I think I accidentally found a way to cheat, by using my slow chromebook’s touchscreen. It skips a lot and fills in the gaps with generated curves and I guess this confuses it.
@ircon96 Wait a minute! I just went to erase my screenshots & found a 99.2 that i ruined by trying to use the 3-finger screenshot shortcut… damn you, Motorola! Oh well, i guess it was all downhill from there… Story of my life!
@Kyeh I think you & @cardiganb has better ones, but that must be my inferior human eye. (Are you listening, bots?) But, sadly, I’ll never know what the 99.2 one looked like… <sigh>
I’ve got a fever of 99.2, and the only cure is more circle!
@ircon96 Are you sure you didn’t just catch a screenshot of an incomplete circle? As you draw the number keeps changing.
Edit: no, I guess not, I just tried stopping and it buzzed me. Huh.
@ircon96
I’m wondering how you got that high score!? Two hours later and I’ve got a sore shoulder, no sleep, burning eyes, and my mind is racing with circles!!
@ircon96@Kyeh
Lol If you’re talking about me 156% I have OCD and if I didn’t know it before I for sure know it know! And I’ve recently started playing solitaire on my phone, I just can’t stop!
@Kyeh I turned my kid’s power wheels car on its side and put the phone on the front wheel, centering the dot on the axle, then tried to spin the wheel and just touch my finger to the phone screen to make a perfect circle. But the centering was not completely perfect and I was moving enough that it was always just a mid 90s result. Maybe even variations on what part of my finger the screen decided to register would affect it.
Maybe I should try a driven wheel instead of spinning the front wheel by hand so I can be steadier.
And if I used a clamp holding a stylus or something, I might actually be able to get a completely perfect circle.
My best results were from just rapid fire whipping my finger around on the screen repeatedly. It’s wildly inconsistent but there are high highs to go with the low lows.
A 1.5" hole saw in a drill press with a stylus attached to it should also stand a good chance of getting it perfect.
@shahnm
Ut Oh, I’m back for round 2, I think it’s already a thing! I’m obsessed and my family members all have a link! Not a cruel bone in MY body. Tonight’s high score!
That was stupidly fun.
94.9% was my best, but the majority was between 80-90%.
Some good silly fun for a Friday. Considerably harder to do on a laptop than a phone for sure.
Huh. I think @cardiganb’s looks better than mine, really.
@Kyeh It just goes to prove how different humans & bots are… er, they are FAR superior, of course!
OMG
My circle is 92.4% perfect, can you beat that? https://neal.fun/perfect-circle/
Too many rules.
@yakkoTDI You’re such a rebel!
@ircon96
Fuck those rules!
My circle is 97.4% perfect, can you beat that?
/showme a 100% perfect circle
@mediocrebot Good bot, but let’s work on your spelling.
@mediocrebot Text by Google Autocorrupt
@xobzoo @werehatrack I thought it was Latin.

@awk It’s so wonky-looking!
@awk definitely cheating!
@awk @Kyeh Now try passing a sobriety test!
@awk Yeah that’s the craziest circle I’ve ever seen! No judgement here though, jus sayen!
Lol
Why did i click on this topic? I’m a masochist with OCD. Anyway, my best was 97.4. Now…i…must…stop.
@ircon96 That looks really good! Now I’m jealous.

@cardiganb @Kyeh *had better ones… You bots are so funny with your little autoINcorrections!
@ircon96 Are you sure you didn’t just catch a screenshot of an incomplete circle? As you draw the number keeps changing.

I’ll be back to try again later!
@ircon96 @Lynnerizer Sounds like someone else also has OCD … !
@ircon96 My circle is 97.3% perfect, can you beat that? https://neal.fun/perfect-circle/
@Lynnerizer So what you are trying to tell us is that you are going in circles???
@ircon96 @Kyeh
Lol If you’re talking about me 156% I have OCD and if I didn’t know it before I for sure know it know! And I’ve recently started playing solitaire on my phone, I just can’t stop!
There’s definitely a learning curve!
Feel like my 96.6 is better than my 97.2… not sure I’ll beat those
@OnionSoup
@OnionSoup Haha - love it.
I got 96.9 on my own (using iPad). But then I traced a cup and it was lower. And as seen by examples above I don’t think it’s very accurate.
Freehand (mouse). Good enough for me. I must walk away before this becomes a… thing.
This reminds me of Koopa Trace-Walking in Super Mario Odyssey.
Good enough! My circle is 93.3% perfect, can you beat that? https://neal.fun/perfect-circle/
I remember this. Looks more colorful. Also, really ha… maybe not as hard as I remember on a mouse.
My circle is 92.8% perfect, can you beat that? https://neal.fun/perfect-circle/
I thought I had a plan, but it turns out cheating is harder than just doing it by hand.
Edit: back to by hand:
@djslack Haven’t you heard… CHEATERS NEVER WIN!
@djslack What plan?
