@mehthafucka Given the randomness of it and the nature of otehr posts I've seen here, I'm inclined to think server issue. Unless the posts were highly offensive or personal attacks. The easy way to test that would be to make the post again and see if it sticks... You know, the scientific method.

I never left the page, I didn't naviagte anywhere - I refreshed the page again and the posting was gone. It was then I left this comment.
As to my inital post, (the "Motherfucker!" in question which appeared here) I figured I would go revise the comment to more accurately reflect my enthusiasm for SDF (and as @brhfl can attest to first-hand sometimes I use all five minutes of edit time to jack with my post either because 1. I typed something stoopid or 2. I want the comment below mine to look whacked [in good fun] or 3. for both those reasons) . . . But the comment was gone, "like a fart in the wind" to quote @mehthafucka.
I made my second comment two hours later, after convincing myself it was something I had done when I noticed another user in this thread found their post in a different thread. So, I started copying and pasting thread titles into notepad and checking for my post. It wasn't in the other thread it is in now or any other thread I could find on the page. I checked Irk's thread last night accoring to my own log.
Last night there were other users in this thread reporting postings being gone - postings that were either quickly revised or that just have found their way into the Meh ether, because they aren't here now - "I got censored too, Yay!", "What happened to my comment", WTF? I just posted and it is gone", "I can't find my post to edit it". ALL of those comments appeared in this very thread last night.
Either it is one hell of a quirky server error the likes I have never seen before or someone purloined the keys to the castle and was having fun (or maybe their rare night is to be inebriated while mine is to be sober and they don't remember doing it) - I don't know. I am sure @JonT will look into it.
All I know is I looked for my post in every thread I could find for 2 hours, nothing - I looked in the thread it is in now - it wasn't there. I kept notations as I said, looking for where it may have gone or where I may have put it by mistake, convincing myself I was going crazy (and in need of a beer, which thirty minutes into this issue I had just to increase my mental acuity). Anyway - that's what happened.
My Fukubukuro will be here tomorrow or Monday, and I owe my wife an unboxing video while dressed in drag which I said I would post here. This Mini dock is actually much better than the Micro dock- it has significantly better sound quality, and it has built-in rechargeable batteries. Of course its bigger, but IMO worth it. I'll pass on this one though, I got the 2 for Tuesday last time. Had this been 2 for $44 again, I would have been tempted to buy again and gift or sell. But another one at a higher price? Nah.
@grum I think the warehouse is actually built out of JBL speaker docks... and now that they have moved all the neoprene they can take down another wall ;)

@PurplePawprints Cali snatching up all them docks! I do like that there were 13 sold but it's now back down to 12. Someone made the right decision tonight.
At this point the speaker dock seems to be something they "sell" to taunt us. When they really want to sell them, they will be in batches of 10, 20, 30, ... And I'll have something to put in all these neoprene sleeves.

DAMMIT!! I was completely going to buy a Mini the next time they came up for sale. It would be a perfect nightstand charger for my iPad (which I use as my alarm clock) even if I never use the speaker. Unfortunately, I found out Tuesday that I'm being cut from full time to half time. My discretionary budget has been sliced to zero. Now I'm going to have to ponder this all night and see if I'm strong enough to resist clicking the BUY IT button in the morning when I first regain consciousness but not reason. Based on the Virginia stats, I know how my son will be listening to music at Camp Silver Beach this year. There's only 5 other people that live in that county year round, it must be camp staff.

I get the distinct impression that, while it started as a joke, Speaker Dock Friday has basically become the Meh.com staff's way of taking the day off. I'd give you praise for a clever idea, but the speaker dock on sale has sapped all my enthusiasm.

12 hours in and they've sold 98. Look at all the blank states. I'd say that this particular deal is an excellent data point for their experiment. As in, same crap at a higher price equals less than mediocre sales.
All you haters should know that speaker docks are great for vacations, especially mediocre employees. You would think a bag of crap would give the employees more free time. On the upside, the slow sales day let me go in and update my address - and let me notice the default address now makes sense. Looks like a vacation would be well deserved.

I have 2... but in that extreme case, of course - the dyson has intrinsic value and would be useful to kids moving out - a speaker dock... not so much... it's just clutter.... and... jumping through @JonT's nacho hoops would give me pause.... @unixrab I'm happy I won one. I have the small one for work and large one at home. The small one keeps my phone charged and plays music. No downside there. The large one is used to keep my wife ipad mini charged plus built in battery so it takes trips aropund the house plus future camping. Can't see how that's too usless.
@StrangerDanger The iPad comes with a charger Does/can your wife use her iPad while it's docked? Either way... if they are useful to you...cool. Happy for you. If I want to charge my devices...I use the charger... If want to listen to music from my devices I use earbuds or the Onkyo reciever in my sound system - I've no use for speaker docks.

@unixrab You’re right, more of a convince placing it on the doc then moving the charger around. It's where she keeps it at night, holds it upright looks nifty ect. I would love if our phones connected to my Yamaha receiver but it's 15 years old and still works so I keep using it. My mom uses hers on the pool deck. Depending on what you already own, if you own apple products and lifestyle it may or may not be for you. There is a market (evident by sales) just not for everyone.

Why $30?
This Mini dock is actually much better than the Micro dock- it has significantly better sound quality, and it has built-in rechargeable batteries. Of course its bigger, but IMO worth it. I'll pass on this one though, I got the 2 for Tuesday last time. Had this been 2 for $44 again, I would have been tempted to buy again and gift or sell. But another one at a higher price? Nah.

At this point the speaker dock seems to be something they "sell" to taunt us. When they really want to sell them, they will be in batches of 10, 20, 30, ... And I'll have something to put in all these neoprene sleeves.

DAMMIT!! I was completely going to buy a Mini the next time they came up for sale. It would be a perfect nightstand charger for my iPad (which I use as my alarm clock) even if I never use the speaker. Unfortunately, I found out Tuesday that I'm being cut from full time to half time. My discretionary budget has been sliced to zero. Now I'm going to have to ponder this all night and see if I'm strong enough to resist clicking the BUY IT button in the morning when I first regain consciousness but not reason. Curse the fickleness of employent!

Based on the Virginia stats, I know how my son will be listening to music at Camp Silver Beach this year. There's only 5 other people that live in that county year round, it must be camp staff.

I get the distinct impression that, while it started as a joke, Speaker Dock Friday has basically become the Meh.com staff's way of taking the day off. I'd give you praise for a clever idea, but the speaker dock on sale has sapped all my enthusiasm.

So meh about this I'm not even making them until just before eating. The most meh of ingredients--exactly the same ones you'd shell out upwards of $7 for in a plastic square tray at a ballgame or even $10 for at a concert. (I think I even paid $13 for them at AT&T Stadium, but those came with free chili.)
And also this is potentially the most nachos I've seen so far... Just look at that vat of "cheese"! And there's more chips where those came from! The box came with TWO GIANT BAGS!

I have 2... but in that extreme case, of course - the dyson has intrinsic value and would be useful to kids moving out - a speaker dock... not so much... it's just clutter.... and... jumping through @JonT's nacho hoops would give me pause.... I'd have to consider whether my pride was worth more than letting a power-mad puppeteer get his jollies by making people do stuff from afar while he sits back in judgement... ...yeah.. @unixrab I'm happy I won one. I have the small one for work and large one at home. The small one keeps my phone charged and plays music. No downside there. The large one is used to keep my wife ipad mini charged plus built in battery so it takes trips aropund the house plus future camping. Can't see how that's too usless.
@StrangerDanger The iPad comes with a charger Does/can your wife use her iPad while it's docked? Either way... if they are useful to you...cool. Happy for you. If I want to charge my devices...I use the charger... If want to listen to music from my devices I use earbuds or the Onkyo reciever in my sound system - I've no use for speaker docks.

@unixrab You’re right, more of a convince placing it on the doc then moving the charger around. It's where she keeps it at night, holds it upright looks nifty ect. I would love if our phones connected to my Yamaha receiver but it's 15 years old and still works so I keep using it. My mom uses hers on the pool deck. Depending on what you already own, if you own apple products and lifestyle it may or may not be for you. There is a market (evident by sales) just not for everyone.
