Product: Art And Cook 3 In 1 Breakfast Maker
Model: ACBM22962
Condition: New
The Art + Cook 3-In-1 Breakfast Maker is a versatile kitchen appliance designed to simplify your morning routine
This compact device combines a toaster oven, coffee maker, and griddle, allowing you to prepare a full breakfast simultaneously
With easy-to-use controls and efficient design, it’s perfect for small kitchens, dorm rooms, or anyone looking to streamline their breakfast preparation
Whether you’re making toast, brewing a cup of coffee, or frying eggs and bacon, this all-in-one solution saves time and space, making breakfast quick and effortless
But can it jack the flaps, or flap the jacks, or whatever that is?
My kitchen already has a toaster that can’t butter the bread slices but can jam them.
I often like to skip to the last picture to laugh at what silly thing they’ve done in Photoshop.
In this case, I’m pretty sure all 4 pictures are faked. Surely that’s not an idea that made it far enough up the chain of approval to actually get fabricated in a factory, right?
How is a coffee pot not better off as a stand-alone appliance?
How is a griddle that high off the counter considered good?
Oh well. I’m intrigued by it. (Not enough to buy it. We already have sufficient appliances for our breakfast, and don’t have plans to replace them soon.)
@xobzoo They don’t even show a picture of the griddle without the cover. Does it have its own heat setting? Does it rely on the heat from the toaster oven part, requiring the lid to trap the heat --and guaranteeing shitty eggs and pancakes?
@xobzoo there is one (and only one) valid use case I can think of for this thing: preventing breakers from tripping. Sharing a single plug, it will draw less than 15A (aka one standard breaker). While a separate toaster oven and coffee maker is almost guaranteed to be a combined 18-20A (aka “oops, we tripped the breaker”)
I can see this having been made for rental cabins, dorms, rvs etc where they need to include a basic cooking implement, but not a full kitchen, and the wiring just isn’t up to snuff to deal with off-the-shelf appliances.
And once you have the “toaster/coffee maker” concept, turning the top of the toaster oven into a hotplate becomes a no-brainer.
My suspicion is that building codes have gotten stricter so the market for these monstrosities either dried up or never really existed at the volumes expected.
@DLPanther They are desperate for our approval so they are selling it for the laugh factor, hoping that will get them back into our good graces. Yesterday it was a $5 item, today this, tomorrow it is
@Bluedragon07@ciabelle@Lynnerizer@yakkoTDI Why spare explosives? If you pulverize explosives and put them in the coffee maker instead of coffee beans you will have wrecked the explosives.
Whoa!! Someone in marketing needs to pause this awesome deal so there’ll be enough for the VIP / mehmbers only Hour!! Hate for the special folks to miss out on this hot seller!!
@customers@here oof, it’s pretty clear $39.99 is too high for this ridiculous all-in-one machine, so we’ve made the decision to sell these at a loss. The one customer who bought at $39.99 will receive a $10 refund. Any takers at $29.99? Graduation gift? Gag gift? Dirty Santa 2024?!
@ciabelle@Odysseus1001@troy And only one sold by 3:17am CST (yeah I woke up thank you a helicopter’s spot light that came in my window while they were buzzing our apartment building and parking lot. I do not want to know what is going on out there. At least if there were gun shots they happened prior to when I woke up. good thing I live on the 4th floor). Of course the one buyer is from New York. I’d guess NYC where people, due to rent, live in a 10’ by 10’ space and have no room for any appliance except ones like this. they’d probably have more buyers if they shipped to Japan and Korea since some people there live in spaces where they can’t even stand up.
If I recall correctly, 400W is a bit anemic for a coffee maker bigger than two cups. Nothing states or shows whether the griddle comes off for cleaning. The power level dedicated to the toaster oven cavity doesn’t seem terribly adequate for much of anything unless the space is really tiny, in which case, so is the utility of the unit. This seems like the kind of thing one buys as a wedding gift for people that one does not like very much. Or perhaps for couples where the half-life of the marriage is expected to be measured in months.
@KSchweitz I frequently use a camper/RV and unless you have a huge 40ft $800K RV, there’s no room for this behemoth. And if you could afford the $800K Bus RV, you would presumably have better appliances and an espresso maker.
I don’t recall seeing anything like this at a Costco. It seems to fit more with the Wal-mart/Sams clientele.
@EvilSmoo@Lynnerizer@mediocrebot@mehcuda67 I would pay the original $39.99 for this if it came with the nice-looking breakfast foods. the AI does some flashy design and apparently makes good breakfast. Much better than the real-world product. It’s unclear where the toast comes from as there is other stuff underneath where the toasting should be happening.
Amazing that the deal has been live for over a quarter of the day already, and only one single unit has been sold. I realize it’s probably not that great of a product but holy hell, of the potentially thousands (tens of thousands?) of users, that’s surprising.
Somewhere in my house there is a device with a similar concept as this one, bought many years ago on sale. It’s not terrible at any of the things it does, and I’d say it was worth the $30 or so just for the novelty and managing to actually work decently well.
…the deal has been live for over a quarter of the day already
Pushing one-third of a day now and still a whopping 1 sold. Maybe that was a test purchase by a meh staff member to make sure the e-commerce site was working properly?
This is the very first Meh offering I have been excited about showing to my family, because it so perfectly represents the lack of weighty decision-making involved with perusing this site each morning. I immediately thought of the Goldblum line from Jurassic Park, thank you for the giphy.
The negativity seems mostly centered around its size – and lack thereof. The pan is noted as removable, with its heating element shared with the toaster.
There is a market for these units – this one sold 200+ in the past month. Now it’s just a matter of getting some of those looking to buy the one here instead.
@narfcake My favorite thing about it is that it says it’s space-saving, but the coffee pot nailed to the side isn’t taking up any less space than it would if it was separate, it’s just making it more inconvenient because now you can’t control which space it’s taking up. (Also, my wife got a k-cup style coffee maker [also can do unpacked coffee, screw expensive wasteful cups] that’s got a smaller footprint than that part of it.)
I think if it was just a toaster oven with a hotplate on top it would be much more of a justifiable item as a space-saver.
@narfcake the video included is… Spelling and punctuation aside, very telling in the poor quality of the product. The “cookies” (pound cake) don’t look thoroughly baked, the eggs aren’t shown, the coffee looks lukewarm. (The Nostalgia Station’s video doesn’t even show the cooking process, just the waxed food!)
@deladeci So you are one of the 23 people so far who have bought one. You may have paid more for this than the person with the raffle ticket who won by losing who won this white elephant.
Ok, as terribly ridiculous as this thing is, it’s low enough power to run on a few of the recent lithium power banks. The P2E/Duracell, maybe even the crappy Puleida units might stand a chance.
I would have gladly paid the $39.99 for a real, genuine, authentic ART+COOK Breakfast Maker - but this AR+COOK Breakfast Maker is plainly a cheap, no-name knockoff.
[They are also sold under the Belt+Towel and Shaper Imagine names.]
@rpstrong oh, belt+towel sell these too? That is a sure sign they’re top flight stuff. Lemme go get three.
Until them I never considered the concept of negative brand awareness, i.e. something I will never buy because of the name on it. I will literally buy UIOSMUPH before them. Or AR+COOK, so I suppose these are on the table. Or counter, as it were.
@Kidsandliz if they want $80 for an electric kettle, this monstrosity would likely have been $200 or more. So I doubt that it sold out. They probably don’t sell much directly but establish a presence at MSRP to make wherever it is being sold look like a good deal.
@caffeineguy Hey they have sold 35 of them so far and only 45 min to go.
Shall we take bets on how many more times we will see these come up for sale in the near future? And the winner will be guaranteed not to get one in an irk were they to get an irk.
I’d actually be interested in knowing if the coffee maker can be easily dismounted from the rest of the beast so that the small toaster oven could be useful without the space-wasting lump on the side.
This is pretty dumb but also… very intriguing to me for how cheap it is. I took a chance on one. If the coffee maker can make a decent cup and the toaster oven works well then I’ll keep it. The weird griddle at the top is just a bonus.
@DLPanther@pakopako Hmmm. There is also the unfortunate spectre of Returns to consider as well. We know not of the status of that, nor shall we untill the IRKs appear and the full horror unfolds (or doesn’t, sometimes it unrolls or unfurls or outgases or solidifies.)
@DLPanther@pakopako I will posit that as long as any Returns do not include the remnants of failed attempts to use the device, either with recommended or with nonstandard comestibles, we can at least see if the return was due to the recipient being unimpressed or whether it was due to the item being genuinely upgefickt. If those crusty remains are present, then we have the opportunity to do a full-on Joe-inspired short video of the results obtained by plugging it in and turning it on.

Great timing! My wallet could use a little extra bread in it.
It’s hideous. I love it.
What’s the range on the Bluetooth speaker? And what was the expiration date on the included bacon and eggs?
@djslack
Bluetooth has always been a 10 meter range.
@yakkoTDI nuh-uh
@djslack I want to know about (obviously there has to be) the jackknife included to cut whatever the heck that is in the toaster.
Was this made for Air BnB?
@Euniceandrich I was thinking maybe something for the car…
@Euniceandrich I thought almost the same thing. Seems fitting as the “kitchen” in an extended stay motel.
@Euniceandrich @Lynnerizer The bathtub perhaps?
@ciabelle @Euniceandrich @Lynnerizer Once, anyway. More tingly than those new bath bombs.
@ciabelle @Euniceandrich @Lynnerizer
It has everything except a Bluetooth speaker… and because of that it’s a no from me dawg
@ihaveyoursox It doesn’t include a knife though…
Also,
/youtube South Park simultaneous
But can it jack the flaps, or flap the jacks, or whatever that is?
My kitchen already has a toaster that can’t butter the bread slices but can jam them.
I guess you can’t call it a unitasker.
Does anyone even have time to make breakfast these days?
Someone should add the margarita / mimosa maker and juicer for a truly complete breakfast system.
@medz Came here to post this, only the full quote:
Your Scientists Were So Preoccupied With Whether Or Not They Could, They Didn’t Stop To Think If They Should
I often like to skip to the last picture to laugh at what silly thing they’ve done in Photoshop.

@xobzoo They don’t even show a picture of the griddle without the cover. Does it have its own heat setting? Does it rely on the heat from the toaster oven part, requiring the lid to trap the heat --and guaranteeing shitty eggs and pancakes?
@ciabelle @xobzoo based on the control panel id say it likely relies on the oven for heat
@xobzoo there is one (and only one) valid use case I can think of for this thing: preventing breakers from tripping. Sharing a single plug, it will draw less than 15A (aka one standard breaker). @jamesmcp this is the best explanation for this I have seen yet.
/giphy winner
I think your art ran out of air.
@troy warned me this would happen. Feel free to blame me for not stopping such a terrible appliance from being sold.
@DLPanther They are desperate for our approval so they are selling it for the laugh factor, hoping that will get them back into our good graces. Yesterday it was a $5 item, today this, tomorrow it is
/giphy you are selling WHAT???
The coffee maker isn’t even programmable!! WTF??
/giphy WTF??
Looks like a freakin fire hazard.
One sold after an hour. Oof.
@Bluedragon07 A trucker for sure!
@Bluedragon07 @Lynnerizer 1 sold nearly 4 hours in. Likely to set a record for worst selling product!
@Bluedragon07 @ciabelle @Lynnerizer We are getting a preview of a new irk item!
TheyWe will regrettheywe bought it.@Bluedragon07 7:30AM EST and still only 1 sold. Ouch.
@Bluedragon07 @ciabelle @Kidsandliz @Lynnerizer
A second one has sold!! As of 08:15 EST.
I get the feeling these are both drunk buys or people with spare explosives.
@Bluedragon07 @ciabelle @Lynnerizer @yakkoTDI Why spare explosives? If you pulverize explosives and put them in the coffee maker instead of coffee beans you will have wrecked the explosives.
@Bluedragon07 @ciabelle @Kidsandliz @Lynnerizer @yakkoTDI This would be a perfect gift for someone who tests things to destruction in an entertaining manner. (viz. “Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?”)
Whoa!! Someone in marketing needs to pause this awesome deal so there’ll be enough for the VIP / mehmbers only Hour!! Hate for the special folks to miss out on this hot seller!!
POKER! JOKER! NOT MEDIOCRE! AWESOME!
@mediocrebot totally mediocre
@customers @here oof, it’s pretty clear $39.99 is too high for this ridiculous all-in-one machine, so we’ve made the decision to sell these at a loss. The one customer who bought at $39.99 will receive a $10 refund. Any takers at $29.99? Graduation gift? Gag gift? Dirty Santa 2024?!
@troy Huge fan. But no. I would not take it at $29.99. I would not take on a train. I would not take it on a plane.
I would not take it at $9.99.
(apologies to Dr. Seuss)
@Odysseus1001 @troy Note to self: Do not try to get in on the next IRK.
@ciabelle @Odysseus1001 @troy And only one sold by 3:17am CST (yeah I woke up thank you a helicopter’s spot light that came in my window while they were buzzing our apartment building and parking lot. @troy Good luck! You’ll need it.
@ciabelle … Or the one after that, or the one after that… Actually that sounds pretty smart, overall…
And here I thought Fullmetal Alchemist was screwed up.
Do three things poorly! And then throw it away when the one feature you really want stops working!
i feel bad for this thing. i am willing to adopt one to give it a new home. as long as it’s free, of course.
@omally I can go higher than free, but I also have multiple extras for each function too.
So no more than a catshirt’s worth.
And one sold.

These are nice for a camper or RV, Tiny house. They were popular 10 yrs ago. Sold in big box stores. Nice all in one.
@KSchweitz I frequently use a camper/RV and unless you have a huge 40ft $800K RV, there’s no room for this behemoth. And if you could afford the $800K Bus RV, you would presumably have better appliances and an espresso maker.

@KSchweitz @pmarin Reviewers on similar multi-function appliances are using them in van dwellings.
@KSchweitz @narfcake @pmarin if you’re in a van dwelling, your budget might not afford you this device

What’s the GVW?
I’ve always loved these things. I don’t NEED one, but I greatly appreciate that they exist.
/showme This compact device combines a toaster oven, coffee maker, and griddle, allowing you to prepare a full breakfast simultaneously
@mediocrebot I dunno, except for the confusion, this almost looks better than the real product.
@EvilSmoo @mediocrebot
IT SURE DOES!
@EvilSmoo @Lynnerizer @mediocrebot They should have commissioned /showme for the product design.
@EvilSmoo @Lynnerizer @mediocrebot @mehcuda67 I would pay the original $39.99 for this if it came with the nice-looking breakfast foods. the AI does some flashy design and apparently makes good breakfast. @PooltoyWolf At 7AM EDT. Came here to see who the one is!
Pushing one-third of a day now and still a whopping 1 sold. Maybe that was a test purchase by a meh staff member to make sure the e-commerce site was working properly?
@andymand Or the counter broke due to massive volume and its inability to count high?
This is the very first Meh offering I have been excited about showing to my family, because it so perfectly represents the lack of weighty decision-making involved with perusing this site each morning. I immediately thought of the Goldblum line from Jurassic Park, thank you for the giphy.
Up to 2! Maybe a pity purchase?
I’m tempted, just to get my county on the map.
@mehcuda67 Fifteen now, woo hoo!
@mehcuda67 @werehatrack @troy maybe try $19.99 next?
Good mews, everyone! I found what appears to be the same product but in a different brand – and there’s a video showing it in operation.

@ravenblack Agreed. The small coffee maker appendage is an actual detractor to the whole thing.
@narfcake @ravenblack
Especially if you don’t drink coffee and have limited counter space.
@narfcake It’s perfect if you live in your mom’s basement.
@narfcake @sammydog01 And drink coffee.

I look at products like this and the first thing that comes to mind is “how do you clean it”
I Purchased this for a Senior Community Raffle.
@deladeci So you are one of the 23 people so far who have bought one. You may have paid more for this than the person with the raffle ticket
who won by losingwho won this white elephant./showme kitchen appliance from unholy union of a toaster-oven and coffee maker.
@mediocrebot hmmm… too much coffee, not enough toast. A lot of pretty controls. Not unholy enough to match the real thing.
@mediocrebot Regular and decaf?
@pmarin It’s appears your toast is at the bottom of the carafe on the left … nice and soggy for you!!
@IndifferentDude @pmarin Those look like soggy mini English muffin halves. Ew. And the coffee is like an Englishman’s opinion of American beer.
Ok, as terribly ridiculous as this thing is, it’s low enough power to run on a few of the recent lithium power banks. The P2E/Duracell, maybe even the crappy Puleida units might stand a chance.
@caffeineguy Just the coffeemaker with the P2E, it maxes out at 500W.
@rpstrong In my earlier post, the referenced Amazon brand is “byhip”.
@djslack @rpstrong But artandcook.com appears to be the same as AR+COOK:
https://artandcook.com/collections/small-appliances
@djslack @Kyeh @rpstrong Looks like it sold out on that website. I don’t see it there now.
@djslack @Kidsandliz @rpstrong
No - I just went looking for a company called ART+COOK and could only find this.
@Kidsandliz if they want $80 for an electric kettle, this monstrosity would likely have been $200 or more. So I doubt that it sold out. They probably don’t sell much directly but establish a presence at MSRP to make wherever it is being sold look like a good deal.
@rpstrong Belt+Towel? I thought they were Hell+Bowel, a division of IBS LLC. Or are there two of them?
@rpstrong You may be confusing some of the imitations with ARRR+CROOK, the infamous design piracy bunch.
Holy crap! I almost want to buy one just so I can say I did! Have families died using this?
c’mon @troy mark it down to $19.99 for the last hour, maybe you’ll sell another 5
@caffeineguy Hey they have sold 35 of them so far and only 45 min to go.
Shall we take bets on how many more times we will see these come up for sale in the near future? And the winner will be guaranteed not to get one in an irk were they to get an irk.
@caffeineguy @Kidsandliz Something tells me that we’re going to be seeing this one on SideDeal for several months. Perhaps many severals.
I’d actually be interested in knowing if the coffee maker can be easily dismounted from the rest of the beast so that the small toaster oven could be useful without the space-wasting lump on the side.
@werehatrack not easily. You’re also going to need new feet after removing the base of the coffee maker.
/showme kitchen appliance from unholy union of a Dalek and coffee maker.
This is pretty dumb but also… very intriguing to me for how cheap it is. I took a chance on one. If the coffee maker can make a decent cup and the toaster oven works well then I’ll keep it. The weird griddle at the top is just a bonus.
/giphy disgusted-ill-cover
… Someone bought 2…at once
Congratulations on selling the last one of these, according to SideDeal. That means it’s safe to buy an IRK again.
@DLPanther A milestone!
@DLPanther … Unless they’re prepacked into the irks…
@DLPanther @pakopako Hmmm. There is also the unfortunate spectre of Returns to consider as well. We know not of the status of that, nor shall we untill the IRKs appear and the full horror unfolds (or doesn’t, sometimes it unrolls or unfurls or outgases or solidifies.)
Of course, sometimes there is antihorror.
@DLPanther @pakopako I will posit that as long as any Returns do not include the remnants of failed attempts to use the device, either with recommended or with nonstandard comestibles, we can at least see if the return was due to the recipient being unimpressed or whether it was due to the item being genuinely upgefickt. If those crusty remains are present, then we have the opportunity to do a full-on Joe-inspired short video of the results obtained by plugging it in and turning it on.
