I have routinely used mine to blow off the deck for my riding lawn mower after a session in the yard. It also gets used to blow leaves/flowers off the pavers around the pool to keep them from getting into the water.
I even keep a small “hair dryer” style one in the front closet to blow off the porch on occasion, especially in the fall.
Of course, my house sits in the middle of about a one acre lot, so it’s not like it’s right next door to anyone.
I live in the middle of a PNW forest - read: lots (and lots!) of leaves in the fall. I put out a big plastic tarp and rake the leaves on to it, then drag it over to dump them on the compost heap. I can do the job manually as fast (or faster) than my leaf blowing neighbor, without the noise, fuel and exhaust.

ALL of my yard/garden equipment is cordless electric now. Ryobi One+/40 volt for the win.
I generally just suck mine up with the riding mower which has the benefit of shredding them into the bagger & makes them break down faster. They get used to mulch the garden over the winter.
I use the leaf blowers strictly to relocate leaves etc off of hard surfaces. Would never even consider using it in the grass.
Works well and quickly on light snow on cars, stairs, sidewalks and driveways.
