9Below is a list of some of things I'd like to buy at meh.com and which I feel are appropriate to be sold here. Maybe you Lab guys can get us something from this list:
-aging top-range PC graphics cards from 2011-2013
-Suunto watches
-drawing utensils
-some hi-tech umbrellas
-Furbys
-bird feeders
-desk lamps
Also, I welcome other users to share their thoughts what do the want to be sold at Meh besides speaker docks, knives and Millenium Falcon Lego sets.

I'm pretty sure Meh doesn't take requests and then purchase items based on what people say they want. It's more likely they find an opportunity to buy the entire inventory for a particular product at dirt-cheap prices and that is what they end up selling.
If they do end up selling one of the products on your list, it would be a coincidence.
@cengland0 I know, that they are not lurking the markets in hunt for specific items, but when they search dirt cheap leftovers of stocks they surely have some variety of things offered to them. It's not simply they are buying everything that gets almost thrown away by big retailers, they have some degree of freedom of selection, and their selection should be based on what their customers want more. So I gave my thoughts a go and started this topic.
@wishod We never buy from retailers - that stock would be spread out and too thin to supply an event. We do have some freedom of selection but it's in which manufacturers we work with. We try to work with all that we can but it's in the prioritization of targeting them that suggestions can help. I have been known to simplify our philosophy exactly along the lines of @cengland0's perceived stance but it's probably best to admit that some niche suggestions are of benefit.
@wishod specifically I would also say that your suggestions are the good type - niche "we might not have thought of that" stuff.
MEH FLAVORED UMBRELLA! YES!
@RedHot I just tasted my umbrella, and it's really Meh. So done and done.
It doesn't hurt to ask. Meh likely welcomes most constructive forms of brainstorming.
There are one or two items on that list, at which I'd take a serious look, if priced right.
Ok, apparently I'm the dumb one here...but what exactly is a hi-tech umbrella? Or was this an attempt at humor?
Sorry I'm in accounting..I have no measurable sense of humor.
@MrMark@MrMark there are mp3 player umbrellas, lightsaber umbrellas, weather forecasting umbrellas and many other stupid products no one will ever buy at msrp. which sounds just like the stuff for Meh.
@wishod Any umbrellas with speakers that allow a phone to dock?
Seeking investors for exciting startup opportunity. Elevator pitch: Netflix, for umbrellas
@MrMark maybee a Kazbrella?

@thismyusername An $84 umbrella -- and yet I'm still tempted. I'm not sure if I'm an idiot or I'm honestly just that sick of musty floormats.
@MrMark Umbrella WiFi hotspots. They roam with the clients.
@whogots I was interested, but then you said $84
Well, now I want a drone - Damn you!
Tacos
sometimes the stars align
@nadroj Hah! I swear that was unintentional!
@The_Baron That's a good one. I like Sansa's, and they can probably be goaten on the cheap.
@The_Baron we included 3 Sansa Clips in Fukubukuros a little while back. I think only one of them got posted.
@JonT Trust me - if I would have scored a Sansa, I would STILL be doing the happy dance! Love them things - bring 'em on, I'll buy.
@scfd0766 still get a lot of reactions whilst on a plane with my trusty old Sansa Clip clipped on my shirt. Some had them, some want them. Used to get wigged if i didnt have at least 50,000 of various REFURBISHED Sansas in the old warehouse a few years back...
I love Sansas.
@Jdub Agreed. Went to a business meeting out of town and was standling in line with a number of co-workers on the same flight that could not believe how small my 2GB (physical size, not GB's) my Sansa Clip was. I loved that thing, but lost it mowing the lawn.
@wishod - That's funny - I requested umbrellas months ago.
@KDemo history repeats itself over and over again
@KDemo Yes, but please, not the cheap thin sheet metal pole and stay type. Been looking for a deal on a more durable fiberglass pole model, ideally with gel handle (good grip in winds).
@RedOak - Sounds good. I like the hook-type handles, easier to carry.
@RedOak - Compromise? http://designtaxi.com/news/363975/An-Umbrella-With-A-Flexible-Handle-That-Lets-It-Rest-Anywhere/
@KDemo I get the hook advantage. But we like to stand them on the handles to dry them out. Hook handles slide all over and drying the umbrella upside down that way spreads it out too far.
@KDemo that "compromise" alternative looks pretty cool. And it addresses @MrMark's complaint above about umbrellas not being high tech. Can't innovation be considered "hi-tech"?
Yes! Birdfeeders and umbrellas. (And pirate regalia.)
I would love to see some of the stik vacuums like this http://smile.amazon.com/Dirt-Devil-Simpli-Stik-Lightweight-SD20000RED/dp/B002KCO96C/ref=sr_1_1?s=vacuums&ie=UTF8&qid=1431137372&sr=1-1&keywords=dirt+devil+vacuum.
I know they aren't expensive to begin with but always love a good deal.
Would also love gravity chairs, counter sized compost bins, and plug-in hanging lamps.
Apparently all I buy are sources of light, batteries, and super-cheap knives.
Guns and ammunition.
And discounted, single malt Scotch.
(I am hard pressed to think of any three items that go better together.)
@eyewerks we have an awesome shop up here in vt. It's a gas station with guns and ammo for sale.
@sohmageek Hey! I just drove by a gas station, here in Florida, advertising, "Gas, Guns, and Groceries." And the weird thing is, I've been passing that place for years. Was a BP station is now a Marathon.
Beer.
@Pavlov Don't you have a wife for all your beer-fetching needs?
@pepsiwine She makes me get off my ass and fetch my own. I'd like to see some hard to find microbrew one day a month.
@Pavlov I'll have to get @MrsPavlov to teach me that trick sometime. I'm still the designated beer wench for my bf.
Hey, I also saw y'alls post on the Mad Max screening a while back. I'm not far from KC, here in Brownback-istan, so if you guys ever need a wine (and pepsi) -loving companion to other events, I'm game!
@Pavlov Cider and/or hard liquor please. Beer is poison to some of us.
@pepsiwine She clamps her thighs together, tightly - and for days at a time. 100% effective in getting her way. I'll make sure to holler out for you next time we have something like the screening come up!
@joelmw Cider works too!
@Pavlov Ah! The ORIGINAL ThighMaster!
Good advice, thanks!
Bulk packing tape. Do it. Things need sealed...
@Catdad Only if it came with bulk prepaid return address labels
@Catdad Oooh, duct tape would be nice too.
Moar Foscam cameras! Got one, want moar!
Electronic drums. A decent set for a good price would have at LEAST one buyer (me).
@zacatac You missed out on the last drum kit deal? https://meh.com/deals/ion-audio-illuminated-electronic-drum-kit
@cengland0 dang, I did miss that. I don't know what i was doing Feb 4th, but now I'm pissed because whatever it was cost me sweet drums.
@zacatac It was @carl669's fault. Blame him. Doesn't matter that it was three goats ago.
@zacatac My bad. I was the goat on Feb. 4th. Sorry.
@lisaviolet I am rubber, you are glue, whatever you say bounces off of me and smacks @narfcake in the face.
@carl669 Aw, crap, I blame @narfcake for my screaming case of crs.
@lisaviolet Do I want to know why your cold rolled steel case is screaming?
@narfcake I bet not. Probably something to do with commercial realty services.
@cj0e Cranberry Raspberry Scone!
@narfcake I'd love to tell you, but I CAN'T REMEMBER SHIT! <----screaming
cheese, chocolate, gourmet food
Balance bike for the kiddo.
I'd love to buy a 4 person tent or so... Something that I could set up in the living room with my son that he may enjoy for if we sleep in the living room due to the heat of the summer. (apartment that we've lived in for a little over a year does get pretty hot and the air conditioning won't help both us and the baby... a few days last year we hid in the bedroom with the AC blasting... don't want that for the baby, going to try doing living room instead.)
So.. Something that we can use for this year then move on to camping trips in 5 or so years... :) Also maybe some toddler stuff. I have a feeling that a few of us could use it :)
My cat demands something for kitties to help atone for those doggie treats you have inflicted upon us.
solar powered radio
OBD II reader/reset
more drones
@sligett Two out of three ain't bad. I want another multi-powered radio. Solar, dynamo, NiCad/Lipo/NMH and AA. I have little Eton FRX2 and a bigger Kaito Voyager 450. What I really want is a Eton FRX5 or Kaito Voyager Pro. Also in for some more frosty Drone action.
@ruouttaurmind OK, my drone wish came true.ORDER # generic-flecked-shadow I'll wait for radios to cycle around again.
I've been looking for a new (or old) bookshelf stereo system for a while now. Working cd player, radio, aux in. Everything on the market is either crazy overpriced or crap. If I'm going to buy crap I'd like to buy crap from Meh.
A solar charger that I can use to charge meh stuff
AAA batteries that aren't leaking.
