Do you like it spicy?
5Your margarita… What did you think I meant?
Had a hatch green chili marg at the Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe yesterday. Was a little hesitant, but I do like spicy and especially all things hatch. Besides, the menu said it was the local favorite.
It was fantastic!

I am willing to try a spicy margarita.
@yakkoTDI The one I had was served with a lime wedge but the YouTube below shows it with a chili. I really liked the lime.
I don’t like Margaritas spicy. I don’t like Margaritas… Or tequila. I do like spicy things I’m general though and spicy booze sounds interesting.
But… Give me a gin and tonic instead. (Actually, recently discovered mixing gin and amaretto is amazing).

I drank half a bottle of the Jones Hatch Chili Soda a while back…it was…OK… kind of a spicy/peppery ginger ale…
@earlyre me either. Kind of surprised myself but i just had to try it. Despite the youtube recipe above from the restaurant, according to the restaurant website, they use hatch-infused tequila which they make themselves. In guessing they take a good tequila like Patron and do the infusion, vs distilling their own.
It was good enough that i may try my own chili infusion…
