Just a heads up, the company that makes these lights is now out of business. So the app isn’t available anymore on official sites and you’ll have to download it from a third party site.
@Gumbercules the light does still work and you can change the color settings manually all without the app. You just cannot do any fun stuff like syncing to music and whatever else it is supposed to do. We still like ours, but I need to hunt down the 3rd party app to see how much more we could like it.
@cbilyak@jeffreywsnyder actually I think the “controller” on the bottom left is the phone app. There is a dial on the back that you can turn to adjust brightness, push down on to change the different colors, or hold down to turn it off. That’s honestly how I use it the most instead of the app.
Not only is it not smart, the usb cube plug doesnt work-must be plugged directly into a USB port. The company is out of business; qr code on box doesnt work and the app linked above is for foreign countries.

@Gumbercules
That sucks, they made some cool shit. I bought these for my nephew and nieces a lot.
@Gumbercules @Star2236 I’ve been burned by app-controlled lights before. But I have several of their non-app lights that are fun.

@cbilyak @Gumbercules
It includes a remote control. Is the remote control useless without the app?
