@ThoR294 I’m thinking the same thing. I’ve been in a relationship with a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. He’s been dropped too many times and now cycles on/off on/off infinity when he hits 74%–until I plug him in.
I need a new tablet–I spend 6 hours a day on my current one.
The price on this is sweet! Let me keep reading what you all say.
@copperx I don’t hate it now. I can’t love it because I don’t own it anymore lol. The tablet was amazing. High resolution screen, front facing speakers, and a big display. I just inherited my GF’s gaming laptop so I just didn’t need the tablet anymore. There are really no good new tablets that can compete with the Nexus 10, android tablets are lacking. @wew yeah it has a big bezel but the screen makes up for it
Why would I want a tablet, when I have a smart phone,a laptop, and a kindle e reader already? Seriously, it’s just a larger version of my phone with wifi only connectivity, I don’t see a use for it.
@Jamileigh17 To be honest, I felt the same way until I bought my tablet a little over a year ago. Now, my laptop has been turned on less than 5 times in that time (specifically only to configure new router installations for friends and family) and my e-reader has had a completely dead battery for the same amount of time. My phone is now for out and about if I need internet connectivity and my tablet is used in the house for random surfing because it is easier to pull out (heh) than my laptop on each and every occasion. The only thing my e-reader is better for than the tablet as far as reading goes, is that it is easier to read outside on it, but I don’t read outside so that is a moot point. The tablet lets me read comic books and graphic novels where that was a pain on my e-reader.
@mehdaf The Fire doesn’t really run Android. It runs something similar but you will have difficulty running basic things like the Google Play store or the Chrome browser. Even if you were to get that installed somehow, there are so many complaints about apps on the Amazon store not working on the Fire tablets but they work fine on regular Android devices.
@cengland0 I agree the 2015 7" Fire’s 1024 x 600 display is no “retina” display, but it’s good enough for watching movies on a plane or entertaining kids. The prime underground software collection is pretty nice also, lots of free apps with a prime account. It even plays 3D first person racing games without any issues. I haven’t found anything from the Amazon store that doesn’t work on it yet, but I haven’t tried to sideload anything or root it.
@Land729 When it first launched I got a group together to buy the “6 pack” for $250. A month later they emailed me a coupon code for yet another unit for $25!! I couldn’t say no.
@RedOak I agree an inch can make a difference, however me and my significant other are perfectly satisfied with 7"
@mehdaf Your prime underground software collection may show you apps that are compatible with your device only. So you may be unaware of other apps out there that you should be able to run but cannot.
Remember before underground when they offered a free app every day? I used that for a couple years and “bought” almost every free app. The funny part for me was reading the comments. There were so many Fire users angry because that free app did not work with their Fire tablet. I think it was for that reason they discontinued the free app of the day and went with the underground option.
Fire OS is based on Android 4.2.2 and then forked. it is now a different OS and has a little compatibility with Android but not 100%. They left out some critical APIs that allow some of the apps to work. You will have to side load many of the standard apps and that requires some technical know-how. Standard apps like Gmail, Google Play Store, Chrome, Firefox, and Youtube are difficult to get on the Fire.
I believe there is a war going on between Amazon and Google for domination. You can easily install the Amazon app store on any Android device but it takes an act of congress to get the Google play store installed on the Fire. I think it has to do with economics where Amazon wants you to pay them for applications instead of Google so they lock it down tighter than fort knox.
@cengland0 I totally get your point, and once upon a time I demanded my hardware be completely unlocked. For what the Fire tablet is, I haven’t really encountered anything not working, their browser opens everything I’ve tried to use it for including youtube etc. I have even been able to load a VLC type player and play ripped movies off an SD card (It probably would have been a deal breaker if it didn’t have a card slot). It’s no surprise to me that a $50 tablet, (or even $33 or $25) is sold with the intent of making money on app sales. I would never recommend a Fire tablet as a substitute for a 10" Android or iPad for sure, but it has it’s place, particularly with kids. What’s funny to me about Amazon reviews is that when I browse the Fire TV (box or stick) app’s there are lots of people complaining about Plex and other apps not working right, but they are using some other device. I can only assume that Amazon can’t or chooses not to separate app reviews based on the device.
@cengland0 "…difficulty running basic things like the Google Play store…"
I found a tutorial on youtube, it was easy. Now I have Google Play and Chrome browser…but I would rather have a real Android tablet.
Yeah, I paid a lot more (a BUTTLOAD more, in fact), for my iPad, but this thing is rock solid, and iOS apps really are better than android ones. (Sorry, absolutely not intending to start a fanboy war.) My iPad is well worth what I paid for it.
My ancient Nexus tablet is slowly turning to molasses and my iPad has a big crack on the screen, so kinda want… but gonna pass because I hardly use either of them at this point.
This is an OK tablet, I’ve used one at work. (ETA I didn’t know the specs, saw the comments about 1GB RAM here, I didn’t have any issues but wasn’t doing any heavy lifting). There are some Marshmallow roms floating around for this tablet as well, but I don’t think LG is officially supporting it past Lollipop.
LG + four characters allows for at least 36^4 (i.e. 36x36x36x36) or 1,679,616 products. (This presumes A-Z, ignoring case, and 0-9 for each character.) If we allow for dashes it is 36x37^3 (i.e. 36x37x37x37) or 1,823,508 (I’m presuming a trailing dash wouldn’t be used).
I’d say that is likely enough even for a big-ass company like LG, though I have been drinking so my judgement is likely impaired.
Hey, its a tablet for the bathroom!!! (I mean, no books or magazines there anymore.) Don’t have to worry about getting dingleberries on my standard tablet! In for one…
Interesting. Was looking for a cheap tablet about 3 weeks ago and picked up a Samsung Tab A 8" with very similar specs except it has 1.5 GB RAM. And we paid what we thought was a decent price - $139 afte instant $40 rebate.
Now past the crappy SAMs 14 return period or this deal would look tempting.
@thismyusername hah! - the guy who told me 14 days was the cellular guy and the tablets are right next to the phones! . Thanks for the info! … more cogitation time for buyer’s remorse!
@RedOak if they give you crap just escalate, they are reverting back to their friendlier version of themselves as costco moves in most of their previously monopoly markets
@thismyusername yep. I already know the SAMs manager well due to having some service issues - specifically when compared to the Costco a couple blocks away.
@communist@adamselby I use Square all the time and you cannot use it on tablets unless you get a reader specifically for tablets like the bluetooth version.
Yes, the tablets do have a headphone jack but what you really need is a microphone jack. The connector on the Square is the 4 conductor type so it uses the microphone jack from a phone that is not on a tablet.
When you swipe a credit card, it sends data down the microphone wires. I don’t know of too many tablets that have a 4 conductor headphone jack that supports a microphone because they do not place phone calls so that microphone is not needed.
@Lazarpandar that would be why there might be a brewing battle between Samsung and Google. Samsung keeps taking Android in a custom direction not to Google’s generic/universal liking.
I just thought I’d weigh in to help balance this out. I have an LGV410 (the “freebie” from USCC a couple of years ago), and it’s a damn decent tablet. It’s nearly the same as this one, just 1" smaller and has 4G. The processor, memory, and GPU are the same. Mine is rooted and running CM13 smooth as butter. A cursory search suggests the 480 is just as easily rooted. I’m not sure what all these complaints about “only” 1GB of RAM are. What the hell are you people doing with 8" Android tablets that requires 2GB? To anyone on the fence based solely on that point: unless you know you need 2GB for something specific, you can probably get by fine with 1GB.
And yeah, I like my iPad Air way better than my LG, but not everyone will want to throw $250 at an iPad (even used ones are close to $200; mine was $180). There’s not much comparison.
@rschauer iPads are beautiful devices. 1GB is enough for an iOS device because of the efficiency of the OS and the tight integration with the hardware. Android devices don’t have that in their corner, and often require more RAM to run effectively.
So you guys are a few months to late for me… my old nexus 7 (original) was getting unbearably slow as my water closet browser… I kept looking for a deal and looking for a deal on a tablet… finally ended up with the toshiba 8inch Encore 2 64GB 2GBRAM on sale at woot!
Pretty decent tablet for $100… runs full windows (even 10).
The only real problem (and it’s universal with these little windows tablets) is that you need to power it off to save battery (wintel tabs are hungry sleepers compared to android and ios it seems) but it boots fast enough to not matter.
Irk, you’re irking me. Windows tablets are awesome. Lenovo Yoga 2 Windows tablet running Windows 10 has been fabulous for me for nearly 2 years. So, please dis Windows along with Crapple.
These are close a cousin of the LTE-capable G Pad 7.0 (V410) I use as a car navigation tablet. Battery life is incredible (3-4 days with a couple of hours of use daily) but the 1GB RAM makes multitasking suck.
I got one of these free from my cell carrier when i got an LG phone back in 2014, although that model had a CDMA sim slot. For free it was a nice price as a spare… thingy to have around. It’s a solid-but-boring tablet that behaves a lot like a big dumb phone with LG’s mild android reskin. I don’t think I’d want it as my primary tablet but for all that, one could probably do worse. Good job in finding a very “meh” product, Meh!
As a copper merchant I depend on tablets for all of my important correspondence. Clay tablets are heavy and that is just one reason why I love this LG G Pad 8" Android Tablet!!! With it’s 16GB of storage I am amazed that it can store thousands of clay tablets worth of cuneiform using tiny magical bits of power and with almost no weight!
In for 4 from the sellers who live beyond the flight of birds, and of course I got VMP it makes moving things easier than floating them down the Euphrates.
@adamselby If you bought an MS Surface a while back they were labeled incorrectly and shipped a lesser model. To make up for it, meh offered a coupon code to those who bought it.
Just like headphones, meh is getting closer to what I am looking for in another computer. In this case, I’d like to get something with Windows, USB ports, and an HDMI port.
Until then, I gotta click meh.Otherwise, this LG sounds good.
@Tadlem43 Define “large screen”… there’s a great deal on a 15.6" HP that I would highly recommend at BB (I don’t know if we’re allowed to post links to other sites, so just look for SKU 5252100 there)… it’s $280, 6GB RAM, touchscreen, A10 CPU, 1TB HD, etc…
I generally point people to machines around $400, since you can find machines with great specs at this level (on sales, of course)
@radi0j0hn Good point. E-mail, internet (I do a lot of research and writing), miminal streaming…a few vids on occassion (again, usually for research), DVD play/burn, Windows, etc. Not for gaming or a lot of large downloads or uploads. I don’t need a ‘heavy duty’ with TONS of memory or a superspeedway processor.
Thank you!
@Glucose Doesn’t appear this one has GPS either. The +cellular 8.3" version seems to EDIT: “include GPS” but it looks like this one doesn’t have cellular EDIT “doesn’t have GPS I mean”. I was considering the same use… dedicated for my 3DR Solo.
@Glucose I checked the LG tech specs on LG.com. No mention of the GPS capability in the official specs. In comparison, the 8.3" version (the cellular version, called the G Pad V500) specifically lists GPS capability.
For all of the haters… I had one of these “free” from Verizon for signing up for FiOS. I used it daily for about a year and a half, it was great! Good on battery, expandable storage. This is a good deal for a sturdy reliable tablet. Maybe you need an iPad or the newest Galaxy (I did, after a while), but this would be great for a first-time tablet user or a kid, as well as perfectly serviceable for any other user.
Wow, not much love for these on the forum, but somehow the “circuit breaker of he’ll” was tripped. So, “someone” is buying these, right? And if the previous heavy bias towards the whiner crowd continues, there will be lots of these left for you macho spec-buyers to quietly get your deal after you’ve had a good nights sleep. Just don’t wait for the VMP kick-in, cause they get the table scraps, just the way you should treat your most loyal customers…;)
Anyway, predictions for the ‘circuit breaker of he’ll’ numbers for this thingy:
launch slap for the faithful -185
8am breakfast buffet for whiners-740 (or 925 total)
VMP scraps-70 (995 total)
I’m not the market for this product, and I’m trying to figure out who it is now. It can’t be older people who can’t afford an iPad because the screen’s too small, same for “Baby’s/Kid’s First Tablet” users. If you only use it for games on a wifi network, I guess it would be okay, so maybe buy a whole bunch for a hospital setting so that people who have been admitted and don’t have any of their own can be amused by something other than daytime TV?
I had one of these and I ended up giving it away FREE to my brother-in-law. sluggish performance & low-res display contributed to it’s departure as well as the inability to upgrade to Marshmallow.
@radi0j0hn the upgrade required work on the manufactures part(in this case LG) . since this is a cheap tablet, they decided that it wast worth the cost or effort . if you have a geeky side, you can hack this tablet and manually upgrade it.
Once I upgraded from a phone to a phablet (Nexus 6P), my iPad Pro has now joined the dust collectors on my living room end table. Occasionally, to make it seem like a bit less of a paperweight, I’ll take it with me on overnight trips, but I’ve found that the sweet spot (for me, I don’t pass judgment on others’ styles) tends to be my lightweight laptop (Lenovo X1 Carbon w/ touch screen) + manageable phone/phablet (Nexus 6P).
This marks my third attempt at making various tablets work for me, whether iPad / Android / whatever. The iPads in my home are left for the kids to play their games during car rides… hoping I’m never fooled again.
As you can see, I’m not really a fanboy of any particular ideology, with Windows / Apple / Android all in my arsenal. Today’s deal: meh at best.
@chuegen Which iPad Pro do you have? I’ve been considering upgrading my Air to a Pro 12.9, but I’m wondering if it’s too big and heavy to use comfortably.
@ruouttaurmind I have the 12.9. Is it too big and heavy? For me, no, but it depends on your own preferences. In my case, I usually have either the X1 Carbon touch (i7) or the iPad pro with me, carried in my backpack. I’m used to carrying notebooks (physical paper, yeah…) and stuff like that, so it’s not a big deal for me.
@chuegen Most of the “carrying” I do with my iPad is in my bag back and forth to work, or between the bedroom and living room.
Mostly what I’m thinking about is holding the thing while using it. Typically I’ll be on the iPad Air for an hour or two at a time. Took me a bit to get used to the size and weight compared to my little HP 7" tablet. I’m concerned about spending $700 or $800 on a Pro, only to decide later that it’s just to unwieldy to use comfortably.
@Drummy 1. The state sales chart is now reflects sales per capita 2. There are freight forwarders operating out of Delaware that some international buyers are using as a shipment destination (often then to South Korea which is a safe bet on LG product cheaper than you can buy there)
not sure what you mean on sales v. time graph but the graph in the background of the stat block is purely site visits.
@Drummy The time graph is a result of their new “circuit breaker” strategy. Which you can read about here The second peak is a result of the 8am re-release.
Nice deal. Almost bought three times - midnight, eight and just now. (My sleeping habits, or lack thereof seem to be perfect for a meh customer.) I’ve been collecting travel/presentation/work solutions for years. I now have a pretty odd assortment of display devices and keyboards taking up space. But a 7 or 8 inch Android tablet like this one is the current favorite tool. And I would have jumped to upgrade to Lollipop if I hadn’t just backed The Superbook on Kickstarter. God I’m a sucker. Want to know what piece of tech will soon be orphaned? Get a list of stuff I’ve purchased…
can anybody recommend a good case for this tablet? it’s pretty hard to find a decent quality non-folio style case. i’m looking for something like a Unicorn Beetle style by Supcase ( http://www.supcase.com/unicorn-beetle-pro-cases-for-smartphones-tablets.html ) but I don’t seem to be able to find anything similar to that style.
Got it today, charged, installed apps…not bad. Hesitates at times, but good screen and fairly responsive. For checking email, browsing, reading…pretty decent. Will use it as a travel tablet.
@eeterrific got mine today also. Its much smoother than my old 2012 Nexus 7 that i’ve still been using. I’m gonna miss that tablet but I think it’s time to give it a rest.
Took mine out of the box and plugged it in to charge; it booted and wrapped up an apparent upgrade. Google Play Store was busted, though - failed with an error every time I launched it. Had to grab the newest version from APKMirror and install manually, then everything was fine. Very happy with it. For wasting time on the web and watching YouTube (720p), it’s a lot easier on the eyes than my phone.

@wew look for a nexus 10. I loved mine till i sold it to a friend.
@ThoR294 This day in age those specs are really bad.
@ThoR294 that’s a Big border on the nexus 10, ha.
@wew worth buying just for the Irk animation. I could have sworn Irk opened his mouth.
@ThoR294 why do you hate it now?

@Skylord123 In this day and age, an $84 tablet is awfully cheap and we don’t expect it to have high-end specs.
Gee it’s a pad- meh pad
Meh
I’m so conditioned that the price will be about 1/2 off, compared to Amazon, that I’m disappointed when it’s not!
@mcemanuel Could be that it’s new & not refurbed & has a 1 yr warranty.

@Jamileigh17 You’re not even a part of modern society unless you plug in at least 7 things to charge at the end of each day.

@awk

7" fire for $50 (or whatever you happened to pay) or today’s 8" android
Hmm, if only I didn’t already own a bunch of fires…
@mehdaf the screen on the $50 amazon sucks and the processor is slower
@mehdaf On Prime day the Fire was only $33!
@mehdaf that extra inch is huge for usability. Really. 7 is too close to a phablet and 8 is just enough closer to a full size tablet.

Today’s writeup is chock full of solid logic.

@baqui63 i think they use one alpha and three numerical characters, but 26000 products ain’t too bad either.
@baqui63 The assumption about 4 characters doesn’t hold up - tablets get the 4 character treatment, TVs get their own prefix http://www.costco.com/LG-65"-Class-(64.5-Diag.)-4K-Ultra-HD-Smart-Curved-OLED-TV-65EG9600.product.100233711.html, and when we start talking about washers, dryers, or fridges, naming gets pretty insane http://www.homedepot.com/p/LG-Electronics-4-3-cu-ft-High-Efficiency-Front-Load-Washer-in-White-ENERGY-STAR-WM3170CW/205635018 http://www.costco.com/LG-4-Piece-ELECTRIC-30CuFt-4-Door-French-Door-with-Door-In-Door-Kitchen-Suite-in-Black-Stainless-Steel-|-LPXS30866D%2C-LDE4415BD%2C-LMHM2237BD%2C-LDT9965BD.product.100285747.html
@lxlx And AC units like my snappily named LG LW8016ER.
@lxlx Not my assumption (see the last bullet point re: LG model numbers on the main product page).

@RedOak I prefer samsung to LG, that said I own a lot of LG stuff as well… get 'em both?
@thismyusername yep. I already know the SAMs manager well due to having some service issues - specifically when compared to the Costco a couple blocks away.
Specs don’t say… Does this thing have GPS RX?
Isn’t FreedomPop selling these for $49 with free internet?
@gallogj They had similar ones for something like that recently. Right now all I see are the 7" 8GB ones for $100.
@gallogj refurbished. This one is new with warranty
Anyone know if this will work with Square and it’s new chip reader?
@adamselby yes square only need a headphone jack. (or bluetooth if you are using the new fancy apple pay square reader)
@communist yep knew about the headphone jack of course. I was more concerned with the Bluetooth version. Looks like it’s good though!
@communist @adamselby I use Square all the time and you cannot use it on tablets unless you get a reader specifically for tablets like the bluetooth version.
@cengland0 what tablet do you use?
my hp touchpad running android 4.0.4 still works with square headphone jack reader
@communist I use a Samsung Note 10.1 2014 Edition.
Android tablets are completely commodified at this point and these specs can definitely be had for less
@Lazarpandar that would be why there might be a brewing battle between Samsung and Google. Samsung keeps taking Android in a custom direction not to Google’s generic/universal liking.
I think T-Mobile just had a promotion where you got one of these for free if you paid the $10 a month fee for the service.
@somf69 so they’re actually charging you $240 for it, just over two years?
@sitonmyfacebook You’re paying for the service. Their video and music are mostly uncapped now, so it’s really not a bad deal
EDIT: Oh, and the iPad Air? 1GB of RAM.
@rschauer iPads are beautiful devices. 1GB is enough for an iOS device because of the efficiency of the OS and the tight integration with the hardware. Android devices don’t have that in their corner, and often require more RAM to run effectively.
@sidewinder3000 all my ios devices have 2GB of ram
edit: ok not my old ipad2 but I only keep it around for the 40pin pinball thinger…
Don’t let anybody tell you 7 inches is enough. That extra inch makes a world of difference in usability. seriously
Same answer for 16 GB vs 8 GB of storage.
Are you trying to make a dick joke or something?
@RedOak That’s what she said!
@AdmiralDave no. That would be juvenile. The comment was serious.
At least it’s not a speaker dock. Golly those days were painful.
@zahgrim sacrilege! we demand moar jbl minis!
@thismyusername I actually want a JBL mini. I just broke mine and I like it.
It’s actually $173 on Amazon.
More specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g_pad_8_0-6353.php --one gig of RAM is buying obsolescence these days. Two is a minimum
@daggar So get two of these bad boys then? Imagine a Beowulf cluster of those.
I really just need some Pokéballs.
The amazon price is now lower than my sale price
https://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Encore-2-Tablet-Satin-Gold/dp/B00KK8S0QI
Pretty decent tablet for $100… runs full windows (even 10).
The only real problem (and it’s universal with these little windows tablets) is that you need to power it off to save battery (wintel tabs are hungry sleepers compared to android and ios it seems) but it boots fast enough to not matter.
If only you sold this before I found that one…
Is this tablet baby arm compatible? Doesn’t appear to be.
@cshillaber So what you are saying is that you are making clay scribes obsolete?
@cshillaber what’s a copper merchant?
@copperx welcome to the Mesopotamian Internet!
@copperx someone with your name should know… check this customer complaint out!
/buy --coupon SCRATCHTHESURFACE
@Superjimtendo Sorry, this deal contains 2 unique items and I’m not sure which one you want. Try ordering from the checkout page.
@Superjimtendo coupon eh?
@JT954 Me, too. Let me know if you find it. I need a laptop and a desktop, but either will do first. Oh… and I need a DVD burner on it.
I’m looking for a good (cheap) large screen laptop. Any suggestions? Doesn’t have be all-powerful. Just normal, everyday stuff.
Thanks!
@Tadlem43 Browse around http://www.newegg.com/
I got a laptop for under $600 that fits my needs perfectly!
@Tadlem43 acer makes a solid laptop that isn’t crazy expensive, check newegg/amazon
@Tadlem43 Define “normal, everyday stuff.” Just like a camera for “general photography,” you’ll get a lot of worthless answers.
@apurohit8 here is the link http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-15-6-touch-screen-laptop-amd-a10-series-6gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-black-linear-texture-gradient-grooves/5252100.p?loc=0&ref=8575135&acampID=2c4ccc4e527811e6a9af7211978d2d0b0INT&id=bb5252100&skuId=5252100
and yes you can post links to other sites. you can even post …
@apurohit8 15.6 and up. Thanks for the info!
Thank you!
@communist Thank you!
@Glucose Thanks, sweetie! (sorry, I had to do that)
@ThoR294 I’ve heard their laptops are good. I’ll check it out. Thank you!
@Tadlem43
Bought this specifically for my DJI Phantom 4.
I originally got the kindle fire… but it had no GPS.
Any reasons I shouldn’t do this?
@Glucose Doesn’t appear this one has GPS either. The +cellular 8.3" version seems to EDIT: “include GPS” but it looks like this one doesn’t have cellular EDIT “doesn’t have GPS I mean”. I was considering the same use… dedicated for my 3DR Solo.
@ruouttaurmind http://www.notebookcheck.net/LG-G-Pad-8-0-V480-Tablet-Review.128408.0.html
This shows it does, is it a different model?
@packsaucyrat You must have a lot of time on your hands. Why not figure out why people buy a Buick.
@jmbunkin Because brand passion and people who can afford Buicks don’t have a lot of imagination?
@jmbunkin Same reason people buy a Lincoln: their uncle gets a supplier discount!
pass, but thanks. To slow to do anything without getting frustrated.
@mike929 To slow, perchance to dream. (Oops, I was too slow.)
First Meh purchase!
@Bezalel Welcome to the money-wasters’ club.
Anybody with thoughts or experience turning this into a retro gaming device?
No thanks, I’ll stick with my Leapfrog Epic.
@boinks I have an Epic Leakfrog. /mic-drop
I had one of these and I ended up giving it away FREE to my brother-in-law. sluggish performance & low-res display contributed to it’s departure as well as the inability to upgrade to Marshmallow.
@jhechotek Hmmm…Not sure if that makes you nice or an A-hole.
@MrMark definitely depends if he gave it to him FREE in all caps or just normal.
@MrMark I’m an a-hole
@jhechotek Why not root it and the install CM13 to get to marshmallow (although it’s not a big deal for me anyhow).
Serious question: what causes on tablet to be upgradable and another not?
For more portable people? Might be an issue.
I guess this is a better deal, even though its an unbranded Tablet, it runs Windows 10…

@jareza
Question: How much ram does it have
Answer: 1.oo GB
even seller think ram is meh
1GB ram…
"Say you’re looking for a tablet. First question: "
Windows.
Bought it. I’ve been looking for a small tablet to store and to read all of my ebooks / pdf’s
Okay, so why were like a billion of these sold to Delaware? Also the sales v. time graph is highly suspicious. Looks like someone bulk bought?
@Drummy Nice info from where did you get it cause i find it interesting ty
It’s Cyber Mehnday in July!
Looks like a worthy competitor to my Galaxy Tab 3… which I bought a few years ago (and am typing this from).
well, I did the buy thing from the main page, so:
/image incredible-refreshing-porridge
Sorry if this was already asked, don’t have time to search the entire thread. Are these 4G LTE or just Wi-Fi?
@Jerrold just wifi
@snapster Thanks!!
@Frcal Oooo… it’s like an Atrix lapdock without requiring the awkward cable sets.
Yup. Or the Asus Padfone without the awkward…everything.
i got one like this new w 4g lte for $1 w a phone upgrade lol
Not refurbished
can anybody recommend a good case for this tablet? it’s pretty hard to find a decent quality non-folio style case. i’m looking for something like a Unicorn Beetle style by Supcase ( http://www.supcase.com/unicorn-beetle-pro-cases-for-smartphones-tablets.html ) but I don’t seem to be able to find anything similar to that style.
@WhiteKenny I wonder if anyone still has any from this sale …
@narfcake lol, nice. but those are sleeves, I’m looking for a case.
@WhiteKenny Yeah. I had a 2012 Nexus, and had to backlevel it to 4.4.2 to get it to even be usable. This is much better.
Not a fan. Drops wifi often and there is a keyboard glitch.
