@michaelgj2002 Yeah, I was bummed I didn’t get one when my FiOS shit the bed (THANK’S VERIZON) so I was struggling through the page on my phone, which… well, simply didn’t work. Now I don’t think I mind… hell, I bought one of the $6 bags like a sucker, so at least I have that!

@smigit2002 I did the same thing. I was at the gym and tried for a good 20 minutes just to figure out what was going on. I somehow made it to the second website but didn’t realize that I had to watch the next video to proceed. I thought the fuko was a do it yourself fuko as the post stated. It was a waste of time really. Then I ended up showing up for the VMP round that did not happen.

I made the mistake of buying a bluray player for 120 bucks when it was fairly new. I think I paid similarly for a VCR years ago…lol…Only a few later both decreased significantly.

@djslack Seiki blu ray player needed batteries for the remote and tests fine with a DVD, I’ll find a BD to put in it later. It’s not a 4K player, but upconverts BD/DVD to 4k, which may be hokey. What it does do is allow my fiancee to bring home Redbox movies again when she feels like it. Sells for $90 and up online, and was $38 when it sold here. Score!

@djslack Also you can make the DVD part region free and switch the Blu-ray region on demand.

@craigthom Is there not a limited number of times you can switch the region code? I remember a DVD player from several years ago that was hot for a while because you could switch the region and it was cheap, but there was a 5x limit or something like that.

To answer my own question. Sanyo BR/DVD thing did not work. If you put yours away to regift try it first.

@khchin22 The S-1 skates are the adult size and sold here for $39 Cardiff skates (refurbished, as yours most likely are), $49 at Tanga and higher on eBay, so worth your cost, if you skate. (Or, you could sell on eBay.) My 19-y-o likes them; I prefer my inline pair. If you intend to use them, I recommend the extra straps ($20 at Amazon, when I got a pair) – they might keep you from leaving the skates behind when hopping up or down curbs.

I’d say you did pretty well, overall.

Actually that thing is worth nearly 80 bucks. You could probably sell it on ebay to the idiotically paranoid parent.
