What is the true age range for this? Would a nine year old enjoy it? What about an eleven year old? I've got a few more kid gifts I need to pick up, but I'm not sure if they are already too old for this.
@PurplePawprints I turned 51 in April and am considering buying this for my use. I know other people much much younger than I who would not be interested in this at all. It really depends on the particular 9- and 11-year-olds in question. You know them best (well, better than I do).

I could buy one to give to an orphan but then what about the other 1.2 million orphans in this country? Somebody would feel left out I'm guessing. (will get two instead, that way the one won't feel unique).

This is pretty cool, but if I recall correctly from a couple decades ago, K'Nex hurt my thumbs and make me think too much.
Got a set for my niece. She loves building toys like Lincoln logs and those crazy marble maze things, so she should hopefully like these.

Christmas toy
Bought these (3) to donate to a toy drive. Loved them as a kid (legos and erector sets too).
The one I ordered for the nephew kidlet arrived today. Looks like fun! Wish I'd ordered more for him though.
