What they should do is have it so clicking buy gives you a random chance to be able to buy, one per account. @BillLehecka Screw it. Thumperchick has to feel empowered about something. Besides saving money on H1B visa programmers, not automating saves moderator jobs.
@mike808 Usually, there aren’t enough of them to disrupt the thread and require intervention, so automating something that almost never happens is going to waste more time for the devs than it took me to clean up. Also, my time doesn’t cost them anything.

@Thumperchick First, a person’s time is always valuable. Working for free at a charity is called volunteering. Working for free at a for-profit corporation is a crime, and called slavery at best, or human trafficking at worst.
Especially if you’re a woman or identify as one. Do your male peers work for free? Don’t sell yourself short. #workingwomenmatter
Second, my position was //against// automation, and for you having to patrol the comments, burdened with slavishly removing the /buy comments during a fuko. In fact, I did my part to ensure you had the ability to demonstrate yout value to meh corporate leadership. I’ll even add some extras to pump your numbers.

/buycommand.I give this a Meh. This makes me want to come to this site less. It’s exciting in theory, but when you don’t get to check Meh until the morning, it’s pretty bloody useless. What they should do is have it so clicking buy gives you a random chance to be able to buy, one per account. Maybe they could send out an email to people who win, so they can complete the transaction. That way people who aren’t checking Meh in the middle of the night or using bots to buy them have a chance to get one. The way it’s set up now, it’s pretty much worthless to me. So Meh on you.

@Bluedragon07 how did you do that? The video said that you could not and I tried multiple times…I was signed on in time. It took forever to navigate the website and I had no idea what was going on with the different links. It did actually take me to the next morning save page once, but still it was hard to tell what was happening and I didn’t realize there was a second video or a third at that point. Plus, it just seemed like that was the prize getting to that website and buying the various items there. Oh well…
@michaelgj2002 My phone was fine with the first video but after that I checked “request desktop site” and that allowed me to hit the links in the video. The first video said there was going to be three questions so I figured there was a video on each page until you got to the fuku one.
