable it to be triggered to ring in various tones based on crowd noise in the arena reaching certain decibel levels."

@KDemo I love purple--no joke.
@Barney I ate purple rolls on vacation recently- tasty and pretty too.
@dashcloud Did you get the recipe?
@Barney No- but I found a different recipe for taro dinner rolls, which are clearly purple in the picture: http://www.polynesia.com/taro-rolls.html
@dashcloud The picture is for bread, but the recipe is really for rolls. Right?
@dashcloud @Barney I love Taro flavored stuff, especially frozen yogurt and boba tea slushes.
@JonT I've never tried taro, but if it's purple it's gotta be good.
Hi @Barney! There's a Korean restaurant near me that serves purple rice. Have you seen that?
@KDemo No, I guess it looks like I've led a very sheltered, purple life.
@Barney Just checked, and it is for rolls, despite the mention of bread.
@dashcloud How about purple potatoes? Have you had those?
@Bingo I think so- one year I asked for people to make me fries & potatoes in different styles, and I think one of them was a purple potato. Other than that time, I haven't had purple potatoes.
I thought I read recently that the entire point of Meh was to run an online store that only has a single daily deal and nothing else. Wouldn't reproducing the Woot-off go against this and start cluttering the site up again?
Anyway, if it does happen, "mehpocalypse" gets my vote.
@lljk woot had one item a day and woot offs, I think you are confusing woot offs and that splinter into millions of departments.
I thought everyone had settled on 'ambivalanche'
@MrGlass - In that old thread, mehrathon had the most votes, ambivalanche was second. I think I like ambivalanche more, but we won't know what to expect until/unless it happens.
@KDemo and Mehltdown was the best.
@MrGlass Relevant: https://meh.com/forum/topics/ambivalanche#54b81efd368b30a002379cea
@kadagan - So @MrGlass is right. Thanks for that.
Diamehra.
A Mehriad of Deals.
Shit storm?
Wouldn't it be cool to use up one of your Meh clicks to see what the next deal is going to be?
I think the whole keep the next deal a secret has played itself out. Tell is what tomorrows deal is ... today!
@Kevin - So the clickfaces are like tokens? I like it!
@Kevin Only a good idea if the meh click happened between 12:00am and 12:01am. That way, you show up one night and it didn't have anything you wanted but you still clicked meh. You can then spend that meh click to see tomorrow's deal to see if it's worth staying up. If ALL meh clicks were redeemable, things would sell out crazy fast because everyone would know what was up next and plan accordingly.
@medz yeah that idea might not work...
Just had another thought. If Meh ever has their version of a woot off, what if you could spend your Meh tokens to speed up the pace of the sales?
Every token you spend lessens the quantity of the sale and force it to sell out. Depending on the price of the sale, you'd have to use more than one token.
There has to be a fun way to spend those meh clicks.
@Kevin How about for every 1 meh click redeemed = 1 second that @Moose is not allowed to talk during the next labstream. He just has to sit there, on camera, until time is up.
The one-year anniversary isn't far off. I'd expect it then. Or it's gotta be a fuku at least.
@darksaber99999 - ;-)
I believe this was the plan before they realized the dude who knows how to make the technology for that still works at woot.
@phatmass
@shawn I can vouch for this
Meh's servers are too stable for a fukuathon.
@dharr18 You're welcome
