@Fodder650 Yeah that came up last time “blackout” curtains were offered here (not these). In the question of why they were called that, it’s not to prevent light from getting IN, it was to prevent light from getting OUT of the window, which would show the enemy planes where the town was to bomb. Remember no GPS those days…
@Fodder650@pmarin Fun fact: there is a German town called Konstanz that is right on the Swiss border. During WWII, they kept their lights on at night to make the allied bombers think it was part of Switzerland and thus avoided most damage. Many old buildings, churches, etc. remain intact. Lovely place.
@TBoneZeOriginal Yes, but quantity is one thing size is another, they are selling 4 that are 38 inches wide and the ones on amazon are 52 inches wide (even if it’s 2 packs of 2). Yes, you are still paying less per inch, but it’s not as much as it looks like if you just compare quantity, was all I was saying.
Not a huge deal, but usually the ‘similar’ products are at least the same size.
