@RogerWilco Yes! I had come here to say that. They need to do an edit an add several flask shirts in to today’s deal. There is plenty of time left for that. Of course I can’t afford to buy one right now… but still!!!
@RiotDemon I freaking LOVE my grail shirts! I bought 4 of these from Mediocratee (1 of each design for both my husband and me) and I wear them constantly.
And of course, every time I show someone (that understands what they are), an immediate launch into reciting lines from each scene ensues. I love it!
@RiotDemon my dogs do two things: shed terribly and completely lose their shit at the sound of a lint roller or, heaven forbid, a vacuum cleaner. It makes for fun times trying not to present their evidence to the world.
@Trinityscrew lol, just the little, quiet noise of the thing gently rolling across fabric gets em going. I don’t know if it’s the sticky noise or if the roller maybe has a high pitched squeak we don’t hear. Our collie is very vocal, and once she starts, the rest come join in.
Drones do it too. Sometimes peeling packing tape off the roll, though my wife ships a lot so that one doesn’t get them going much any more. And one we discovered not too long ago, we got some spray whipped cream and the noise it makes is apparently very upsetting.
@hchavers agreed, I’d own like 50 Meh shirts if they sold the tri-blend more often instead of the 100% cotton ones like these — they’re scratchier, heavier, and fit worse….
$12 a tee is too rich for me. Bring back some more $4 randoms. Although, when I received my three “Mediocritee” shirts, two of them were literal Meh shirts.
@riskybryzness
DTG is okay as long as you don’t have that old equipment that leaves them permanently sticky and smelling like salad dressing. You don’t, right? Please say you don’t.
I’m sure black t-shirts are the most popular, but I really wish there were more designs that were meant to be put on lighter backgrounds. And then they were put on lighter-colored shirts. Especially in summer, walking around in black shirts is extra-sweaty, and in the winter extra dandruffy.
@simtel20
In Meh’s defense, as a non-Meh-affiliated printer and seller of T-shirts with 29 years of experience at conventions, I can state that with few exceptions, when we try having shirts that are printed on a color other than black, this is what happens:
– “Do you have it in black?” (even when it was a design that only made sense on a specific other color!)
– “Ohh, I like it, but this is just not my color!”
On lights and brights, the “not my color” push-back gets even stronger. On white, add in the fact that people seem to expect that any printed T-shirt on white is going to sell for $7 or less, even when our wholesale cost from the supplier is up to twice that.
Yes, I’ve tried having choices of colors other than black on my own website, and black almost always outsells all of the other colors put together when that choice is offered. (Only navy blue ever comes close.) Yes, black shirts in the hot sun are not optimal. Yes, those of us here in Texas are well aware of this. But we are also aware that for the most part, what you want to wear outdoors in the hot sun is not a printed t-shirt of any kind, because that printing makes the shirt hotter to wear regardless. So we go with what people actually buy instead of what they often say they want (until we try to supply it). And that’s black.
@simtel20@werehatrack
So what you’re saying is that you don’t really know how many customers are in the “Fuck! I have to buy another fucking shitty black colored shirt because there is no other option” category.
Not everyone lives in the fucking Arctic. And I honestly don’t give a fuck about the dumbasses in Texas who are discovering their inner Goth. Just look at the fucknuts they send to their state legislature and to the US Senate.
@OnionSoup Only ONE extra zero? I think they made the same mistake in their order numbers as they did with trackers, claws, fidget spinners candy corn, bath neoprene sleeves…
@OnionSoup
Not bloody likely. Right now, trying to get the brand, quality, and size range of shirts that you need for production can be next to fegging impossible; all of the wholesale suppliers have huge holes in their inventory. Over-ordering will just result in bigger backorders.
@hockeyham The men’s shirts fit like the old American Apparel sourced shirt.woot shirts and are inline with their current “fitted” shirts, which are sourced from Bella +Canvas.
The women’s shirts are a petite fit and slimmer than the shirt.woot offerings.
@hockeyham the men’s seem to be closer to the correct size, but they shrink pretty significantly, so I ordered a size up for my husband.
The women’s shirts, on the other hand, run significantly small (which they do state on the size description). I like my t-shirts roomy and usually buy a L or XL in other shirts…but I buy 3XL in Meh shirts because of both the shrinkage and the fact that they are cut slimmer through the waist. It hurts my ego, but I’d rather have them fit the way I want. And I feel like the shrinking process makes the shirt a little thicker and softer.
I absolutely love these shirts! They are by far my favorite to wear!
I feel like since it’s on meh they should be discounted at least. Or give me the irk shirt that I stupidly didn’t buy during the mehathon, I’d defiantly buy that one.
@Star2236
Have you seen the prices on a lot of the other sites? $14 for designs that aren’t closeouts, on a decent-quality blank, is cheap. There are wholesale suppliers whose rate is at or above that, with 20-piece minimums. (I sell shirts at conventions. I wish meh could sell me some of these at a discounted price, but you are already getting it.)
@werehatrack
Your right, I’ve ordered a shirt or two from other sites and the quality never compares, shirt is always weirdly sized or stinks real bad. And like you said you have to buy like 20 to get any kind of a discount or it’s just ridiculous to buy just one, and who needs 20 shirts.
MEH PEOPLE there’s one shirt I’ve been wanting you to bring back so I can buy it. I saw it when I first joined in like july? 2019. Its brown, has a bee on it and says busy AF on it. I can’t find it anywhere else and didn’t know then the shirts were buy now or forever hold your peace kind of a deal.
@narfcake@Spiritgreen
Oh thank you, I’ve been wanting that shirt for so long. Honestly meh shirts are better quality in my opinion and woot keeps changing their sizes so I have no idea which size I’m now.

What, teeing us off, again?
Pretty sure some of the best designs include a flask.
@RogerWilco Yes! I had come here to say that. They need to do an edit an add several flask shirts in to today’s deal. There is plenty of time left for that. Of course I can’t afford to buy one right now… but still!!!
Holy shirt Batman!
Wearing the grail (rabbit) shirt right now. I also already own the scratch and the space shirts. They are awesome.
POPSOCKETS! ROAD ROCKETS! SONNY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
@RiotDemon My Grail shirt is over there (me points to shirt) and I am currently wearing the Meh face shirt.
@RiotDemon I’m tempted to get the rsbbit shirt, but I already have so many Holy Grail shirts, it’s getting hard to justify another one.
Ever notice that nobody ever does Life of Brian or Meaning of Life designs? I wonder why.
@lisagd @RiotDemon I have no grail shirts but soon I’ll have one. I almost bought the rabbit one the first time, but now it’s on my order page.
@RiotDemon I freaking LOVE my grail shirts! I bought 4 of these from Mediocratee (1 of each design for both my husband and me) and I wear them constantly.

@awk another amazing movie.
Why do they all have to black?
@alose
/image always bet on black passenger 57

@alose Yeah some of us have pets. Give us another color. Maybe even just grey. I’d own a lot more of these if they weren’t black.

@RiotDemon my dogs do two things: shed terribly and completely lose their shit at the sound of a lint roller or, heaven forbid, a vacuum cleaner. It makes for fun times trying not to present their evidence to the world.
@djslack @RiotDemon
What kind of noise does your lint roller make? Why would it scare dogs?
Maybe you’re not doing it right. You’re not supposed to use the lint roller ON the dogs.
@alose @lonocat It isn’t cat hair. It’s cat glitter.
At least that’s my excuse.
@djslack @RiotDemon @Trinityscrew I agree. Also I like shirts with color even beyond the cat hair issue.

Everyone asks for new colors and when it’s offered, black still does best. What colors are you guys looking for or would prefer?
@Faffs I have 3 long haired cats and cat glitter is more than abundant in our home.

It’s too hot for black t-shirts.
@Enigma black t-shirts everyday, even in Florida.
If the people don’t have silk shirts, let them wear polyester.
@hchavers agreed, I’d own like 50 Meh shirts if they sold the tri-blend more often instead of the 100% cotton ones like these — they’re scratchier, heavier, and fit worse….
@hchavers bamboo t shirts is where it’s at. Best fabric ever
Would love to see that raining binary shirt return.
If only you had a site to sell shirts all the time!
Seriously? Over a month to deliver? Looks like that’s a no for my Houston con August 23rd
@venussuz I was super excited that I got to wear the Houston shirt when I was in Houston.
If only they had a t-shirt of the gorilla wearing the t-shirt…
$12 a tee is too rich for me. Bring back some more $4 randoms. Although, when I received my three “Mediocritee” shirts, two of them were literal Meh shirts.
@ponagathos that was the best deal! I’m waiting for that to come back too!

I’m pretty sure it’s on Amazon somewhere.
I like how the models pictured are static. You can’t be bothered to actually wear these shirts for the shoot…Can you?
@Bumplepimp …We print when ordered.
@riskybryzness
DTG is okay as long as you don’t have that old equipment that leaves them permanently sticky and smelling like salad dressing. You don’t, right? Please say you don’t.
@werehatrack Everything is screen printed and great quality, no salad dressing smells here.

How do these shirts fit? When I used to order off Woot I’d have to go up one size

What have I done??? Let the two teens see Meh and Mediocritee. They begged for new tees. Hmmm, leverage.
I feel like since it’s on meh they should be discounted at least. Or give me the irk shirt that I stupidly didn’t buy during the mehathon, I’d defiantly buy that one.
@Star2236 They’re $14 on mediocritee so this is discounted.

@Star2236 @werehatrack $14 is not cheap!
$6 is cheap

That said, I’m sure mediocritee is a much better quality.
@OnionSoup @werehatrack
They are that’s the tee I was talking about that the sizing being off. I got a shirt that fit more like a belly shirt.
@OnionSoup @Star2236 @werehatrack I actually have one from them…it wore out in about a year or so unfortunately.
@riskybryzness @Star2236 @werehatrack at $6 I’m surprised it lasted a year. I imagine $6 is beach-tee quality at best.
@Star2236 That would be @Spiritgreen’s Working Hard design.

@narfcake @Star2236 Thanks for posting the link, narfcake. Yes it lives on at Woot now.
