I will clicky no more forever
35Hear me, my chiefs! I am done. I have achieved clicky symmetry. From where the meh-face now stands, I will clicky no more forever.
Of course tomorrow, after skipping a clicky, that symmetry will be hidden away, fading into perpetual oblivion. I will know, however, I didn’t quit, didn’t fail, but rather selected the optimal moment to cease the clicky.

You have reached the zen of clickyness. It is better to leave a clicky un-clicked than to clicky once too many
Love this.
But how will you withstand both habit and temptation?
@f00l I tried once before when my stats were a palindrome. I immediately failed that same evening. It was a mehrathon. My no-clicky streak lasted exactly 5 minutes.
But during the last mehrathon I overcame the Pavlovian Clicky Response (PCR) and managed to resist for all but the first clicky of the evening. I’m confident I’ve mastered the PCR.
/8ball Will I succeed in defeating PCR?
Signs point to yes
@f00l @ruouttaurmind
You’re gonna click by accident one day. Mark my words.
@f00l @ruouttaurmind @sammydog01 accident or temptation…
You’ll always see that button and a little voice in your head will say “click it… Click it… No one need ever know”.
Truly you are the most superior of clicking clicky people
That’s pretty amazing… You have reached the pinnacle of clickiness!
I think you reached perfect clicky symmetry at 1600 clicks/800 in a row. Followed closely by 2400/1600 (but which is also perfectly asymmetric).
Of course, on your current track, you’ll have cool numbers at least every 100 days. Like 3100/2300 - two primes times 100. Or 3200/2400 -cool at multiple levels.
It’s a clicky conundrum.
To infinity and beyond!
@mehcuda67 I’m glad someone did the math. I knew there had to be numbers that were more aesthetically pleasing.
@mehcuda67 I was just thinking the same thing and I went to comment and found that you already did (and probably better than I would’ve).
How many clicks can a meh clicky click if a meh clicky could click clicks?
@Brasssong I think you need to type that three times, fast!
@Brasssong @mehcuda67
ok…
that that that
I stopped clicking when my daily total reached 69. Heh. I still click every day, but I don’t care as much about missing a day now and then. I’ve been a member for 1500+ days and clicked over 1400 times.
That’s not perfect symmetry. Symmetry would be if your clicks in a row were half the total clicks.
You need to get up to 6000 with 3000 in a row to finish it off.
Many ancients though in several cultures considered the number 12 to be the perfect number… So perhaps you should go to 12000 and end with a 6000 in a row streak.
Or maybe I’m being unrealistic considering 1700 is pretty darn impressive and I can’t best 257 without it not registering a click one day… Lol
Very nice. It really is nice to not have that hanging over your head.
Thank you for relieving me of the burden of even trying.
Good Jesus Gravy. Well done!
@UncleVinny Vinny! Where have you been lately? Are things ok? I was getting worried.
@moonhat What this site needs is more @UncleVinny. And less other stuff.
@moonhat @sammydog01 awww you guys are nice.
I’ve been busy staring at the wall and rubbing my temples.
How 'bout you?
@moonhat @UncleVinny Playing Animal Crossing.
@moonhat @sammydog01 I’ve been kind of tempted to try Animal Crossing, but I worry it would destroy a month or two of my life the way Stardew Valley did.
@moonhat @UncleVinny I have Stardew Valley queued up for when I get bored with Animal Crossing. And that took over a year each of the last versions.

Day 1. Temptation is high. Clicky face calling to me. Must resist. Must not clicky. I think it’s looking at me. The face. It’s looking right at me. And laughing.
@ruouttaurmind how did you do?
@RiotDemon No more clicky. Although I did have a close call last night. And I do miss the clicky-face calendar which greeted me with cheer every visit for 5-3/4 years.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Read em and weep…
