But for realsies, earwax is at least partially antimicrobial, so (when healthy) it should probably not smell as much as many other areas of our bodies. However, I have not studied it, nor do I care to. (and “less odor” ≠ “no odor”)
Also worth mentioning that we often can’t detect our own odors as much as others’, so “my own earwax doesn’t smell” may not be a meaningful data point.
And here I am rambling on about something that doesn’t matter. Maybe it bothers I care about it more than I should.
