Pre Amazon BOC were fucking awesome. I was lucky enough to get one and the amount of shit in it was worth well over $500. I’ve gotten 2 since Amazon took over. Booth times i felt cheated out of my cash lol. The first one i got had a 22" monitor, seiko watch, Asus Eee pc and tons of other goodies. Now days i get a fucking fly swatter, diamond studded dog tags and a roll of dog shit sacks that are defective (basically just one big sleeve), Woot boc is not something i even look for anymore, i’d still buy one if it popped up but expectations would be low.

With the quantity they produce and the relative ease of getting them, combined with positive nostalgia (only remembering the amazing hauls), most folks think that it sucks now. And it does. It’s crap. But it was then too. I still like to get them, and generally can make a profit from it. In my last one I got a motorized HD antenna. Flipped on ebay for $22. Good enough for me as it paid for the BOC twice over and gave me the enjoyment of getting one.

So you could try that to at least get back your money…

The car trash can is nicer than my current car trash can. So I guess it’s a win. A tiny win but still. And I can wipe my phone off without that spray stuff I didn’t buy from Meh.
