Not nice enough for Christmas or birthday and iffy for Valentines but at this price it’s a solid I love you just because gift. Just give it to her on a random Friday date night. Will definitely win you some brownie points.
I’d love to see pics of the “diamonds” some of you got before Christmas. I remember something about bracelets not being the same as the ones advertised but I didn’t hear anything about the diamonds themselves. Thanks people!
{BTW, I was REALLY anticipating a mehrathon today… }
@Kyeh
Thanks!!
While I’ve got your attention… I was also wondering if there is still a thread about sales, good deals/bargains and all that kind of stuff, I haven’t seen it in a very long time.
@Lynnerizer Yeah not a chance I buy any diamonds or jewelry from Meh again. That bracelet was a joke. Super cheap metal, no diamonds. Looked like plastic diamonds. Was so freaking ugly. Didn’t come in a box, it came in a dirty black pouch and was plastic wrapped inside that. As if it came from one of those 50 cent toy dispensers you see at arcades and pizza joints. Got a refund at least.
@Kyeh@Lynnerizer
But that’s only an image of what we were supposed to receive. Scroll down in that thread to see what most of us actually got.
Or here… https://imgur.com/a/nIVMT7Y
@crashcom@Kyeh@Lynnerizer Even if it looks like what you’re supposed to receive. The pictures do not do it justice. It is super light, the diamonds are plastic or some other material. The metal is insanely cheap. That whole sale was a massive bait and switch. Even describing it like even if you don’t want it, a pawn shop will. People brought them to a pawn shop and they laughed at them.
@Kidsandliz
The ash is generally what’s left when all of the carbon has combusted away. Charcoal’s mostly carbon, if it’s dense. (If it’s “natural charcoal”, it’s mostly air by volume.)
@karwinskii Well at least they are admitting to i3 clarity which is the worst clarity a diamond can have and i3 diamonds can not match either, according to google anyway.
@Kidsandliz that’s not strictly true, especially at this size. You’re not going to see many inclusions in these stones because they’re 1mm diameter stones with a good ¼ of the surface area covered by prongs. Not all inclusions are little flecks of black or white either, sometimes they’re clouds of fine particles that intercept the light as it bounces around the stone, so it’s likely that these rocks just won’t sparkle at all. A good cut can go a long way in masking some inclusions, but since it’s not disclosed I would imagine the cut of these stones is <good. In all, these probably cost ~$15 to make, and they’ll look like you bought them off Meh. Retail $200 at Kohl’s? That’s why you don’t buy jewelery at malls.
@SnDMommy The product page on Kohl’s calls the color sterling silver instead of white gold, so it may not actually be plated at all. Assuming that these are even real sterling silver in the first place and not nickel silver.
@DKBingham [In the US] Items can contain a small percentage of nickel and legally be marked as “nickel free”. That label does not mean the item contains 0.0 nickel. Unfortunately for some people with nickel allergies, even that tiny percentage can cause a reaction.
@jamesski86 A refund has been issued for my order back to my card. That refund should appear on my statement in 2-10 business days, which is much, much faster than the original shipping.
@Trinityscrew
Okay, is “L” top to bottom, or side edge to other side edge? Those really aren’t quite the same when the hoop isn’t complete. “L” generally is accepted as meaning “Length”, and that’s not a dimension whose position is inherently obvious here. “Diameter” would be, but “L”? Nope. As is way too common for stuff coming from certain countries, it looks like the manufacturer’s translation software was being used as a substitute for having the specs written by someone who spoke the target language, with interlingual conceptual ambiguities unaddressed.
@arielleslie
'Tis the season for flogging off all the crap that nobody who could see it in person was willing to haul away during the shopping season.
I’m just surprised that the PooPourri Bidet hasn’t been Featured over here yet. (If there’s anything less appealing that the group of sites sells, I have not seen it yet.)
@joshwassum
To me, it screams “I know I’m supposed to try to make you think I care about you, but really I’m just looking to get laid with the least amount of faked commitment and long-term investment that I can get away with.”
Received these earrings today. I am speechless, almost! Tiny; they look like something you would put on a doll. So tiny I can hardly handle them in my fingers. Supposed diamonds are dull. Just hoping I can get a refund.
They are really cute, but when I tried them on, the posts were too short to go through my ears. I do not have thick ears. I got an authorization to return them, but I was told I had to pay the shipping - almost $10. It’s not worth the cost to return it. I’ll give them to a friend’s child - the posts will fit.
Late review - wanted to allow time for use. They haven’t come apart. : Mini diamond hoops, just what I’d been looking for that were under $100. Total score! No issue with putting on, I like that they have a strong clasp too. Pleasantly surprised.

While I’ve got your attention… I was also wondering if there is still a thread about sales, good deals/bargains and all that kind of stuff, I haven’t seen it in a very long time.
@Lynnerizer Not for this month!
You could start one …
@Lynnerizer Yeah not a chance I buy any diamonds or jewelry from Meh again. That bracelet was a joke. Super cheap metal, no diamonds. Looked like plastic diamonds. Was so freaking ugly. Didn’t come in a box, it came in a dirty black pouch and was plastic wrapped inside that. As if it came from one of those 50 cent toy dispensers you see at arcades and pizza joints. Hoop-ty do.
PROTIP: When buying from meh, “diamond” is a very flexible term. As in, it was once made of carbon… maybe.
Well ash in a fire is made of carbon too… just saying.
@Kidsandliz
The ash is generally what’s left when all of the carbon has combusted away. Charcoal’s mostly carbon, if it’s dense. (If it’s “natural charcoal”, it’s mostly air by volume.)
@werehatrack Just making a joke (obviously a failed joke) on carbon, diamonds and low quality…
“J” is in reference to color, “i3” is in reference to clarity. Come on, Meh.
@karwinskii Well at least they are admitting to i3 clarity which is the worst clarity a diamond can have and i3 diamonds can not match either, according to google anyway.
@Kidsandliz that’s not strictly true, especially at this size. Allergy warning: if you are allergic to nickel, avoid “white gold”. The process used most often to make it white involves nickel.
@SnDMommy The product page on Kohl’s calls the color sterling silver instead of white gold, so it may not actually be plated at all. Assuming that these are even real sterling silver in the first place and not nickel silver.
@SnDMommy the spec sheet also says “nickel free”, which leads me to believe that it’s silver, rather than white gold.
@DKBingham [In the US] Items can contain a small percentage of nickel and legally be marked as “nickel free”. That label does not mean the item contains 0.0 nickel. Unfortunately for some people with nickel allergies, even that tiny percentage can cause a reaction.
The actual size would be nice, in MM please. Inches at this size is not as accurate.
@Fuzzalini check the specs. It’s in mm.
I’d buy this but as i’m still waiting for details on what’s up with Slink bracelet I’ll think I’ll pass.
Has anyone heard updates on the Christmas bracelet fiasco?
@jamesski86 You will probably get a
toothbrushcoin from meh with a hole in it so you can put it on a small chain and now have a charm bracelet.@jamesski86 A refund has been issued for my order back to my card. That refund should appear on my statement in 2-10 business days, which is much, much faster than the original shipping.
@jamesski86 I got a refund. That thing was junk.
Perfect for VD!
@TruckerD13 I don’t think earrings cure venereal disease.
@TruckerD13 @txag96 you just haven’t ingested enough silver
15mm L? What does that mean? 15mm around the hoop, which would produce a diameter around 5mm? I’m guessing not, but guesswork should not be involved.
@werehatrack It says 15 mm L(ength), not 15mm ©ircumference. No guessing required.
@Trinityscrew

ACK so ugly though. Brutal design. Like a pebble driveway.
'Tis the season for extremely ugly jewelry.

@werehatrack I’ve always been told to provide constructive feedback so let me say that I think your answer is a little wordy.
Cheap enough that when I inevitably lose one I won’t be too upset.

@jkanderson are they smaller than the dimensions listed above in the specs for this deal?
Wife loved this!!!
