Look Smart Trivia: Blurry Newspaper Mastheads
14Hey, thanks for the birthday well-wishes on Friday! Before we get into the action today, here’s a big announcement. This week will be the end of this “season” of Look Smart Trivia. We’ve done over 100 of these now, and we’ve learned a few things about what works and what doesn’t. So it makes sense to take a break to retool and bring it back in a form that’s more fun for more people. We’ll talk about all this more this week.
For now, though: here’s today’s game. You see below you five smudged logos from five newspapers around the world. Be the first to name all five and you’ll nab that $5 Meh coupon. Insert signoff catchphrase here!

Thanks for the 100+, @JasonToon, even though I was out of sync with the posting times, I still enjoyed the puzzles if I could avoid the answers posted below, and it was enlightening to see how others approached the search - and y’all did let me win … once. Looking forward to the next phase!

Thanks @JasonToon and meh for the fun! That $500 in coupons pales next to the time you spend putting these together… and the time many of us spent scouring the internet for answers! I really did enjoy these, especially the un-Googleable (or at least not directly Googleable). But in stead of mourning I think I’ll dance… (trying to link to 3m21s)
