@capguncowboy I Was coming in to say that… There was a warning about the Bluetooth spinners… Do they charge by spinning… I could see how that would cause them to explode…
@Bogie I think those are the exploding ones… that may or may not have been recalled. Since you don’t make exploding ones likely not the same target market LOL
@Kidsandliz I assume there’s a news article or something that talks about these exploding spinners? With 4th of July recently I had assumed there was an inside joke or something I missed.
@sammydog01 Yea, I’d bite on this deal if I hadn’t already ordered 2 straight from China last week for ~$2 less. Apparently, mine are in Singapore via Hong Kong Airlines.
These could be fun to chuck into meeting rooms while important phone conference meetings are going on. Or maybe plant it ahead of time. Play some embarrassing song while within bluetooth range. If it gets confiscated, it’s only a loss of $5 and nobody will know who dunnit!
Supposed to make good cat toys. Wife bought one, and our cats looked at us like: “what the heck are you thinking lady? Do we look like stupid hoo-mans? We’re cats, we’re smarter than that”.
So, if you’re buying them for your cat, be warned, you may get that look of “stupid hoo-man”. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about…;)
About the model number: we were taught in school that the first mass produced items were either guns (interchangeable parts) or cars (Henry Ford’s production line), depending on what you are actually asking.
@jandrese I agree, there’s different ways to look at what it means. I think both of those are interesting (though I might also say the Oldsmobile may be a contender, too). Stay tuned, I eventually get around to that.
@medz @skemmehs Wrote the epic apocalyptic story. I hacked together the poorly sourced, rambling essay on model numbers. We both threw in some feature bullets here and there.
@dave Thank you - that is what I thought but the description saying “2-Pack: LED Bluetooth Fidget Spinners” and then the price saying “2 for $10” seems to imply I get two 2-packs for $10.
I think this may just be the stupidest thing that I have ever bought. Oddly, the speaker is pretty good. Now, I can spin and listen to music. I wonder if it will work during telecons as a phone BlueTooth?
I bought a pair just so they won’t show up in the Fuku. You can thank me later.
@kphilippe not all heros wear capes
Are these like the one that exploded on that kid last weekend? I hope so. At least then they’ll be exciting
@capguncowboy worried. Meh?!?!??

@sohmageek @capguncowboy I was also coming here to mention that.
Meh trying to run me out of business. j/k j/k, these are shit or the shit. I can’t remember anymore.

I mean, I’m just… you know… let’s call it market research.

@Bogie I saw it on TV
@Bogie Google lists a number of articles. Here is one

Fidgets with folding knife blades would be cooler…
@daveinwarsh Saw one on the intertubes with razor blades attached. Might have been the Slingshot Channel.
Can I dock my Zune in one?
@medz if only. #Zune4Lyfe
@medz
Whoever implements this will become a god.
This is an abomination.
Haha! I have one of these on the way via Air Azerbaijan.

Is this the model that catches on fire, or nah?
@SColburn Thanks. Almost bought it. Not worth trusting.
Yay! Love these things. Would rather deal with Meh than GearBest.
@heartny I would have waited.
@sammydog01 Who knew Meh would steal my idea?
@heartny I bet some buyer laughed his head off when you posted your new spinner.
@sammydog01 Either that or they said, “OMG we need to sell these too!”
/giphy god has forsaken us
There is a twitch stream I watch (LuCKyy_and_BW) where these guys are obsessed with fidget spinners, just bought it and sent it to them haha
opens meh tab
closes meh tab
narp.

@dave so who all wrote what for this event?
@medz

@ManBehindPlan It worked! Your order number is: ostensible-meaningless-tail

@bobwrong This is somehow very satisfying to watch.
Almost bought these out of curiosity of what they sound like when spinning…but I’m not into the whole bursting into flames trend as of late.
They should list “flaming” as a feature. Example:
I hate ostentatious fidget spinners because they defeat the original purpose of less obvious ways to fidget/stim. Meh.

Yup. Didn’t need those. Oh well. I hate this site.
@bobwrong
Well, this site probably hated you first. So there.
I’m both glad I was able to call the fidget spinner Meh would sell and sad that I missed this while on an hour-long conference call.
I think this may just be the stupidest thing that I have ever bought. Oddly, the speaker is pretty good. Now, I can spin and listen to music. I wonder if it will work during telecons as a phone BlueTooth?
