CD Boombox!
5I know meh doesn’t do requests, however I’ve decided to make one anyway. My however many years old CD boombox has given up the ghost. I probably wouldn’t have noticed or cared except that my daughter has recently discovered how to listen to an entire album. I don’t really want to spend a lot on what may be a passing fascination, but, I don’t want to replace it with a Harmoon Kardeshev or SSONY. So, mediocre friends, please sell me a halfway decent CD player. Thank you.

Would be nice if it plays cassettes, too.
@mossygreen Yes I have a bunch of those too… although I have a working Sony one that plays both.
Check your local Goodwill stores…

@PooltoyWolf that’s awesome. I’m just a couple hours away from you and our local electronics repair place went out of business years ago. Maybe I could pick your brain sometime with a couple issues I have regarding a crown amplifier and some speakers?

@nasman6 It takes a lot of practice and patience, but once you get there, it becomes second nature.
