@Ignorant The toffee bar thing, it’s bloody awful now… After they stopped making it with Heath bars it’s just disgusting and inedible. I used to love it, but now I hate it. WHY??? WHY DID THEY DO THAT TO ME??? BASTARDS!!! Hope they burn in hell.
@metageist The coffee shop I frequent uses ice cubes made of coffee in their cold brew, so as not to water it down. It’s like a magical auto-refilling coffee.
I’ll start drinking it at whatever temperature it is when I drink it, but warm is best for me- I like to be able to drink rather than sip. I’d take room temperature over cold/iced or very hot though.
@PantHeist when I get it, not drink it. I also only drink it when I’m exhausted and need to be alert, or on the rare occasion that I’m at a nice restaurant that has espresso for desert.
I am surprised how many are coming out and say they don’t drink coffee. I always feel I’m the only one not on the coffee train that runs everyone else over every day. Maybe next they’ll ask us how hot we like our spicy food and I’ll get to be an outlier on that one too.
I said I don’t like it, because by the time coffee is drinkable, I don’t consider it coffee anymore. The only coffee things I drink are Dunkin Donuts French vanilla coffee coolattas, and those Starbucks bottled vanilla frappuccinos. Those are pretty much milk and sugar with a splash of coffee. It’s rare that I get them at all.
I don’t really drink anything with caffeine anymore, which is awesome because if I do need something to keep me awake, caffeine actually works. I had built such a high tolerance to caffeine, (thanks Mt. Dew) it didn’t affect me anymore.
I have to drop an ice cube in a fresh cup to get it down to “sippably hot”. Meanwhile, my wife brews a cup from the machine and immediately puts it in the microwave for another 30 seconds. I don’t understand how she still has taste buds.
Why wasn’t “the temperature of my car after it’s been sitting for two days” an option? Aged to perfection.
@jbrookebarrow is this sitting in a car in Texas summer or sitting in a car in Boston winter? It makes a difference.
Left a coffee in my car and went shopping for an hour. Came back and it was hotter and tastier than when I left.

@serpent I’ve accepted it. I did feel that way at first though.

Did you guys lose all our answers?
@Ignorant Those are good, but this is better:
@serpent agreed
69.69 °C and not a hundredth of a degree more or less.
205 degrees
Whatever temperature a chocolate covered coffee bean is? I guess that’s the only kind of coffee I like, though I stay away from caffeine when I can.
Cold brew? No ice though ew

@brhfl Ooh that sounds like a good idea to try at home. I also just sometimes drink cold brew as a hot coffee too.

Supertasters unite!
@katbyter I don’t really like anything spicier than medium chicken wings.
@RiotDemon
I have been known to volunteer to drink Tabasco out of the bottle.
But I still like you anyway.
Have never had coffee in my life.
@PlacidPenguin If that can be called a life…
@nogoodwithnames
Well how are we defining “life” ?
Steaming hot.

@RiotDemon latte macchiato!
Lukewarm to ice cold. No hot coffee for me usually, but sometimes I’ll drink that too, depending on the mood.

@plastrd asbestos mouth and tongue?
@plastrd My wife, also, must have no nerves in her mouth. She does the same thing.
I don’t put an ice cube in mine, but I do let it sit for a couple of minutes to let it cool off just a bit.
Black as midnight on a moonless night.
“kid’s temp”
In front of me at some drinkable temperature.
