Ha ha just kidding. But I did once know a guy who shaved the outside of his nose. it was weird by the end of the week because he has stubble on it. Super nice guy though.
I have a nose trimmer at home, but I’m almost always at work when an overlong nose hair starts driving me nuts, so I pull out my Leatherman, and half the time it’s one of those tear-jerkers, too.
The uncomfortable moment when I realize that I’m using my nose hairs to judge whether or not I’ll fit through an opening…
I would prefer to tweeze…I really would…but those white nose hairs of mine seem to have the root system of a baobab, and I don’t often get more than three or four before I start weeping uncontrollably and have to scamper off to finish the job with my trusty Norelco electric nose-tickler.
True fact! 47% of average nerves route through nose hair follicles.
That’s why, when you’re yanking out those tiny little bastards using tweezers, the sensation is equivalent to a leg amputation. And they keep coming back, because they’re evil.
@Pamela I agree in a sense, but I do trim my nose hair. If I don’t, the ones on the right side have a tendency to catch snot and that shows. So i trim those regularly.but the hairs themselves never migrate outside the nose.
Maybe my Greek heritage, but shaving for me involves basically carving a face-sized opening in my facial hair, and then going back and sawing off the individual nose hairs. Usually need to replace the razor every 2-3 cutting minutes. Takes hours. And it all grows back by lunchtime anyway.
@awk I’ve always wished I could grow a decent beard. I’ve tried to grow one a couple of times, but it’s just thin and scraggly. I still have to shave though
lol
We were just talking about this like an hour or two ago…
(I dealt with mine when I trimmed my beard on Sunday afternoon.)
Never because it stays inside my nose.
My hair just kind of falls out sometimes, so if my nose is itchy I usually just yank a bunch out.
Becoming more and more frequent
On the inside or the outside?

I yank some out every now and then when it gets in the way while picking it.
Norelco imports a nice trimmer that is washable and works. Good for ears too.

Does braiding count?
I never really considered tending to my nose hairs before. I guess this will be something else to add to my list of things to be self-conscious about.
I hope this is a hint that you’ll be selling nose hair trimmers. I’m on record as having requested them in the past.

Usually when one starts fighting with a mustache hair.
Never because I’m not a man. Women’s nose hairs don’t get out of line and therefore don’t need trimming.
@Pamela I question the validity of your theory.
@awk Inexplicably hot.

@awk I’m Lebanese. I feel your pain.

@jestermx6 Didn’t read the link and was expecting a link to really weird amazon home services offering.

@jestermx6 The two pack is for those who can’t do math. $12.49 for 1, $29.90 for two?
Since its the only place I can grow hair, I just let it go…
