Best things ever you have gotten in an irk?
7Although in irks (and fuko’s and foku’s) I have gotten a lot of junk, broken things, a couple of times boxes that were open and empty or nearly empty, items that were used and gross, and odds and ends that I have no clue what they were or go to, I have gotten a couple of things that I really like that I never could have spent the money on myself to buy when they were offered.
Although it came to me in zip lock bag (so a return?) and missing a strap part (but I have jury rigged a solution), I got one of those rectangular Libertone speakers. It’s pretty picky about pairing and sometimes won’t (I have to factory reset it a lot), but when it does work, like it is right now as I write this, it is the best speaker I have! Thank you meh so much!
Aside from that I have gotten some toys the littles have loved and a couple of other treasures that I gave as presents to family and my best friend! And those have saved me birthday and christmas present money. Thanks for that too meh! And the irk bags are nice.

I love many of the things I have received. Not all of them high dollar per say. I love the wireless headphones I got a while back. I can rock out and zone in the design. I also love love love the waterproof playing cards I got recently. I will only ever order those going forward. They’re amazeballs! Also love the plethora of Sophia bags because I think it’s funny giving grown ass men gifts in a princess gift bag.
I will say my top two though are from the Joe a thon IRK and another somewhere around there. I am pretty sure KHJ put them in there himself because I put his face on some things. The Jason mask and the zombies axis vs allies are by far my favorite things!
In case anyone forgot about the Joeathon (don’t think it’s possible because it was the best EVER!)
Thanks Meh crew! You guys really are fucking amazeballs!

@sillyheathen Those are too big for the ball sack that I carry mine around in.
Ive gotten a lot of stuff I like in my irks and stuff I shake my head at. Some stuff surprises me bc I don’t think I use it and then a couple months later I’m bringing it out to use. I save some stuff for Xmas presents and the rest gets saved for the years meh exchange and then donated. My most recent thing that I’ve been using that I’ve never though I would is a pair of queen bamboo sheets (we have a king) for when I stay over at my fathers house. The sheets are actually pretty nice.
I do remember my very first irk, it was a robot vacuum. I was so stoked. It was broken though and I could never get it fixed so I ended up trashing it and was very sad bc we have hardwood floors and I’m the live in maid.
The things I covet the most I think came in the same irk coincidently. My cuisinart mini blender (like a magic bullet or Ninja), it even broke and I sent it in to cuisinart and they sent me a brand new one. And my @koolhandjoe head. People have tried to buy it but I’m hanging on to it bc one day he’s gonna be famous.
@Star2236 don’t know about famous but sure appreciate the kind words.

robot vac , it works, food saver, and cuisinart coffee pot. Not in one Irk, over a Looooooooong time and many missed irks. Irk Bags always a winner.

a bag.
@bmf Yeah, so far, the bag has always been the best thing in any of mine. If they forget to include it, I might as well ask for my money back.
Best item?
The IRK badge from the birthday
Also:
A huge Shark Navigator vacuum.
It worked much better than the vacuum we had.
The IRK failed to disappoint me!
Then I found out that the swivel was cracked. So I glued it, then bought some cool plastic repair putty and molded a very strong additional support for that part. It’s stronger than new now.
Still going great.
Thank you, Meh and Irk!
P. S. Never managed to snag a single Fukubukoro.
Definitely the scooter.
Of course it was broken, but that just added to the fun.
Also a stainless Cuisinart pan set that went to a granddaughter.
Despite repeated attempts, I’ve never gotten an IRK. @ReplicaCobra is responsible for this travesty.
@njfan With only 25 IRKs at a shot now-think my IRK days are gone and I’ve gotten close to 30. I guess better to have “loved and lost than never to have loved at all”.
I got a Libratone Zipp Mini 2 in a recent one that was missing its charger. It was priced at around $170 for the speaker most places I looked and the charger was $13 on Amazon, so I ordered it. I now use it all the time because it’s got great sound quality and a surprising amount of bass.
Maybe 9 months ago, I received a foot massager in a box that looked like it had gone through a few war zones en route to me, but it works without issue. Meh has sold them a few times since, so I’m sure this just was used for a pickup game of soccer in the warehouse.
Finally, years ago I received an Ecovacs robot vacuum with a bad drop sensor. I contacted their customer support on a lark and they actually swapped it for a slightly newer model, which I gave to my kids’ daycare provider because she’d said she wanted one for years but could never convince her husband to buy one. It worked great until they got two puppies, and I think you can imagine what it ran over and got into every crevice, shorting it out.
Instant regret? Anyway, it has been so long since I have nabbed one, hard to say beyond faded memories. Bring back VMP hour!!!
This thing is awesome, but sadly, it’s at a friend’s house because ワイフ said I couldn’t keep it.
He decorates it for all the holidays, you can see it’s very festive.
VAN MURALS! GROUND SQUIRRELS! SPIT CURLS! AWESOME!
a full new in box ninja blender/food processor/etc system
