The Regret is strong in this one. Seems I struck out on this bag. Surprised so many others got a lot better stuff in theirs.
@Rueki You did strike out, but it is important to see these bags as to temper expectations accordingly. We all did purchase a bag of instant regret. I like to imagine most regret is so strong they don’t even post, and we see a disproportionate amount of the better ones.
@KNmeh7 Indeed. I’ve gotten a few bags from meh since I joined during its inception. Some were decent, some were not, but never were they extraordinary. I like to try and post my bags when I can to show a better picture of the bags meh delivers.
@Rueki last years fuku birthday meh my husband scored consisted of a broken True Blood Bar Mirror and that was it. Needless to say, this year his expectations are low and his regret is extremely high while waiting for the delivery of his IRK.

Yours is an exception. My IRK - moving from Texas to southern Illinois - has happily been sitting in Greenwood, IN (far outside of a direct path) for the past 4 days with no movement. This is a path that normally takes only 3 days for even media mail USPS - but YAY FOR NEWGISTICS!
@chuegen Mine is in Greenwood too. It says departed facility. Which may just mean sitting on a pallet waiting for enough things to get stacked on it before actually leaving.
I’ve noticed from the BBB site that Newgistics tends to “kick them loose” when you file a claim against them, usually with something like “we’re sorry, we’ve checked into it, found your package, and it’s moving on now, due <x>”. If it makes it to one week sitting still in Greenwood, I’ll file a claim against them with the BBB.

Wooohoooo! Just updated that the Wentzville post office has received the packages. Will be interesting to see which of the three make it to me at what time… Hoping my 11-year-old can practice restraint, as the last ones were opened by her while I was at work.
IRK arrived, and the main surprise was spoiled before I even brought it in the house… a Boneco humidifer!!!
But wait, there was more… Inside the box I also found both an orange IRK bag, and a pack of red light up glow sticks.
The humidifier looks returned, but has all its parts and seems unopened inside; haven’t had a chance to plug it in yet to see if it’s working, but if it is, major score then!!! I live in an area where the only time I consider the humidity is “Jesus H Christo, it’s hot as balls and humid out there”, But with this fancy new device my nostrils will never again know the feeling of lack of moisture. Thanks Meh, my regret was certainly instant!!
So got mine yesterday . Chrome book with wrong power cord, 2 paint markers, Laura Ashley watch, Canton and Hall watch, DTech Derma Sonic, window mount and bag.
Update: The Chromebook doesn’t hold a charge, and upon further inspection of the box, there’s a note taped on (possibly from the previous owner) saying as such. The power supply is supplying the correct power and it turns on, it just immediately turns back off when unplugged.
iFixit doesn’t stock replacement batteries and its specs look way too low to be worth fixing it anyway, so I suppose it’s off to the e-waste facility at the dump. Looks like that bumps this IRK from “nearly all” to “complete” garbage, save for the IRK bag itself.
@lljk You might already know this, Chromebook specs don’t have to be as robust as windows computers to run efficiently. I think it’s the same model I have and it runs great. A new battery is less than $50 and there are Youtube videos on how to replace it. I would say it falls in the easy category. This would also be a good laptop to run linux. I wish this had been in my IRK.

@therealjrn I think the hair dryer will quiet my wife enough to let me spring for another $ 5 on the next IRK. She always says this is waste of money-of course it is-that is the fun of it. Aldi is FINALLY coming to our area. One store in Montgomery, one in Prattville, one in Wetumpka…whoohoo! Only one open so far is in Prattville but MGM store due to open early Aug.
@LexPendragon I use mine for groceries all the time, but I generally put the loaded bag in a shove-everything-you-own-in-here cart. (When you’re old as dirt, you can afford to have no pride.) And I think I’ve noticed that cashiers who load the bags tend to give me a wide berth because they don’t want to know anything else about me.

Turns out that the car mount, though in a pristine sealed factory product box, was busted when I opened it with the suction cup that attaches it to surfaces broken off of the base. The other end has a nice strong magnet that I can probably do something with, however.
Having added batteries to one of the bags, the light-up panel is pretty cool.

Also the Claiborne wallet was instead a pink Gabba Goods brand wallet. The projector bundle was in similar condition to what you describe. Curious . . . did your box have #3 written on the outside (at least 3 or 4 of the six sides) in pen? Mine did. Could perhaps reveal something.

Yes, it looks like it’s for real. The box was opened, and some of the styrofoam broken, but most of the internal boxes & bags were sealed. And it powers up!

Got a nice flattening iron that will be repurposed for nefarious use, and a super wide curling iron that I’ll give a shot some day soon on a day off. @Outer78 Careful with it without testing your tolerance first; it has Phenibut in it. Don’t combine with alcohol, or at least more than a small amount of alcohol.
Also, supplements don’t exactly expire like, say, milk does. Anything like this will be good for years after the date shown.

Received my first ever IRK yesterday. It’s… acceptable. Received Tulip hair curler (which I’d be terrified to use), a nice detangler brush, which I WILL use, and a decent pair of shades which I’ve already used! The other two items, wireless airbuds and an activity tracker, will be gifted to someone that will actually use them. Plus the neon orange IRK bag. Not bad for my first go-round.

@medonsw Depending on your local laws, there may be a “workaround” when repairs are that costly to pass an inspection. You may want to ask a mechanic you trust to see what can be done.
@musmagic Thanks. I took a look online, but it doesn’t look like our state cuts anyone any slack on car inspections. We have to do it once a year. This car is 10 years old (with ridiculously low mileage), and the garage that did the inspection is where I’ve taken it for maintenance for the entire 10 years. This is the first time it hasn’t passed inspection and the first time it’s needed any major repairs. I wasn’t expecting it to fail the inspection, but I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. That being said, my husband says he’s going to look under the car tomorrow and he’d better see some shiny new parts.
Swingline laminator - (which proceeded to smoke and caught fire when I plugged it in to see if it worked). Luckily it happened on an old steel desk. Apparently there was a piece of paper stuck in the rollers, so when it heated up the paper caught fire. Too bad. I actually needed a laminator.

@CaptAmehrican If you can tell me the size of the box: height, width, length, and the weight, I can estimate a shipping cost. I just threw in some random figures and it could cost me anywhere from $69 to $300 if it weighs 30 pounds.
Might cost too much if it’s the Rachael Ray 12-piece set that Morning save sells for $69 or the 4-piece Red Copper for $39. Have to really think twice about this if the shipping costs more than the pans.

Wow. What’s up with the IRK showing up so swiftly? I’m very impressed. Pics later, I have RV repairs to finish up.
For now: I received an IRK bag, a very long microUSB cable (Bungee brand I think?) a pair of all synthetic women’s socks (size: Sasquatch) and a FrenchFry 3.7qt air fryer. Appears brand new in opened box. Still has the protective film, packing cardboard and tape in place. It’s a bit larger than the last air fryer I received, which is perfect! Now I can stack the little box on top of the big box in my storage room.
So, got my I.R.K. which was somewhat disappointing because I got exactly two items, both BRAND FRAKKING NEW!
I mean, cool and all… who can’t use another bag, especially a bright orange one that is larger than the average such bag. Yay!(ish)
But now I have four sous vide cookers (three new in box) and three slow cookers (one new in box)… or maybe it would be better to say I now have have 3.5 sous vide cookers (2.5 NIB) and 2.5 slow cookers (0.5 NIB).
But where is the fun of getting a bunch of items (or even ONE FRAKKING item) that are(is) possibly(probably!) broken and/or used? Shit that actually has to be tested and might damage something during that testing? And the funky weird stuff that someone (who is much stranger than I am) might actually want?
It is lucky that I already have five or six huge boxes of such crap from previous BOCs, fukus and fukos or else I wouldn’t be able to participate in the next Mehxchange.

Update: Chromebook works. There was a user account on it, but a factory reset wiped it all. Don’t know if the battery will hold a charge yet, but still really pleased.

@j2 Cal King will not fit a standard king mattress, it’s wider and shorter than a standard. But… save it for the Mehexchange-a-thon (not the right term, but whatever,) there are quite a few Cal-king folks on here who bitch, constantly, that Meh doesn’t carry their size of bedding - you might get a sweet deal in exchange, like maybe from someone who has 4 insta-pots or something!

Here it is one day early or two days late depending upon how you look at it. Anyway, I am tickled purple. I love this Chromebook (CB35 - B3340). It is full HD 1080p and has Scullcandy speakers. Hey, do I sound like a techie?
Yeah, it’s getting a little long in tooth (kinda like I am), but when they made it, it was one of the bestest of the best. I charged the battery, started it up, and updated the Chrome OS. Works like a charm. And that screen – the color pops! The speakers? Oh, wow!

There is like an IRK level #1, where you get (at least) one thing that might, possibly, have some value (iff you need/want the thing,) and IRK level #0, where the best thing is still of no value. As a recipient of an IRK level #0, I just want to say, congratulations to those of you who received an IRK #1 or better. From myself, representing level #0 (or below,) I’d just like to say FU, Meh. We got what we paid for, or less. Assuming the new Pumpkin Bag is worth $5. However, for those of you who scored a great deal, good for you. For me, personally, I’ve about had it with you, Meh. And not because others received useful or interesting things in their IRKs, but because Meh has become, well, kind of boring. And my IRK didn’t do anything to make this whole experience more interesting. This is the first “mystery” purchase that actually caused me disappointment, in all these years. Nothing I want, nothing I need, nothing I could trade with anyone else for something more interesting, nothing I’d even be willing to donate to charity. This was, truly, the essence of Meh.

What’s really making me sad is that I can’t even get a good story out of my IRK, as the two anime(? cartoon?) character glasses are too (cool? old? obscure?) for me to know, so I can’t even start one. @cbl_wv Yeah… it’s like… when they first start packing these things up to ship someone says hey, lets put this one cool thing in there. Then after a day of packing these things up someones just going blindfolded to the trash bin and throwing stuff over their shoulder into a box and MAYBE throwing a piece of tape over it. Kinda like when I start my Christmas wrapping and then what happens about the time I’m wrapping the 20th item.

I’m not attaching pictures but this IRK was a pleasant surprise. Sonic toothbrush with 8 extra heads, 17-piece knife set with cutting board, a Milan purse - my three-year-old loves and thinks she’s a fashionista now, a fast wireless charger, Bluetooth headphones and the pumpkin bag. Much better than I expected for five bucks. Aside from my wife wondering why I keep buying crap like this it was a total score!
It’s made by True and Tidy. I checked the shipping box (which was the manufacturer’s shipping box) and the retail box. It’s just the steam mop. Doesn’t look like it was opened and resealed, so not sure what happened with the rest of it. I guess they screwed up ?

Arrived Friday 7-19. Got a little excited when I picked it up off the front porch! It was heavy- like a 20 pound bag of potatoes heavy. On top was the Orange IRK bag, 2 purses, a 24 piece makeup kit, Clawz kids shoes, a cat collar, a men’s Stormtech jacket, and… a Gotrax Hoverfly eco hoverboard! A hoverrboard that looks like it was dropped over Hover Dam The only area that is not scraped, scratched, abraded or broken are the rubber footpads! It looks like someone took a grinder to it! Obviously there are no instructions, charger or cords etc… I have received used items before from MEH but this is extreme! I always give this stuff away anyway, but this is just IRKsome!!!

There are just too many posts here to see if anyone else’s matched mine but somehow I doubt it. I got the notification of delivery yesterday and got home expecting a nice average sized box, especially since we can’t see the dimensions anymore. I was a bit surprised at the huge box sitting there. Even more so when I went to move it a bit and found it was pretty heavy. Maybe it was a goat special delivery.
Took it inside, opened it up to find the following:
One crappy set of Chinese earrings that at least someone else can use. Going to price that at $1.
One crappy elephant stamped cuff bracelet that once again someone else can use. Again, $1.
One Track n Guard dog collar. I guess I could use this, but I’d have to find the right person to use it with. Second option is to give it to someone with a dog. Sold on Morningsave for ? but generally retails for about $12.
It got a little more interesting with a Nixon Kingpin watch. Black with rose gold hands. Again, sold on Morningsave for ?. The only one online I can currently find being sold is on Amazon for $250. Which means it’s probably worth about $70. It’s actually pretty nice and I’d wear it if I find the need to wear an analog watch. As it is, my Apple Watch gets worn daily.
Finally, I really didn’t expect the box to match the contents. But, there it was, an LG OM7560 1000W RMS Hi-Fi Entertainment and Karaoke System. Last sold here for $174 but still available online for as much as $469. The bottom rear of the cabinet is a bit banged up like it was dropped pretty hard. But, I plugged it in and it started right up. My phone connected via bluetooth with no problem. I started up some Rush and turned the volume and OMG, this thing cranks out some sound. I’m yet to find out if absolutely everything on it works but for now, it’s the biggest, loudest bluetooth speaker I own. There’s a neighbor two houses away with what I assume are teenagers that like to have the occasional loud parties late into the night. I’m thinking the next time I have to listen to their shitty music I’m going to haul this outside and crank up some counter-tunes like Rachmaninoff.

I know the company went belly up but for those of us who still have one of their watches, this app is needed for it to work.

Finally got mine. The USPS allegedly tried and failed to deliver it, but they never notified me or gave me one of those slips or anything. It’s a good thing I checked the tracking info before August, or it would have been sent back!

I don’t have a receiver or much desire for a 5.1 setup, but I do have a soundbar I could plug the subwoofer into… but even then I need to figure out wtf to do with the other speakers. No idea if it’s actually missing parts, or what parts could possibly be missing.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a boc/fuku/irk before, but this one seems to have lived up to the hype: getting a big semi-expensive item that I personally have little use for. Although it wasn’t instant, the extra work it’s given me has left me with some regret, so it’s done its job. Thanks Meh!
well… i finally got around to opening the self balancing scooter i got in the irk. unfortunately, i think it was a return. when i plug in the charger, there’s a small click sound. i left it charging for a couple hours, but it doesn’t want to turn on. maybe i’ll take it apart this weekend and see if i can figure out what’s going on.

I’m really not sure why I was blessed with an unexpected regret attempt, but you’ll have to try again, Meh! I don’t have an ounce of regret here. The closest I came to regret was explaining to my wife that I did not order what would appear to her to be a box of worthless junk
So the Vitamask stuff is a refill kit for the suspect looking fruit mask machine I neglected to order. So much for that. If anyone has the machine and wants refills, HMU.
But the Henckels knife set is a $100 knife set. Score! I need to don my Kevlar gloves and open the box up to see if it’s intact.

Yours is an exception. My IRK - moving from Texas to southern Illinois - has happily been sitting in Greenwood, IN (far outside of a direct path) for the past 4 days with no movement. This is a path that normally takes only 3 days for even media mail USPS - but YAY FOR NEWGISTICS!

IRK arrived, and the main surprise was spoiled before I even brought it in the house… a Boneco humidifer!!!

The humidifier looks returned, but has all its parts and seems unopened inside; haven’t had a chance to plug it in yet to see if it’s working, but if it is, major score then!!! I live in an area where the only time I consider the humidity is “Jesus H Christo, it’s hot as balls and humid out there”, But with this fancy new device my nostrils will never again know the feeling of lack of moisture. Update: The Chromebook doesn’t hold a charge, and upon further inspection of the box, there’s a note taped on (possibly from the previous owner) saying as such. The power supply is supplying the correct power and it turns on, it just immediately turns back off when unplugged.
iFixit doesn’t stock replacement batteries and its specs look way too low to be worth fixing it anyway, so I suppose it’s off to the e-waste facility at the dump. Looks like that bumps this IRK from “nearly all” to “complete” garbage, save for the IRK bag itself.

@lljk You might already know this, Chromebook specs don’t have to be as robust as windows computers to run efficiently. I think it’s the same model I have and it runs great. A new battery is less than $50 and there are Youtube videos on how to replace it. I would say it falls in the easy category. This would also be a good laptop to run linux. I wish this had been in my IRK.

Aldi is FINALLY coming to our area. One store in Montgomery, one in Prattville, one in Wetumpka…whoohoo! Only one open so far is in Prattville but MGM store due to open early Aug.
@LexPendragon I use mine for groceries all the time, but I generally put the loaded bag in a shove-everything-you-own-in-here cart. (When you’re old as dirt, you can afford to have no pride.) And I think I’ve noticed that cashiers who load the bags tend to give me a wide berth because they don’t want to know anything else about me.

I’ll have to experiment with the light-up Halloween bags to see if I can do something fun with them.
Turns out that the car mount, though in a pristine sealed factory product box, was busted when I opened it with the suction cup that attaches it to surfaces broken off of the base. The other end has a nice strong magnet that I can probably do something with, however.
Having added batteries to one of the bags, the light-up panel is pretty cool.
@steelopus also got a food saver, but in red. Looks new as well. Haven’t tested it out yet.

Also the Claiborne wallet was instead a pink Gabba Goods brand wallet. The projector bundle was in similar condition to what you describe. Curious . . . did your box have #3 written on the outside (at least 3 or 4 of the six sides) in pen? Mine did. Could perhaps reveal something.

Used, opened Jawbone Up fitness tracker. The computer beeped when I plugged it in, so either it’s charging, or I now have a Meh virus. Or both.

The Singtrix Party Bundle Premium Edition seems to be discontinued, but selling for $400-600. I have no use for a karaoke system, but that sort of price makes this the best BOC/Fuko/IRK I’ve ever received. And hey, buttons and knobs and stuff to fiddle with.

@Outer78 Careful with it without testing your tolerance first; it has Phenibut in it. Don’t combine with alcohol, or at least more than a small amount of alcohol.
Also, supplements don’t exactly expire like, say, milk does. Anything like this will be good for years after the date shown.

Received my first ever IRK yesterday. It’s… acceptable. Received Tulip hair curler (which I’d be terrified to use), a nice detangler brush, which I WILL use, and a decent pair of shades which I’ve already used! The other two items, wireless airbuds and an activity tracker, will be gifted to someone that will actually use them. Plus the neon orange IRK bag. Not bad for my first go-round.

It was on the porch when I got back from finding out my car needs $1,000 of repairs to pass inspection (front brakes, cracked control arm).
Better than no IRK at all.
@medonsw Depending on your local laws, there may be a “workaround” when repairs are that costly to pass an inspection. You may want to ask a mechanic you trust to see what can be done.
@musmagic Thanks. I took a look online, but it doesn’t look like our state cuts anyone any slack on car inspections. We have to do it once a year. This car is 10 years old (with ridiculously low mileage), and the garage that did the inspection is where I’ve taken it for maintenance for the entire 10 years. This is the first time it hasn’t passed inspection and the first time it’s needed any major repairs. I wasn’t expecting it to fail the inspection, but I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. That being said, my husband says he’s going to look under the car tomorrow and he’d better see some shiny new parts.

Wow. What’s up with the IRK showing up so swiftly? I’m very impressed. Pics later, I have RV repairs to finish up.
For now: I received an IRK bag, a very long microUSB cable (Bungee brand I think?) a pair of all synthetic women’s socks (size: Sasquatch) and a FrenchFry 3.7qt air fryer. Appears brand new in opened box. Still has the protective film, packing cardboard and tape in place. It’s a bit larger than the last air fryer I received, which is perfect! Now I can stack the little box on top of the big box in my storage room.

So, got my I.R.K. which was somewhat disappointing because I got exactly two items, both BRAND FRAKKING NEW!
I mean, cool and all… who can’t use another bag, especially a bright orange one that is larger than the average such bag. Yay!(ish)
But now I have four sous vide cookers (three new in box) and three slow cookers (one new in box)… or maybe it would be better to say I now have have 3.5 sous vide cookers (2.5 NIB) and 2.5 slow cookers (0.5 NIB).
But where is the fun of getting a bunch of items (or even ONE FRAKKING item) that are(is) possibly(probably!) broken and/or used? Shit that actually has to be tested and might damage something during that testing? And the funky weird stuff that someone (who is much stranger than I am) might actually want?
It is lucky that I already have five or six huge boxes of such crap from previous BOCs, fukus and fukos or else I wouldn’t be able to participate in the next Mehxchange.
Anyways… enough ranting (I know… not a real rant… barely even a real complaint… others of you are so much better at ranting than I am.*)
So I got the bag (you can see part of it in the picture below… or in any of the other pix from people who got the same frakking bag).
Plus I got a brand spanking new, never-even-removed-from its plastic bags, Hamilton Beach Professional Sous Vide & 6 Qt Slow Cooker:
Cool! In addition to being brand new, it is Professional! (Does this mean I have to fucking pay it for slowly and/or sous vide-ley cooking food?!!)

Mine arrived today. House has 3 young adults. They opened it before I even got into the room. Pair of queen sheets headed straight to washer, claimed by son. Pair of wireless earbuds reminiscent of Apple design but without visible manufacturer claimed by daughter. JBW watch in rose gold claimed by other daughter. I got the IRK bag and Meh travel mug. No pictures, because I didn’t get to see any of it long enough to take one. (If there is a next time, I need to ask Post Office to hold it so I get the thrill of opening when the kids are away!)
1 x purse set (two smaller bags inside) - the main bag has a broken strap that can’t be easily repaired because it was something metal that broke. It cam with a shoulder strap, so a person could just cut all the hand straps off and use the shoulder strap.

As one who received several really great fukos in the past, I must say that I truly Regret this Irksome Kit, my very first IRK!
I don’t know these 'toon characters, but the glasses are really ugly; I’m allergic to both valerian root and to soy; I don’t know anyone who could even theoretically use these drug test kits; I could have used/gifted literally any size socks except “XL”; I guess the gift bag will get used; and I now have an IRK bag to add to my collection. Extremely Meh. Well done, very well done. I’m almost sad, lol.

Here it is one day early or two days late depending upon how you look at it. Anyway, I am tickled purple. I love this Chromebook (CB35 - B3340). It is full HD 1080p and has Scullcandy speakers. Hey, do I sound like a techie?
Yeah, it’s getting a little long in tooth (kinda like I am), but when they made it, it was one of the bestest of the best. I charged the battery, started it up, and updated the Chrome OS. Works like a charm. And that screen – the color pops! The speakers? Oh, wow!
Thank you Meh, I don’t know what else to say. Oh yes, I do. This is the second Chromebook that you have sent me. The first one was in the Kickstarter Fuku, 5 years ago. So… I think you will owe me another one in 5 more years? Wouldn’t want to break my string of getting Chromebooks, would you?

Wow. There is like an IRK level #1, where you get (at least) one thing that might, possibly, have some value (iff you need/want the thing,) and IRK level #0, where the best thing is still of no value. As a recipient of an IRK level #0, I just want to say, congratulations to those of you who received an IRK #1 or better. From myself, representing level #0 (or below,) I’d just like to say FU, Meh. We got what we paid for, or less. Assuming the new Pumpkin Bag is worth $5. However, for those of you who scored a great deal, good for you. For me, personally, I’ve about had it with you, Meh. And not because others received useful or interesting things in their IRKs, but because Meh has become, well, kind of boring. And my IRK didn’t do anything to make this whole experience more interesting. This is the first “mystery” purchase that actually caused me disappointment, in all these years. Nothing I want, nothing I need, nothing I could trade with anyone else for something more interesting, nothing I’d even be willing to donate to charity. This was, truly, the essence of Meh.

Kinda like when I start my Christmas wrapping and then what happens about the time I’m wrapping the 20th item.

Sonic toothbrush with 8 extra heads, 17-piece knife set with cutting board, a Milan purse - my three-year-old loves and thinks she’s a fashionista now, a fast wireless charger, Bluetooth headphones and the pumpkin bag. It’s made by True and Tidy. I checked the shipping box (which was the manufacturer’s shipping box) and the retail box. It’s just the steam mop. Doesn’t look like it was opened and resealed, so not sure what happened with the rest of it. I guess they screwed up ?

All in all, not a bad haul. The headphones have okay sound, and good isolation, so they’ll probably become my new airplane earphones. I’ve been meaning to pick up a cheap qi charger for a while, so that’s perfect. And the purse means that the wife’s on board the next time I want to buy an IRK! The only thing I don’t have a use for is the drone battery.
I guess the regret you guys promised me will come in the next one…

Earlier this month, a round of 32 matchup by @cinoclav prompted me to talk about my rock pillows, which led @narfcake to give me the tip about washing and drying them. So I finally decided to take that step into the unknown. And so, while I was opening my IRK, I had a second project going. And here is proof:

Actually no regrets…needed to order new feather pillows as one of my current ones has sprung a leak…although hubby made sure they didn’t stay clean long because he put them on the bed without covering them and the wet princess came in with muddy paws and laid right on the fluffy spot…coworker got a phone stand, and I put one in a mug, works great! Almost afraid of what will happen now…

I was on vacation when it arrived so I finally opened it today. Lucky me. At least the IRK bag is nice.

Arrived Friday 7-19. Got a little excited when I picked it up off the front porch! It was heavy- like a 20 pound bag of potatoes heavy. On top was the Orange IRK bag, 2 purses, a 24 piece makeup kit, Clawz kids shoes, a cat collar, a men’s Stormtech jacket, and… a Gotrax Hoverfly eco hoverboard! A hoverrboard that looks like it was dropped over Hover Dam The only area that is not scraped, scratched, abraded or broken are the rubber footpads! It looks like someone took a grinder to it! Obviously there are no instructions, charger or cords etc… I have received used items before from MEH but this is extreme! I always give this stuff away anyway, but this is just IRKsome!!!

There are just too many posts here to see if anyone else’s matched mine but somehow I doubt it. I got the notification of delivery yesterday and got home expecting a nice average sized box, especially since we can’t see the dimensions anymore. I was a bit surprised at the huge box sitting there. Even more so when I went to move it a bit and found it was pretty heavy. Maybe it was a goat special delivery.
Took it inside, opened it up to find the following:
One crappy set of Chinese earrings that at least someone else can use. Going to price that at $1.
One crappy elephant stamped cuff bracelet that once again someone else can use. Again, $1.
One Track n Guard dog collar. I guess I could use this, but I’d have to find the right person to use it with. Second option is to give it to someone with a dog. Sold on Morningsave for ? but generally retails for about $12.
It got a little more interesting with a Nixon Kingpin watch. Black with rose gold hands. Again, sold on Morningsave for ?. The only one online I can currently find being sold is on Amazon for $250. Which means it’s probably worth about $70. It’s actually pretty nice and I’d wear it if I find the need to wear an analog watch. As it is, my Apple Watch gets worn daily.
Finally, I really didn’t expect the box to match the contents. But, there it was, an LG OM7560 1000W RMS Hi-Fi Entertainment and Karaoke System. Last sold here for $174 but still available online for as much as $469. The bottom rear of the cabinet is a bit banged up like it was dropped pretty hard. But, I plugged it in and it started right up. My phone connected via bluetooth with no problem. I started up some Rush and turned the volume and OMG, this thing cranks out some sound. I’m yet to find out if absolutely everything on it works but for now, it’s the biggest, loudest bluetooth speaker I own. There’s a neighbor two houses away with what I assume are teenagers that like to have the occasional loud parties late into the night. I’m thinking the next time I have to listen to their shitty music I’m going to haul this outside and crank up some counter-tunes like Rachmaninoff.

My IRK came in a box for a Breville Nespresso Vertuo Coffee and Espresso Machine Bundle with Aeroccino Milk Frother, and actually contained that. Box was super damaged, but the Nespresso machine looks fine. Will check it tomorrow for operational capabilities.

I did regret it instantly, I truly did.
So my irk arrived last week. My the postal worker dropped it off she said the box had been opened when they received it. I was beginning to worry about what IRK goodness may have gotten lost in the abyss. I was quick to learn that whatever may have been lost was well worth losing. THANK YOU MEH!
I don’t have pictures of everything because some of the contents got snatched up and others were dangerous and had to be disposed of. I received:
1.10,000 mAh pogo power bank (exploded and leaking everywhere)
And 1 foodsaver vacuum sealer, customer return, but appears to work.
Other than the exploded battery pack which made everything else be covered in slash smell like battery acid, it wasn’t too bad.
Mine arrived last Thursday, but finally gathered the family up to join in the fun opening this. Pretty large box (to hold one of the items) plus some smaller items floating around inside.
I have seen some much better ones above, but also much more regrettable!
Overall, pretty happy with this IRK.

Finally got mine. The USPS allegedly tried and failed to deliver it, but they never notified me or gave me one of those slips or anything. It’s a good thing I checked the tracking info before August, or it would have been sent back!
I don’t have a receiver or much desire for a 5.1 setup, but I do have a soundbar I could plug the subwoofer into… but even then I need to figure out wtf to do with the other speakers. No idea if it’s actually missing parts, or what parts could possibly be missing.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a boc/fuku/irk before, but this one seems to have lived up to the hype: getting a big semi-expensive item that I personally have little use for. Although it wasn’t instant, the extra work it’s given me has left me with some regret, so it’s done its job. Thanks Meh!

well… i finally got around to opening the self balancing scooter i got in the irk. unfortunately, i think it was a return. when i plug in the charger, there’s a small click sound. i left it charging for a couple hours, but it doesn’t want to turn on. maybe i’ll take it apart this weekend and see if i can figure out what’s going on.
