2nd bar codes on shippments.
14Today after well over a year of receiving packages from meh I was embarrised.
My work place has a central mail room l, much like othe places, that receives ups, fedex, and usps. Most of the time fedex, and ups get delivered by the carrier directly to us. Sometimes ups and fedex get delivered by an in house person. USPS always gets delivered to my building mail room and requires us to sign for packages so they are not liable. In reality we are not suppose to have personal shipments but bribes never hurt anyone.
Anyway today the mail room used it's UPS/FedEx gun to scan my meh package. How ever they didn't scan the delivery barcode. They scanned the package confirmation bar code. Now I would not have guessed that this little handheld computes would be able to read this bar code, but it did. I had to explain myself and open the package in front on the mail room staff and supervisor to prove I am not some sick pervert. BTW my order code was ravishing-passive-sheep
Lesson learned make sure to block the lower bar code or else...

Wait, so when they scanned the lower bar code, they got ravishing-passive-sheep ?
@FroodyFrog
Yup.

My order confirmation number
@jml326 Yeah,I saw that part (after reading your rant several times since it didn't fully process in my mind the first two times.
Hilarious I should add.
just found this
@FroodyFrog sorry my bad. Shoukd have started with "RANT".
@jml326 I knew it was a rant. On the forum landing page, it says that you went on a bit of a rant.
That sounds like something ... you can blame on @TaRDy.
@narfcake Could we also add goat identity crisis to the charges for which we are blaming @TaRDy ?
@FroodyFrog my BAAAH'D
@TaRDy I see what you did there...
Google image search produces some alarming pictures. You perv !
@OldCatLady Or maybe it's worse that you actually Google Imaged (Imaged? Image'd? Imageded?) it ;)
@OldCatLady Did you have safe search on or off?
@jqubed I've seen the pics she posts... OFF for sure :)
@FroodyFrog Finded.
This is how it sounded when I read it and figured out what happened:
My friend's mom is really into sheep. There are sheep figurines, paintings, throws, stuffed animals, etc. all over their house. So of course one year her sons bought her an inflatable sexy sheep with lingerie printed on it for her birthday or Christmas; I can't remember which. It wasn't actually a sex doll, but it was supposed to look like it was. So I guess you should be glad that wasn't what was in it.
At least you received your ravishing sheep...
My package was turned over by FedEx to the U.S. Post Office, who claims it was delivered to my mailbox. But it was not. There's no proof of delivery. No way to prove definitely that it was, or was not, delivered.
I am really bummed out...
@kpackard check your local post office on monday. occasionally, they mark it as delivered then deliver it the next day.
so its not how they'll identify us when we're moved to the thunderdome?
