@Lynnerizer@yakkoTDI
So if we’re talking about technical fabrics, polyester is better than cotton. Merino wool is better than both, but it can be a lot more expensive.
@Odysseus1001 My first time skiing was taking a bus trip with my youth church group to Colorado. Never had put on a pair of skis and I was flying down Breckenridge.
Amazing trip, pastor yelled at us because we were crawling into the overhead luggage bins on the way back.
Oh experience with these shirts! No, never owned them.
@Odysseus1001@peabs007 They are on-size, neither large nor small. I should have mentioned that I have the fleece-lined version and they are excellent for me to use as a base layer under a sweatshirt when I’m outside working on a 40-ish degree day. Once I’m warmed up, I can lose the sweatshirt and I’m good to go in the base layer.
Best base layer I’ve owned is a merino wool long sleeve lightweight jersey my wife got me. I never would have spent the money on myself but it is one of the best garments I own.
Others in the running are my Arcteryx light jacket to go under a shell, Darn Tough socks and my new Allen Edmonds shoes. All highly recommended.
@shiftace I found that the sleeves on that 4-pack of thermals that Meh sold recently are super short, almost like a baseball jersey. Hopefully these are “full length”
Coincidentally, I was wearing one of these (fleece lined) yesterday, which I bought here over a year ago IIRC. They work really well; picked up another pair. Fit is about the same as my other thermal tops. A bit snug, but fine for a base layer.
Hey smaller people (don’t mean that in a diminutive way, even though literally that’s what it means.) You are still in luck and can order. I tried to order now and XL is sold-out, both styles, and L is out in the fleece.
Am I stupid for thinking these would be fuzzy inside? They’re only slightly furry…not at all what I think of when I hear fleece-lined but what the fuck do I know about that kind of thing down in FL?
Hey MEH, I have never regretted buying anything from you until I received these shitty and shoddy shorts! I didn’t even need to inspect them, all the flaws jump out! I mean did Helen Keller stitch these!? Oh, that’s not PC, but taking my money for junk is? It’s not! The shame from this product is on your, but moreso myself! These will be burned or used as well rags

Are you trying to fleece us?
@yakkoTDI
I think they’re trying to ugly us up (or at least our men) and sweat them out!
SAY NO TO THE POLYESTER!! Especially when it’s with spandex!!

What’s up with the man boobs?
@somf69 Meh knows their customer base…

@somf69 @yakkoTDI I am thankful for your typo.
Perhaps the most apropos order number I have ever received.

@shahnm And giphy and the image finder have perplexed me. Perhaps the least apropos giphy and image I have ever received…
How about during inactivities (a more realistic use case)?
@awk shivering is an activity
The Texas winter is this week. Maybe I’ll get one, if I can remember i have it for next winter.
Largest is XL?! My New Year’s resolution did not hold up this year. I have to pass.
@hchavers I said the same. Meh hates fat people clearly.
I see these were sold on SideDeal. Anyone have any experience to share? Please?

@Odysseus1001 got a pair. Love them. Buying another set.
@accumulator @Odysseus1001 Do they run big or small?

@tweezak Are you suggesting these $20 closeout shirts won’t compare to $65 base layers paired with a $350 jacket?
@crispy1260 @tweezak Hmm… not even sure where you can find a Merino wool jersey for $65. not like 10% blend or something.
@pmarin @tweezak Maybe on a future Meh deal

My man, who is skeptical about meh in general, and is also cold all the time, loves the fleece lined version of these. No regrets.
Fleece Navidad everyone!
@OnionSoup That should be the holiday motto of this site! More fleecing for all!
The invisible mannequins these shirts are on have weird square shaped breasts.
How is the fit? Are they snug? I am typically a Medium, but the last few shirts from Meh have been way too snug…

@callow Nestor!
@katbyter He doesn’t look jubilant at all!

I bought a pair a year ago and agree with your assessment.
I bought these last year. Works great as a cross country skiing base layer.
