@lilpaox it can’t be part of the recall. I believe that is illegal. However, the whole incident with quality control might make you second guess buying their products.
@catcakie Or are they flopping there, too? To be fair, a few folks have reported that their dogs adore them. Let’s hope that enough of those users are around (and in need of more dog treats) to exhaust the supply completely. These things are still way too pricey to feed to chickens on purpose.
@werehatrack It’s an organic, more bioavailable form of the trace mineral selenium, produced by a certain species of yeast. As compared to other forms/sources of selenium which are inorganic. That’s the nerdy definition; wish I had something more cheeky for you!
I just got a puppy, he’s about 11 weeks. Can someone clue me in, this any good for training? Decent deal? He likes duck. He hates the apple/carrot treats.
@qazxto Well, they’re rather perfectly sized if he’s a bit on the larger side. If he’s a teacup something-or-other or general lapdog size they may be big even for a pup.
@qazxto We clicker-trained our first dog with Cheerios. I’d come to understand that smaller treats were better and Cheerios worked out great for the training. (I think we also used cat treats since they were small, too.) Not sure what was going on in our second dog’s brain because he didn’t seem to respond to any kind of treats for training.
@Pufferfishy
My Max says the same thing! Mind you, hes a husky/wolf hybrid so pretty much everything is fair game for him!
Was hoping for a Buldak Christmas, though…maybe a Buldak new year!

I prefer my dogs to be chewy.
Might be part of a recall from the vendor.

@adamwesv @lilpaox From the Victor come the spoils?
@lilpaox The product list doesn’t show any treats listed.
@lilpaox @Pufferfishy Here’s the link to the vendor’s page with the complete list of UPCs involved; these two ARE NOT listed.

So, is meh just cycling through random products from sidedeal? I’ve seen these treats on sidedeal for a while now

Meh… was hoping for something cool for my 60th birthday
@jmhsrv happy birthday!
@spiffchili Thank you! Daughter brought home COVID for my birthday, so here we are lol…
My dogs wouldn’t touch this the last time I bought it.
@AaronLeeJohnson makes sense when it’s mostly grain & carbs
WTF is “Selenium yeast”?

I don’t have a crunchy dog, so I’m out…
/showme penguins viciously attacking people using crunchy treats
@mediocrebot Deadly Flying Assault Penguins FTW!
/showme giant evil penguin attacking New York

Got these last time - so far Max approves.

At first glance, I thought these were beef jerky for humans! Minus the texture, might accomplish the same thing.
My dogs liked these a little less than dog biscuits, and they don’t like dog biscuits.
First ingredient: sorghum. A grain grown to feed livestock. Not a part of a natural canine diet.
