These are great, I bought a few the first time around, most still work great. The best part is the lifetime warranty. One was crushed by the power seat mechanism, another started leaking from the flip seal, I contacted Bubba and they replaced both for free. It’s nice to experience a quality product from a company that stands behind it.
@mehdaf did they make you return the bottles? The shipping alone would be more than six dollars they cost. I have these exact bottles one I put coffee in and the rubber seal gave out and the cup started leaking of course. The other I have only ever put water in and it is doing fine.
@dino2269 no I did not have to return them thankfully. I had to take a picture of both units together, that was all. They even paid for shipping the replacements to me. We use these daily, and I originally bought a few of these, so I am a little concerned that if I have any issues with other ones, I may have difficulty making a claim, since I have already made a claim. Also, the ones I bought originally were stainless colored, the replacements were painted which might not hold up as well. However considering the apparent high quality of these, how well they work for our needs, and the price compared to other alternatives, these still are the best choice for us. So I bought a few more this time too.
These are awesomsauce! My french press is 51oz (1.5l) and fills two of them. If I pre-heat them with boiling water and then fill them at 7AM, the contents are still hotter than just warm at 3PM.
I’d be in for some, except that I already have two spares.
@baqui63 Will these fit into a standard cup holder? I love the plastic Bubba mugs for cold drinks, and I have three pairs of Bubba thermal vacuum bottles, but none of them fit properly into the damned cup holders in my CR-V.
@magic_cave They do NOT fit in the center console cup holders of my 2004 Ford Taurus SEL (they MIGHT fit in the rear cup holders, but I’ve never tried).
Had I seen this question earlier today, I’d have tried one in my gf’s 2002 Honda CRV but now she is off at work and I’ll not see her again until Saturday. (I’m guessing they are probably too big, tho.)
Gonna pass on these. I love the 20oz bubba’s I bought before but even those are too big to fit under my coffee maker which means I have to get an extra cup dirty. Would be cool to get 12 or 16oz ones.
@Barney I had one put in for the sole purpose of the newly acquired Bubba collection…because MEH keeps feeding the addiction! I know some are complaining, but if you keep putting them up, I will keep buying them - at least until someone does an intervention
But nah, not really. Just trying to buy a house so maybe I shouldn’t buy something on Meh that I already own a few of. Even if the color today kicks ass.
OMFG. Why did I just buy these when we already have a bunch of them? Some that haven’t even been used yet? I was like “Oh, those again, we don’t ne… they come in BLUE?” ~sigh~ definite-grimy-krill
Looks like they fixed one of my gripes about the other 24 oz bubbas they sold earlier: the lid. It’s not as easy to drink from as the 20 ouncers, but these new ones have the trough type thing after the opening for the liquid to run down, which is better to drink from IMO.
I shouldn’t do it, I SHOULDN’T DO IT… BAH!!! I LOVE BUBBAS…IN FOR 2 SETS. Glad I don’t have a husband to tell me what I can and cannot buy… LOL…These make Great Gifts!
'Really like our 20 once Bubbas, but love our 24 oncers even more. Aside from having serious capacity - especially if you load a bunch of ice, they have a tougher look as well.
And it might be my imagination but I think they keep stuff hot/cold even longer than the excellent 20 ouchers.
BTW, a couple observations about this new style vs the prior style sold here on Meh… (I broke the flapper on my original-style and Bubba quickly sent out a complete tumbler - this new model)
1 - The new top is a nice improvement - better funneling ability, but it does make the tumbler a bit taller (perhaps a bit less than 1/4 inch taller).
2 - I prefer the old-style two-tone color since that bare stainless is a bit grippier, less slippery. And more manly looking.
3 - Good news - the new style top works fine on the old-style tumbler.
Another tidbit learned from Bubba’s warranty process… from the paperwork: Rubbermaid appears to be recovering a bit from their Wallyworld-induced bland-product doldrums - apparently Bubba is a Rubbermaid Brand!
@RedOak Actually, Rubbermaid is part of the Newell company, which happens to own another favorite brand here - Contigo! Not to mention the recently sold FoodSaver and a ridiculous other number of popular brands.
@cinoclav yes, Walmart abused Rubbermaid to the point where their fallen stock price made them a cheap buy for Newell. That was the end of Rubermaid’s previously wonderfully creative string of products. The lesson for other companies - don’t rely on too few customers for your lifeblood. Diversify customers.
According to the warranty invoice Bubba is a Rubbermaid brand.
Check this out ,I bought two of these about a year ago,I use them almost everyday,if you put ice in them at 8am there is still ice in them the following day at 8am, and hot beverages will stay hot i mean hot 8 hours so get this !!! the O rings in the lid go on both of them and after contacting Big Bubba and following in their return procedure taking a pic etc,…they sent me 2 brand new ones their latest model, hats off to a fine company with a fine product and kudos to MEH for getting the deal they’re a steal at 6 bucks shipped …good luck !!! This happened 2 weeks ago so i have 2 new ones but everyone likes these that see them so i bought 2 more as gifts …Great 2 fer
I seriously love these mugs. I use them pretty much every day, as keeping stuff cool in Phoenix is a huge boon. In for 3 more sets. Now I can more easily keep track of which ones I use for iced coffee and which ones I use for smoothies! (That I make with my Ninja blender. Because Meh is taking over my kitchen)
As an excited molecule of liquid I am always looking for the cool things, even though it means my excitement levels will fade. That is why I love these Buba 24oz HERO classic tumblers!!! The lack of conductive materials in the vessel walls keeps me bouncing around for hours!!! The sealed lid and lack thermal leakage really keeps me inside the jar!!!
In for 4 in purple and of course I got VMP… it’s the zeroth theory of saving cash on shipping!!!
Crap, I got excited and thought these were the vacuum sealed one for BEER. I bought anyway because I like Bubba’s. BUT WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO SELL ONES FOR ICE COLD BEER???
@Barney@cinoclav@sammydog01 thank you for the welcome! It’s actually been fairly cool today but I’m sure soon enough the K.Y Intrigue Heat will still be cooler than outside.
Bought them in the past but they don’t fit the cup holders in my Hondas and the air hole on the previous style gets covered by my upper lip when I take a sip.
@RedOak I think its a matter of they offered the 20s more, the 24s usually sell out before i get to them. Generally when you’re on the road bigger is better as long as it fits the cup holder.
I bought these last year and they were probably the BEST items I’ve bought off meh. I totally loved them. I would often fill them with hot coffee before work and I was amazed how warm my coffee still would be hours after done working. I’m going in for two orders this time, for both black and blue.
@SkyyPunk They fit (well, the standard metal bottle holder ones anyways) but metal on metal leaves nasty markings. Then I have really nice plastic holders but these 24ers are too heavy and slip out on a big bump - same issue with a back pack holder.
If anyone has a different experience/solution (I ended up carrying inside my backpack) let me know.
I friggin’ bought 4 more…already have a bunch but not in these colors. We use them as gifts a lot, most recently the kids’ teachers received them for year end gifts. LOVE my Bubbas!
Got my order today! I’ll have to look at them in the sunlight tomorrow but the blue is so dark it looks kinda purple to me. Under my kitchen cfl lighting I had to hold the black ones up to the blue to easily tell the difference. Nothing wrong with that, I think I like the dark blue better.
@RiotDemon Who knew? The blue tumblers in the picture look blue. I didn’t open up the box until after dark and I first thought they sent me 4 black ones instead of 2 blue and 2 black until I got the plastic bags off of them and held them up side-by-side. But as I said it could be the crappy old technology cfl’s I’m using (they’re the old kind that take a minute or three to get bright)
your story reminds me of an early shipment from Meh. of ceramic coffee mugs with silicone lids, 3 to a box in a box just bigger than the 3 of them, with little TX air, no surprise they arrived as a pile of dust. I think Meh. support referred to it as a packtastrophy, and I knew I had found my home.
Q: How much is shipping? How will it be shipped? Can I pay to expedite it?
A: Shipping’s always $5, and free for VMP members (see below). So yeah, we’re going to ship it the slowest and cheapest way we can possibly find. Usually that’s Smartpost or Surepost, which starts with FedEx or UPS and ends with the post office. It’ll probably be 2 weeks before you get it. And no you can’t get it any faster.
@mtifford Mine was mostly the same, one of the black rings with the split was still attached to the lid. Also the box made a nice clanging noise when I picked it up. Bubble wrap was just for show, not for real protection.
@mtifford I ordered 6 this round and one of my (dark) blue ones arrived broken like this, too. They all arrived clanking in the box-no Texas air added - I was surprised only one was slightly dented.
Has anyone gotten a replacement for their broken one(s)? Did you go through Meh or directly to Bubba?
We live our Bubba’s! Maybe we can have Bubba Friday’s to replace the retired SDF…??
@wildmomo I got my replacements pretty quick. Went through the Bubba warranty process while in communication with Meh customer service. I think the Meh folks helped expedite
I was a bit nervous as I picked the box up off the porch… they were loose and clanging against each other in the box. Texas air bag virtually empty. (The scorpion sealed inside must have consumed the air.)
Placed two separate orders (a set for a coworker) which arrived today and they are very different blues. We both wanted them because of the bright blue color and one set is much darker. Plus one of the bright ones is dented on the bottom. Mine too were basically loose, rolling around in the box. Wtf? They’re metal you guys, not plastic. Metal dents. This is the worst packaging I’ve seen in a while. Changes in the warehouse? And yes, I’m contacting support.
I’m guessing that dent isn’t just cosmetic - that when you put the Bubba on a hard surface it now has an irritating tippiness to it, right? (Ball peen hammer time.)
Bright Blue rocks. That Darker Blue, while still nice, not so much. It looks closer to the Black one I received as a warranty replacement from Bubba. (I continue to prefer my slightly grippier/less slippery original brushed stainless/black 24’s tho.)
@cinoclav When my mailman put my box down on the chair outside my front door, I feared the worst. Horrible clanging sounds. I was surprised that they weren’t scratched. The darker blue ones almost look like my “black” ones. They’re more of a dark grey than anything.
@RedOak Yep, a slight wobble. I’d be less upset about the difference in colors if it wasn’t for the fact that two orders were placed because we both wanted the bright blue. I feel like the warehouse personnel failed big time. Not just on the horrible shipping but it would seem rather obvious that the colors didn’t match. Did someone approach a supervisor to alert them of the situation so they could notify the customers? Doesn’t seem like it.
@RiotDemon I just checked - I’ve placed 80 orders. A few have been utter crap but that’s basically what I expected. Caveat emptor… It hasn’t been until recently that I’ve had reason to complain. First the screwed up Kershaw knife, now these. Both items that I know are typically quality products and should meet certain expectations. Percentage wise, I’m good but this is not an encouraging trend.
I got my dark blue ones this week. They kept my diet Dr. Pepper icy cold throughout a six hour, ninety degree swim meet and I had ice leftover at the end. Who cares if they are not the same blue, they were cheap and totally rock.
@Yoda_Daenerys I compete in the 200 yard pick up the time sheets and take them to the scoring table event. My daughter swims whatever they tell her to swim. Last night she swam the 100 meter fly, poor thing. Summer league is pretty much for fun.
@sammydog01 i used to do the sit on my ass and watch the kids swim event, so you are doing much better - the fly is the worst, unless you are good at it - hope the summer swim season is great for you and yours
@sammydog01@Barney Word of caution, I’m no thermal dynamics engineer, but it appears that 128’r uses different insulating tech vs. these 20’rs and 24’rs.
Unlike a vacuum between stainless layers, the 128’r appears to use traditional cooler insulation - foam sandwiched between plastic. There’s that stainless band on the outside tho. And it still has the wonderful Bubba lifetime warranty.
@RedOak i was trained as a thermal engineer and practiced that trade in the 80’s, i think from what you said you have wisdom beyond your own expectations
@Barney JUST YOU WAIT TIL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME! I’VE PROTECTED YOU FROM HIM FOR ALL THESE YEARS AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET? ‘BARNEY DIDN’T MEAN IT’ I SAID. ‘KIDS DO THESE THINGS, TAKE IT EASY ON BARNEY’ I SAID. I AM DONE! D-O-N-E DONE!
I received my shipment and one of the tumblers had a cracked ring (where the cap screws into the tumber) rendering the entire tumbler useless. The box that these tumblers came in wasn’t damaged, so I believe that the lack of bubble wrap on the inside of teh box allowed the tumblers to smash into each other and caused one of them to break. I haven’t tried the undamaged tumbler yet. I hope if does it’s job. Meh.com, please take care to better package our items in the future.
[1]:
I believe your assessment about heat expansion leading to ring failure at the seam or stamp/depression (in my case) is accurate. I don’t see any evidence of impact on the side or top of the ring. The ring spilt at a depression in the middle of the ring on the bottom side, which would be impossible while it is on the bottle (without seeing any impact damage on the bottle itself). I wonder how the ring doesn’t spilt when hot liquids cause the stainless steel to expand. What would cause the bottle to get hotter than when carrying hot liquids?
Mine were rattling around loose in the box, too. They both survived the experience, though. I’m using one now. I guess mine are the darker variety- they sure don’t look as vivid blue as the ones in the photo. But if I have the money when they roll around again, yeah, I’m pretty sure I’ll buy more- even though I’ll need to rent a storage locker for them… heh. Oh, and I just ordered the 128Oz jug from Morningsave. It’ll be perfect for on the boat when we’re fishing in hot weather. We go through the ice water fast, and I hate keeping drinks in the big cooler where we put the fish we catch. Bleah.
Mine also came in rattling in the box to the extent that one of the tops unscrewed and was adding to to the rattle. They are both fine though. I’m glad because dealing with customer service is not my forte.
If you received damaged Bubbas, please write in to meh.com/support - link to pics is helpful in getting things resolved.
You’d think that the warehouse would know by now, dunnage is lyfe.
Did anyone receive any feedback from customer support regarding their damaged tumbler(s)? I still haven’t received an email. I told them the pictures of the broken tumbler were posted in the forum.
@Barney I did, they sent me this. I then contacted Bubba. "Bubba is handling all replacements on these and if you fill out this quick form at http://www.bubbabrands.com/return/ they’ll send you a replacement no problem.
Let them know that you purchased from Mediocre Corp (Meh.com parent company) and they’ll take care of you. If you need a proof of purchase you can use a screenshot of your My Orders page. Please let us know if you have any issues."
I got the same message as @jlaskey. Now I know why this website is called “Meh”… pretty much describes their shipping and customer service. This was my first order, I will reserve judgement until I have a couple more orders under my belt. This isn’t a good start though.
Alright. I have to stop lurking for a moment and say I finally see the hype over these things. We went to Disney World on Saturday. 100+ degree heat. Left these in the car with ice water.
12 hours later I still had ice! It lives up to the hype! It’s magic! It’s sorcery!
But yeah…these might replace the cabinet full of mugs and bottles if/when they get offered again.
I ordered a pair of these from Morningsave, and the packer people have learned a thing or two. The box was much smaller and more air pillows were added- the box didn’t rattle at all. I received one of each shade of blue and prefer the lighter one, but whatever. That’s right, shipping people, bigger is not always better.
/giphy bigger is not better
@sammydog01 I got my replacements and the packers forgot what they learned for yours. Still packaged with barely any protection, rattling around in the box. At least they were the right color. Two of the four had very minor dents on the bottom. Not enough to complain about as once again meh has gone beyond what I could have asked in taking care of the problem.
I’m still waiting to hear back if they will accept my claim.
Took 10 days for them to respond to my initial claim submission, response said here is a link to file the claim again, respond with two pictures once you get the automated email. Gonna have to wait another 10 days for someone to review my second submission to see if they well even accept my claim. Probably gonna end up getting shafted on this.
@xxWolverinexx You are not going to get shafted. If this does not get resolved, I will send you one of mine. Just let me know and I will try to get it to you in one piece.
Thanks dude o.O. I don’t need charity at this time. I’m going to use my good one tomorrow for the first time. Just was hoping for some customer service instead of getting a jerkaround.
@RiotDemon Since @xxWolverinexx doesn’t want my tumbler, my offer holds for you. (The tumbler is new and unused). If they don’t send you a new one, I’ll send you mine. Just let me know.
@Barney thanks! The ones I got from meh were fine. All the talk about how their customer service was so great, reminded me to finally message them about a different one I’ve had for years. I’m kinda bummed they’re taking so long, but at least my vacuum bottles are good.
I’ve sent bubba two emails about my other tumbler that was busted (not bought here) and I’ve yet to hear a reply. I started the warranty process in June. Anyone have better luck?
@RiotDemon I used the return form here with impressive results. They responded asking for photos of the damage and then quickly shipped a replacement. Email stated 6-8 weeks for shipping but I had it way quicker than that.
@djslack same form I used. Sent the photos as the reply email stated. Got an email that said they got the photos and someone would let me know in 8-10 business days… Then nothing. I’ve replied to their email twice now, asking for an update. I guess I’ll start another claim form, referencing my first one. I’m just disappointed because everyone said such good things about their customer service… But I got ignored, lol
Best purchase ever. Best damned travel mugs ever. They beat the fur off of Yeti crap for twenty times less money. Honestly: Bubba brand is BETTER than Yeti. It stays colder longer, period.
I purchased these intending to give them for Christmas to a commuting nephew and his wife. Decided to use one today when my coffee mug went awol. What a disappointment! The seal around the top has a quarter inch gap and it leaked all over me when I tried to use it. Checked the other one, and it looks fine. Bummer!!!
@Ignorant You know what I like about trying to help people? It’s when they come back to say “Thanks” or at least make some kind of acknowledgement. Maybe a grunt? Yep, trying to be helpful is so awesome.

@Rockstah - It was that, or a frontal lobotomy.
@KDemo did no one get that?
@Rockstah cheap crap
@KDemo i’d rather have a bottle infrontame, than a frontal lobotomy

Bottle neck on the internet server tonight…well meh be not BUT hey it’s bubba time
So these are the famous Bubbas? I’d bite, but they don’t make enough tequila. [I couldn’t get that drunk.]
@radi0j0hn you can drink more than 24 oz of HOT tequila in one sitting? Awesome!

@magic_cave Both the 20 & 24 ouncers fit in most of the cup holders in our Odyssey.
@RedOak Many thanks for the quick response. Buying yet another container that doesn’t fit would provoke a side-eye look from The Spouse.
@baqui63 i’ve started giving the spares away, Meh.be so I can buy more
@RedOak they don’t fit in our 2005 honda pilot or 2015 chevy sonic
@DMlivezey that would be a current gen Odyssey. Have no clue on the current gen CRV but normally Honda loves to standardize details.
It had to be cups…
@Tin_Foil I hope he can reconcile with God
Gonna pass on these. I love the 20oz bubba’s I bought before but even those are too big to fit under my coffee maker which means I have to get an extra cup dirty. Would be cool to get 12 or 16oz ones.
@cjrhoades Bubba makes some 14oz tumblers as well, it would appear. I’d be all over a 12 or 14. Especially this’n…
@cjrhoades agreed, neither fits under a keurig, even on tall setting
@cjrhoades I put mine in at an angle
Absolutely not
I Bubbas. Gotta find more cabinet space
@Barney I had one put in for the sole purpose of the newly acquired Bubba collection…because MEH keeps feeding the addiction! I know some are complaining, but if you keep putting them up, I will keep buying them - at least until someone does an intervention
@Barney Bubbas and other assorted insulated cups are taking over the drinking glass space in my cabinets. I’m considering an addition on my kitchen…
@cinoclav I just bought two more Bubbas. May I rent space in your new addition?
@Barney For you, it’s free storage. I’ll even paint your cabinet purple!
@cinoclav Aww… Thanks!
@dolphinone No intervention from me. I have the same addiction as you do.
Great for taking filtered water to work! Bought a set in each color. Thanks, Meh!
ARTISTIC-RESTFUL-MAID
I’ve got some from a previous meh sale, keeps coffee hot even after sitting in a car in the winter in Maine for hours.
@Pantheist I too can attest to this, and hello fellow Mainah!
These are wonderful beverage vessels. And dat blue though… damn!
But I have several other Bubba bottles and I’m not supposed to be buying stuff online right now. I’ll pretend my gray ones are still sexy.

IN. I will probably never not buy 24-oz Bubbas when they show up here. They are what other insulated bottles wish they could be.

Meh, you need to add #trigger to your post. Bubba assaulted folks in prison.
LOVE the 24 oz. bubbas but have trouble holding them - guess i’ve got baby hands. Wish they had a 24 oz model with a handle.
@annwat not baby arm compatible.
Not big on the look, not big on the colors, DEFINITELY do not need two of them, MEH. AS. FUCK.
@Dizavid But you can put blender balls in them…
@Dizavid Speak for yourself. This is my third set of bubbas. they are fantastic… WHAT AM I DOING?! OH GOD! How do I cancel it?
@Dizavid Another glowing, positive comment from you. Surprise…
@cinoclav Cry moar. I’m surprised all you (imps) who jump down my throat with such devotion don’t just, I dunno, skip my comments and move on.
Why did I do that? We have Bubba’s tumbling off every shelf. It was that pretty candy-apple blue.
Was beginning to wonder whether I’d ever turn the VMP back on - it’s been since late January and that very nice, slim, $14 Targus T-1211 laptop bag.

@bub78 Why wouldn’t you spend the extra $3 to get a second one? And you don’t have to leave your house.
@bub78 And tax-free in most states.
HELL. FUCKING. YES.
Cheap Yeti plz. OR the Pelican alternative. Actually the Pelican would be better because the starting MSRP is lower…

@thismyusername The Sam’s Club version is better with a sliding spill-proof lid. 2 for $20. I like mine a lot.
@mike808 yea but they said yeti, and that ozark trail unit IS the yeti, minus the markup

@cshillaber Purple?? I want purple!!
@katbyter I gave in and bought the blue, I love Bubbas that much.

Man, those hands really weird me out.
Crap, I got excited and thought these were the vacuum sealed one for BEER. I bought anyway because I like Bubba’s. BUT WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO SELL ONES FOR ICE COLD BEER???
Ordered the blue bottle. Now I can drink from one while next to my blue Halo lantern during a power outage or whenever

Bubba mugs to go with my bubba burgers
Unblaming @dashcloud that even though I don’t need any more, they weren’t sold out.

These are probably the best coffee mug I’ve ever owned… I’m so tempted to get more but I already have the two from last time that I rotate.
@sig11 two Bubbas is a dearth of Bubbas.
One must have at least 6 Bubbas to achieve Bubba nirvana… or is that Buda nirvana?
Bigfoot endorses these? Or just gathers them from the packs of wayward hikers?
@jonesin Endorsed by a yeti.

I’m gonna be testing these out at amusement parks all summer. legitimate-superficial-dolphin
Bought them in the past but they don’t fit the cup holders in my Hondas and the air hole on the previous style gets covered by my upper lip when I take a sip.
@jmbunkin you’ve got some big lips , but yea, these totally don’t fit well in car holders - great point!
@jmbunkin These are man bubbas, you need at least a F-100 or Silverado 1500/
@cranky1950 or prius
@cranky1950 Or Mazda CX-5. They fit in my cup holders just fine.

So… Is Bubba 24 or Bubba 20 more liked? Comment gut check here and on the 20 sales would hint it might be Bubba 20.
However, half way through the day and Bubba 24 has already solidly won:
Credit: mehstalker.com
@RedOak I think its a matter of they offered the 20s more, the 24s usually sell out before i get to them. Generally when you’re on the road bigger is better as long as it fits the cup holder.
@cranky1950 three sales each, no?
@RedOak Yeah but they haven’t offered the 24s since october and they sold out before 10 am then
My first order since February…when I purchased some Bubba tumblers! And that was not my first Bubba purchase. Clearly, I like Bubba.

Meh got me for another 4 bubbas. I hate 4 for tuesday.
@Ecriscit 'not liking this one?
@RedOak oh noooooov you got charlie
I bought these last year and they were probably the BEST items I’ve bought off meh. I totally loved them. I would often fill them with hot coffee before work and I was amazed how warm my coffee still would be hours after done working. I’m going in for two orders this time, for both black and blue.
Any chance of getting a 32oz size for summer?
@katbyter sorry, no requests allowed

Yay Bubba! Thanks Meh.
We have some Bubba Vacuum Insulated and we love them. They do keep cold for 12 hours.
Hoping these fit in my bicycle bottle holder thing…because that’s why I bought them
/giphy fingers crossed
@SkyyPunk They fit (well, the standard metal bottle holder ones anyways) but metal on metal leaves nasty markings. Then I have really nice plastic holders but these 24ers are too heavy and slip out on a big bump - same issue with a back pack holder.
If anyone has a different experience/solution (I ended up carrying inside my backpack) let me know.
/giphy TOO BIG
@SkyyPunk The 20 ounce ones fit a bike holder pretty well. You may be able to jam a 24 ounce one in depending on your holder.
Nearly 3600 sold AND you still have more to sell with the VMP last call??? How many shipping containers of these are you sitting on???
@thismyusername And why can’t I buy more?
Bubba is on the move. Should be here next week!
Only a few more days and I get to carry a tumbler of cold milk in the morning to work.
@therealjrn I love purple.
@Barney I think you would these “blue” tumblers then!
@therealjrn Damn. I would of bought more if they looked purple.
I’ll look at them in the daylight tomorrow.
@therealjrn I did buy two blue ones. Mine arrive tomorrow.
@Barney So what do they look like?
@therealjrn Oh dear, they are still sitting on the porch. I’ll have to shuffle outside and get them.
@therealjrn Gee, it was very kind of Meh to send mine “pre-scratched,” there were only two pillows of air in the box. (grumble, grumble).
In daylight, they look blue. In artificial light, they are a very pretty purple.
I love purple.
@Barney Yep, I knew what was in the box from the clanging sound. I’m sure the carriers loved that.
@Barney do you like purple?
your story reminds me of an early shipment from Meh. of ceramic coffee mugs with silicone lids, 3 to a box in a box just bigger than the 3 of them, with little TX air, no surprise they arrived as a pile of dust. I think Meh. support referred to it as a packtastrophy, and I knew I had found my home.
@Yoda_Daenerys Yep, I remember that little
screw upmishap and I also learned what dunnage is. Who would’ve thunk that Meh could be so educational?@Yoda_Daenerys Like? @Barney LOVES purple and she wishes that everything was soooo purple it’s PURPLE.
#PURPLE
/image purple!
@therealjrn I guess the next time it comes up, I might buy some “blue” ones then. The black is more of a dark gunmetal grey also.
Shipping takes forever. Haven’t received mine yet. Wtf. Shipping should be 3 days, not over a week.
@kirtoverseas
You want it faster, you’ll need to pay more and buy it somewhere else.
@kirtoverseas On every item’s opening post, there’s an estimated delivery date.
This is NOT guaranteed. meh is a site for good stuff cheap (but not fast), not cheap stuff fast (but not good), not good stuff fast (but not cheap).

Mine arrived today broken in the same spot. This happen to anyone else?
@mtifford Oh geez, you’re not supposed to open them!
You need to contact meh.com/support (customer support) and let them know.
@Barney rut roo
@mtifford No, but I have my own issues. Looks like yours were so hot the metal expanded and blew the seams.
@mtifford Ouch… everyone reaches for theirs, unscrews tops, runs finger around lip to assure oneness…
@RedOak You know I checked mine!
@mtifford weird, my black ones showed up okay. Sorry yours didn’t.
@mtifford Mine was mostly the same, one of the black rings with the split was still attached to the lid. Also the box made a nice clanging noise when I picked it up. Bubble wrap was just for show, not for real protection.
@mtifford One of mine was like that, and they were clanging in the box too. I sent a notice to bubba.com about it, along with photo.
@Barney One of mine was cracked like that too.
@Sherriboberri I’m sure whoever did the packing has now learned the “correct” way to send Bubbas. Make sure you contact customer service.
@mtifford yep I had one of those too. Cust.Svc sent me to bubba warranty. We’ll see
Arrived today, a day earlier than the original tracking date. I’m liking that Candy Apple Blue!
Might not be saving these for gifts as planned at time of order!
I was a bit nervous as I picked the box up off the porch… they were loose and clanging against each other in the box. Texas air bag virtually empty. (The scorpion sealed inside must have consumed the air.)
Thankfully, they appear to be un-scratched.
@cinoclav My two blue were of the darker kind. Glad to know I’m not just going blind.
@cinoclav Bummer x 2:
@cinoclav you think the warehouse guys at Meh. are inspecting stuff before they ship it, to check color
I got my dark blue ones this week. They kept my diet Dr. Pepper icy cold throughout a six hour, ninety degree swim meet and I had ice leftover at the end. Who cares if they are not the same blue, they were cheap and totally rock.
@sammydog01 what strokes do you compete in?
@Yoda_Daenerys I compete in the 200 yard pick up the time sheets and take them to the scoring table event. My daughter swims whatever they tell her to swim. Last night she swam the 100 meter fly, poor thing. Summer league is pretty much for fun.
@sammydog01 i used to do the sit on my ass and watch the kids swim event, so you are doing much better - the fly is the worst, unless you are good at it - hope the summer swim season is great for you and yours
Bubbas are for sale on Morningsave.com including the 128 oz version. That’s a lot of Bubba. They cost more of course.
@sammydog01 Thanks, I’ve always wanted one of these little suckers. $13.50 is a great price.
@sammydog01 @Barney Word of caution, I’m no thermal dynamics engineer, but it appears that 128’r uses different insulating tech vs. these 20’rs and 24’rs.
Unlike a vacuum between stainless layers, the 128’r appears to use traditional cooler insulation - foam sandwiched between plastic. There’s that stainless band on the outside tho. And it still has the wonderful Bubba lifetime warranty.
@Barney $13.50?.. aha, the VMP 10% discount over there.
@RedOak Thanks for the info, but I just need a jug to take to softball games and this looks like it will do the trick.
@RedOak we get a 10% discount over there?
@Barney NO SOFTBALL. Gotta let your back heal!
@jbartus YESSSSSSS!!! Free shipping too. It’s usually more expensive though.

@sammydog01 well i bought a jug, which of course means they will be here tonight for $8…
@thismyusername Yep, that’s what I figure, but @sammydog01 will refund the difference .
@Barney Uh, maybe?
@sammydog01 I’ll take that as a yes.
![damaged tumbler][1]
I received my shipment and one of the tumblers had a cracked ring (where the cap screws into the tumber) rendering the entire tumbler useless. The box that these tumblers came in wasn’t damaged, so I believe that the lack of bubble wrap on the inside of teh box allowed the tumblers to smash into each other and caused one of them to break. I haven’t tried the undamaged tumbler yet. I hope if does it’s job. Meh.com, please take care to better package our items in the future.
[1]:
@xxWolverinexx This was the worst packaging I’ve encountered with Meh. I’m sad to see so many people got theirs damaged.
@Pony Yeah they probably need to offer their casual labor 10 bucks a day more and mad dog instead of thunderbird.
@cinoclav
Mine also rattled, a case of either the box was too big or not enough air depending on how one looks at it.
Personally I would have just bubble wrapped each bubba and tossed 'em in any sized box…
Mine only had 1 scratch on 1 of them, but nothing compared to the scratches I will be adding to them with normal use…
If you received damaged Bubbas, please write in to meh.com/support - link to pics is helpful in getting things resolved.
You’d think that the warehouse would know by now, dunnage is lyfe.
/image dunnage
Did anyone receive any feedback from customer support regarding their damaged tumbler(s)? I still haven’t received an email. I told them the pictures of the broken tumbler were posted in the forum.
@xxWolverinexx Don’t worry, they will get back to you. (Customer Service does not work on weekends.)
@jlaskey Bubba is real good and fairly quick about replacements. I don’t think you will have any problems.
I got the same message as @jlaskey. Now I know why this website is called “Meh”… pretty much describes their shipping and customer service. This was my first order, I will reserve judgement until I have a couple more orders under my belt. This isn’t a good start though.
@xxWolverinexx
Bubba replaced the broken tumbler a while back.
Yesterday, the second tumbler ring cracked as I was screwing the lid on. I use this bottle twice a week for a approx. 2 hours.
Has anyone experienced a cracked ring from just trying to screw the lid on?
It seems that the plastic ring is pretty weak, be careful when crewing your lids…smh
/giphy sorcery
@trimm They are for sale on Meh’s alter ego, morning save.
https://morningsave.com/events/bubba-drinkware
I took one to another swim meet last night and had ice left over this morning. Amazing.
And Hi!
@sammydog01 Mrs. @trimm wouldn’t like me spending all that on them. I’ll wait until they’re cheap again haha. But thanks! And hi!
Guess I better check mine. I have a habit of just putting unopened boxes in the basement and opening at a later time. Why do I do that?
@cinoclav
Lucky you.
@xxWolverinexx Is that from Bubba or from meh?
@xxWolverinexx You are not going to get shafted. If this does not get resolved, I will send you one of mine. Just let me know and I will try to get it to you in one piece.
@cinoclav
That was bubba with the multiple 10 day emails.
Meh was like…talk to bubba, we can’t help you because we don’t have spare parts.
@Barney
Thanks dude o.O. I don’t need charity at this time. I’m going to use my good one tomorrow for the first time. Just was hoping for some customer service instead of getting a jerkaround.
Do you work for meh.com or something?
@xxWolverinexx very strange coming from bubba, they usually just send new stuff out no questions asked.
@barney sure is a cool dude
@Ignorant I’ve already waited 12 business days for a reply from bubba about a tumbler I have…
@RiotDemon Since @xxWolverinexx doesn’t want my tumbler, my offer holds for you. (The tumbler is new and unused). If they don’t send you a new one, I’ll send you mine. Just let me know.
@Ignorant At least I’m no longer a bot.
@Barney thanks! The ones I got from meh were fine. All the talk about how their customer service was so great, reminded me to finally message them about a different one I’ve had for years. I’m kinda bummed they’re taking so long, but at least my vacuum bottles are good.
@xxWolverinexx Does seem a little strange for them as everyone has given glowing reviews of their customer service. I have faith they’ll come through.
@RiotDemon Maybe they’re afraid? Demons got a bad rep, man
/image bad rep
@RiotDemon Have you tried calling them?
Bubba Customer Service: 877.334.7070
@ELUNO no. I don’t know why I didn’t go looking for a phone number, lol. Thank you.
@compunaut aww, I try to be a friendly demon.
/giphy friendly demon
@RiotDemon Yikes! Friendly demon might be an oxymoron
@compunaut oh I’m sorry, that wasn’t my good side.
Best purchase ever. Best damned travel mugs ever. They beat the fur off of Yeti crap for twenty times less money. Honestly: Bubba brand is BETTER than Yeti. It stays colder longer, period.
Can you sell some Bubba’s again soon? I promise to order 3 (sets). Better yet, send a bunch in my Fuko!!
I purchased these intending to give them for Christmas to a commuting nephew and his wife. Decided to use one today when my coffee mug went awol. What a disappointment! The seal around the top has a quarter inch gap and it leaked all over me when I tried to use it. Checked the other one, and it looks fine. Bummer!!!
Does Meh warrant this stuff?

@Ignorant You know what I like about trying to help people? It’s when they come back to say “Thanks” or at least make some kind of acknowledgement. Maybe a grunt? Yep, trying to be helpful is so awesome.
