I'm sure this has been covered before, but is the "button" a physical thing to pin on ones self, or a forum button, like the k, vmp, flask, goat, etc.?
@jsh139 actually, no, it wasn't. they are labeled upside down, with "open this side"printed on the "bottom" of the can, or something to similar effect. Couldn't Find a good Image online, but feel free to visit your nearest Grocery, and investigate the cans for confirmation.
My biggest issue with these drinks is they use non-standard liquors- I can't justify buying a bottle of something just for a drink here, but I can justify buying the food components because those are easily used on their own. @Matthew Can you have a drink that uses commonly available spirits/liquors such as: rum, vodka, brandy, gin, and coffee liqueurs?
I'm not drinking another one of these until I get my button.
Ditch the celery, use cranberry juice instead of sauce, go easy on the clove and you might just have something good.
I don't even understand what's going on anymore.
@phatmass I cannot believe how many entries there are in this series.

@earlyre Good question! There's one drink a few people made, but I don't see a badge yet...
@earlyre what's with the goat? I'm still trying to sort this madness out. But why do I keep coming back? Not sure I want the answer to that one.

I noticed this was made by our illustrious bartender but not sampled. How do we know it's truly terrible if it hasn't been tested for us?
@Cinoclav i don't think we have video evidence for most of these. "Do as I say, not as I do"
No way I'm tasting these, they look gross
@matthew Maybe you were that kid in school- "Go on eat/drink it, I dare ya!" "I'll give ya a quarter!"
@matthew Wuss! Err, I mean, have Glen taste test it!
@matthew how do they smell?
Left out an the bar overnight, this one imparted a lovely aroma to the room
So, no one's going to point out that the can of cranberry sauce was opened upside down? YOU KNOW, WE'RE LIVING IN A SOCIETY!

@earlyre knows what's up
SO TO SPEAK
@earlyre
Oh that looks hideous. Who eats celery? Yuck!
One day I will actually have all the ingredients for one of these things and I will get my worthless reward.
Wow....
Stuffing drink next? Maybe sweet potato.

A couple of them have had moderately exotic components, but the very first one used beer and vodka ( https://meh.com/forum/topics/drinking-terrible-with-meh-the-yellow-belly ) and last weekend's used applejack and red wine ( https://meh.com/forum/topics/drinking-terrible-with-meh-the-myles-standoffish ). There'll be others made with ingredients found in everyone's liquor cabinet, I'm sure. Even so, I advise against drinking any of these. I have a feeling they won't be good.
Oops, the Myles Standoffish was two weeks ago. But last week's had an equally common liquor component: gin ( https://meh.com/forum/topics/drinking-terrible-with-meh-the-bop-on-the-nog-gin )
@matthew The whole orange-stolen-from-a-child's-stocking thing was a bit of a showstopper- natural ice not so much.
@matthew Exactly my thought.
Why not gravy? It obviously needs gravy for flavor depth and complexity. And to melt the butter.
