I sure wasn’t expecting to see this headline, it made me “WTF” out loud. Today of all days. Then I realized. I had asked for a sign. A sign from Above, beyond the Rainbow. This was it!!
Thanks @shahnm. Today will be a little lighter. Even with the cats thing
We rescued Duke in September 2020 as a senior at 10 years old. No clue on his backstory but he had had a home. He was wearing a GATOR collar of all things . Sacrilege!! But I let him keep it since it was his. He developed uncurable degenerative myelopathy last year and it was time to let him go.
Sorry for pissing on your humorous thread. But I really wanted to tell everyone without making a separate thread. And I don’t do the blame/unblame thing so…thanks again. Love you guys 🫶
@llangley God bless you and Duke, may he roam the Green Hills waiting patiently, and enjoying himself until you meet again in the distant future.
You’re special people for loving him [despite the Gators collar].
What a distinguished-looking gentleman he was too.
Thank you for sharing his story.
Damned straight
I see nothing but truth here.

@llangley I am so sorry. Tough to lose a pet and that leaves such a hole in our heart.
@llangley So very sorry!
@llangley so very sorry about Duke. glad he was able to live out his years with love in the wonderful home you gave him!
@llangley Oh, I’m so sorry you lost him after such a short time, but I’m certain he had the best possible 3 years with you.
@Kyeh @llangley Lost a fantastic granddog this time last year. Still miss him! So sorry for your loss!!
