@marklog Well, I don't agree, because I have thought of a more legitimate reason for goatdom: being the FedEx worker throwing my beer package around. Whoever that is, I nominate THAT PERSON. (my lack of dunnage could not have been the culprit. No siree!)

@kadagan because if goats can serve multiple terms, 2 things can happen: 1) the goat only does things to ensure he/she gets to be goat again. 2) after a while, no one can remember a time when there was a different goat, so the same person keeps getting voted in. no wait. that's congress. but i think the same things apply.

@kadagan let's be clear. the only 'official' goat rule is 'the goat must take the blame'. anything else posted on this forum is the community overanalyzing because the internet. goats take the blame. I say no repeats because I personally think it's more fun when there's a new goat.
