I’m in the “never chew” group. I did as a kid, in which case it was, I think, Bazooka, Double Bubble or another I can’t remember now. An d there was the gum with the baseball cards, Topps I believe.
I chew gum just for the heck of it. Maybe because of fidgeting anxiety. Maybe because I’m bored. Maybe because I like the flavor. Sometimes I feel like snacking, but not actually hungry, so I might chew gum then.
used to, then was grinding my teeth at night / TMJ, quit the gum, started grinding less, never looked back. also have decided people look gross doing it (sorry!)

I naw on pretty much any thing. I have got away from gum. Pens/ Pencils are cheaper as they are given away.
All my meds cause dry mouth. Gum is the only way I can talk
