@sparkle_motion FedEx lies like a rug about weights and dimensions. Sometimes they update once or twice en route, but the revised numbers bear absolutely no resemblance to what you actually get. It’s all a guessing game.
2.2 is a place holder… once FedEx gets the actual package they will reweigh it and a new weight will show with the actual shipping weight… Usually happens at a HUB
@Conklaven The “usually” is the key. . last fuko took almost two weeks to get here and was not updated with weight until the day before delivery. (2.2lbs turned into 26lbs)
@Kirgen its by deign @shawn mentioned it in another post, they want everyone to recieve it around the same time, but they dont want to fork over $10,000 to fedex to make it happen

@jbartus so it turns out I was a bit optimistic with the low end of my estimate as it’s 9/27 and not due, but it is officially in MA as of an hour and a half ago so at latest I expect to see it Friday meaning I beat the 10/1 estimate! @rampantoctopus it appears they want it to arrive around the 1st for everyone. It usually takes 5 days for Meh shipments (TX to NC) to get to me, so expect mine to ship either today (Friday) or Monday.
Mine says 9-30 also, but it will be arriving via the Orlando FedEx hub. The packages always bug out for a couple of days to visit theme parks before they check back in to the Orlando USPO.

Hey! My Fuko’s weight finally updated from the 2.2 pound placeholder to 8.7 pounds! The bad news: it probably doesn’t contain a Roomba. The good news: at 8.7 pounds, it could still contain $78,996 in $20 notes. Or approximately 63 6.5-inch bully sticks for the puppies (“bully sticks,” I just learned are made out of beef “pizzle,” which is a euphemism for dried bull penis – Ewww!). Or it could contain the souls of 27 former Meh employees trapped within the confines of an enchanted hummingbird feeder.
Personally, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for those souls!
7.2 pounds. The anticipation is the best part of an otherwise underwhelming week. Its arrival on Friday will be the underwhelming jewel in the crown of this week.

Mine’s arrival date was pushed from 9/30 to 10/1 yesterday, which made me sad. But today it’s back to a 9/30 ETA and has increased from 2.2 lbs. to 4.6 lbs. A nice solid weight; I like it. Not too scary.
Mine is still 2.2#. The (slightly) odd thing is it specifically says it will be delivered by FedEx home and not USPS. Why would it say it’s NOT being delivered a certain way?
Maybe it is the size, weight, shape, or the area that you live in that makes it so the USPS cannot deliver it. Or maybe it’s something that might spoil like a quart of ice cream or contains hazardous materials that are prohibited in the USPS like lithium batteries. That is weird though.
Mine updated at 6pm that it’d finally made it to the Smartpost Hub in Concord (which means I expect delivery tomorrow because I can throw rocks at Concord from my front steps. Sometimes they deserve it. )

Mine was dropped at my USPS post office this morning, says delivery today by the end of the day. Its gone from 2.2lbs to 2lbs.
Mine went up to 3.5 lbs. An extra pound of goodness can never be too bad.

Mine’s arrival date was pushed from 9/30 to 10/1 yesterday, which made me sad. But today it’s back to a 9/30 ETA and has increased from 2.2 lbs. to 4.6 lbs. A nice solid weight; I like it. Not too scary.
Mine just updated to 4.8 lbs but packaging is still Package. And is at local distro center. Updated to Thursday delivery.

Still 2.2 lbs, but estimated delivery date changed from 10/1 to 10/4. It’s taken 4 days to make a 4 hour drive.

Apparently my Fuko will arrive today. That’s three days earlier than the original estimate. This will be my fastest Fuko yet!
Mine is still 2.2#. The (slightly) odd thing is it specifically says it will be delivered by FedEx home and not USPS. Why would it say it’s NOT being delivered a certain way?

Maybe it is the size, weight, shape, or the area that you live in that makes it so the USPS cannot deliver it. Or maybe it’s something that might spoil like a quart of ice cream or contains hazardous materials that are prohibited in the USPS like lithium batteries. That is weird though.

50 miles away and not scheduled to be delivered until Saturday.

Mine went up to 14.6 pounds. Has made it to town. Now will probably goof off at the post office for a few days.
Went up to 3.7 pounds and updated delivery to this Saturday. Where it is is less than 2 hours away though.
Mine updated at 6pm that it’d finally made it to the Smartpost Hub in Concord (which means I expect delivery tomorrow because I can throw rocks at Concord from my front steps. Sometimes they deserve it. )
It’s also now weighing 5 lbs.
