@aetris@therealjrn My dog loved it. When the kids were little and some tidbit was launched from the highchair at mealtime, all we had to do was say “Erin, vacuum!”, and she was on it.
@aetris@macromeh@therealjrn I’m with you there. I am always amazed at the people that will swap spit with their dogs.
OTOH, letting the dog clean off my kid’s face saved me the effort, and as a bonus helped build up their immune system… plus if your dog is really special, maybe he can give your kids some super power…
I can never find an outlet when I need one. I mean, it’s like where are those things? They keep moving on me! One day they’re there, and the next day they’re somewhere else!
nice when you live in an old ass apartment with one outlet per room that you already have jammed with stuff. still, the charge not lasting at all is terrible.
I use one in my kitchen, but it leaves behind probably 10%. Carpet is closer to 20% left behind. Good for quick pickups though.
But I didn’t pay even half this price for mine.
Cordless sucks just not as much as corded sucks.
There’s a time and a place for that sort of thing…
It’s easier just to get a dog.

(Hi, @acraigl!)
@therealjrn - My dog HATES vacuuming.
@aetris It’s not a matter of whether they like it or not, but replacing the vacuum:

@aetris @macromeh A good doggy is absolutely essential when feeding the young’uns.
@aetris @macromeh @therealjrn… plus the bonus facial cleanup at the end.
@aetris @chienfou @macromeh I don’t care how nicely you put it, @chienfou. I’m not going to lick my dog’s face.

Fortunately, I don’t have carpet. I vacuum dust, dirt, and what the little kids drop. Swiffer does the rest.
Any cordless vacuum I’ve ever had barely held it’s charge. You would get maybe one room done and then it was done. Not worth it, imo.
They don’t suck.
@lseeber That sucks
@ybmuG Does it?

I need holes!

@ybmuG High Score!
Battery life is short and it takes 45 minutes to recharge…but dang my cordless vacuum really picks up the pet hair!

I just want one for the car … that works.
@JT954 Me too.
I want a cordless robot lawnmower. Meh oughta sell one of those!
@lseeber are corded robot lawnmowers even a thing??
@chienfou @lseeber Well, there are gas-powered ones. That’s technically cordless but not how we think of it.
@chienfou @lseeber Now here’s what I’m looking for!
@chienfou
@chienfou @lseeber That’s what they call there them redneck robits.
@chienfou @ybmuG Yup! I would just put a bigger stick so it didn’t overlap the previous path too much.
