Fukobukuro 12: Morning Addition AGGRAVATION THREAD (un-OFFICIAL)
4Since we have the official main thread, and unofficial threads dedicated to shipping and processing, why can’t we have another one dedicated frustration for all those who either regret purchasing one already, or are aggravated that they didn’t get it? (Besides, this may result in less aggravation threads, this allowing an easier way to read ask if the complaints/insults for those of us who enjoy watching people complain.)

I’ve NEVER gone shopping on Black Friday, although from what I’ve heard, the scenes are hilarious.
Meh. There aren’t enough available at 8 A.M. and 4 P.M. to make a difference in getting them at the midnight hour; you just have an additional microscopic chance to get them later on in the day, in case you were doing something or asleep at the time. I say keep the pause.

I applaud the Meh team for what they did yesterday. They could have just had them all available at midnight, but instead they gave chances to other people like on any other day to be able to try snagging the item.
(It was also a great test of the circuit breaker.)

It would be good for NPR. And so very tasty.
I would have successfully purchased, but was forced to enter my entire credit card number again, for no known reason. Is that a Fukobukuro thing, or a my-account-is-special thing?

Yeah, that’s a good idea. I’m still not sure how I feel about missing this fuko, since I was pretty sure I would because our internet is so crappy right now (don’t know why). And honestly the only reason I’m not filled with sour rage is because I went to Target to get a free Starbucks drink I somehow had through the cartwheel app, and then I bought some stuff, and even though everything I bought was clearance, the register spit out a $5 gift card for me. So, meh let me down, but Target basically gave me $10 today. And that’s OK.
But I did check my history and haven’t bought anything here since the birthday shirt, so I guess I’m aggravated that not only will meh not sell me a fuku/o, but they won’t put up any incredibly cheap as-seen-on-TV bundles or other irresistible garbage, which is the real tragedy here. Bastards.

@sp3ar I hit my refresh button at 7:59:59 so that by the time it refreshed it should be ready and it was. I hit Buy scrolled down checked that I was not a robot and also checked VMP and then made sure my payment info was right and hit Okay and watched the complete bar fill up a dozen times then tell me it was sorry, and then when I hit retry it told me sorry it didn’t know if I was a robot or not so I tried to refresh and it was sold out…
@sp3ar also my sister got her first one and she lives closer to a city with faster connection to servers… that hit me real hard
@sp3ar and here i rolled in a good 3 minutes after 11 (CST) clicked buy and got one. Suppose they split availability by time zones?

That depends.
If the threads you’re want to be aggravated at are the ones which are people complaining, then yes, because that’s kind of why I started this thread (to centralize complaints).
If you’re upset that threads are pushing the complaining threads down, then no, since people could now complain here.

Perhaps @parodymandotcom is using this thread to complain about pulling off “bagging a bag”.
If so, I deem, that post fits within the stated purpose of this thread.
But the original post in this thread says it includes folks who “regret purchasing one already”. I can’t stop envisioning 73 broken vacuums arriving at my door.
Tried all three times… Zero luck. (Kind of like preordering an iPhone 7 Plus.)

@sp3ar if you check your orders page and find there is no fuko, first breath a sigh of relief, then you will want to contact support and tell them.
or ya know keep it and get cheap shipping on that rad new bluetooth enabled knife with led flashlight they will be selling shortly…
So I checked meh.com at 9:01pm pst only to find out it was a fukobukuro day and it was sold out until 8am est. set my alarm for 4:57am pst and didn’t get it because of login error and/or credit card processing error (it was in my ducking cart!!!)… except when I woke up later that morning at a respectful hour, the order had actually gone through even though the error said otherwise! So…yay! I’ll be as disappointed as all the others soon.
