@Tiamat114 Thank you everyone. I snagged 1 of the lone rider bags, but I was sort of hoping. The item I was interested in that was $40, and it would have been cool if it was included tbh. It was like, after midnight, and I was sick, exhausted, and hadn’t been able to sleep, so yeah, it was a dumb question in a way.

I had noticed some items were in multiple categories, and I wasn’t sure if I had found it outside the category, but it was also in one of the categories and I missed it, if it would have counted. A closer look only shows it only outside, so I’m glad I didn’t buy it, though I do/did want it. I’m just going to not buy it in the end, since I don’t feel pressured, I already got just a bag, and I don’t get any extra benefit from buying it now (with an extra $10 purchase).

I did get excited for a second due to an Ember clone mug that is supposed to keep your coffee warm. Unfortunately, it only keep the coffee to about 80 degrees. Just a bit warmer than room temperature.

@Telanis I liked the spicy ramen and re-got some of that for this IRK. The protein powder is okay (good price meh flavor). And there were some dessert-snack-protein-balls that were good which may not be the same kind as the ones that are there now (the flavors are not the same so I didn’t re-get any of those for my $50 order - the good ones had a hazelnut flavor, the ones that are there now already sold out of the “not all the same uninteresting flavor” flavor).

@jcpseattle I haven’t tried them, considered getting f them got myself, I thought “oh, a 90-100 (can’t remember specifically) calorie snack, and it’s “healthy and good for me”, but then upon looking closer saw that they are only 24gms each (less than an ounce) I could see me eating 5-10 of these and then realize I’ve eaten almost a whole meals worth of calories and I’m still hungry! So I passed.

@bynko Assuming that you have purchased $49.99 (or more) in Side-Deal-O-Rama items (NOT including shipping and tax), then the refund on the IRK will happen manual-automagically at some point, as the staff gets the IRKs shipped and the purchases matched up. You could have the IRK in your hands before the refund is processed, though. This is a bug, not a feature.

@k4evryng @lonocat Oddly enough, I kept trying to buy the leet one, and it kept recycling back to the same place again without ever actually trying to go to the sale completion. 10 minutes later it was still the same way. Finally, I just gave up. When I checked again half an hour later, it was showing as sold out. I have to wonder if there is something broken about this old meh app that kept it from working, but I’ve bought other stuff via the app’s interface.

@noonant Hmmm, now I am stuck with an image in my head of a house full of old lesbians wearing large boxers fiddling with their wifi!

@noonant I had that one. If you don’t mind it blindly stumbling for six hours, completely out of your control, it might have a “manual” mode. (That is, once fully charged, even without Wi-Fi and the app, you can power it on and let the bot roam around to map the room. As these are meh bots, it may not actually remember the room for an efficient path next time, but it does get around.)

@pakopako we have one area rug upstairs and one carpet in a small room in basement. It arrived today and i am attempting to charge it…its a no go right now and also after getting it connected on app never goes to the part of connect wifi…just says somethings wrong with the wifi…it has not been told wifi name or password so right now the regret is hitting…if does not charge by am will turn over to customer service…maybe they got a bunch with bad batteries…anyone else struggling?

I never could get that far.
If you have a D8 of higher… then you will want to use the app on an older device as the app will not function on the more recent Android/iOS versions.
Wifi also has to be on 2.4GHz.

The Neato server connection is required for the vac to even function on all models D8 & higher. It should still be able to charge though (unless it’s already fully charged). The Neato brand is now a defunct company. Supposedly the servers are still active but it really seems like they may not be. I tried reaching out to their support but got no response which isn’t terribly surprising. If you can get it to work they are solid vacuums.

Agreed, logically it makes no sense.
It’s really an app issue.
If you can’t register the vac to their server (via app) it can’t even turn on to roam around mindlessly. You’re left with a vacuum that tells you to finish setting up in the app & the app can’t complete the setup. I haven’t given up on mine yet, I’ve only had it for about a month.
