Thule Backpacks
- Your choice of 3 different backpacks from the trusty Swedes at Thule
- The “Paramount 24” has a strap and roll top and is water resistant
- The “Paramount 27” is larger, has a zipper top, and is also water resistant
- The “Subterra 25” has a main compartment that opens all the way up for easy access and a removable padded compartment for fragile trinkets
- All will make your friends think you’re a serious backpack person
- Model: TSDP-115, TTDP-115, TRDP-115 (Our team of model number cryptographers believes the first “T” stands for “Thule,” the “DP” stands for “DayPack,” the “S” in the first model number stands for “Subterra,” and that the rest of it is meaningless nonsense)
I Pity The Thule
Making decisions sucks. That’s why we often sell only one thing per day — you only have to decide whether you want to buy it or not. But today we’re selling 3 different things and you’ll need to make some decisions, unfortunately. We’re so sorry. We’ll try our best to help.
First, decide whether you need a backpack. Maybe you already have one that suits all your needs. Or you’re more of a messenger-bag type. In that case your decision couldn’t be easier: Don’t buy one of these backpacks.
Otherwise, buckle up for some decision-making.
You could make your decision based on the size of the bag. The Paramount 24 holds 24 liters, the Paramount 27 holds 27, and the Subterra holds 25. But that’s not much of a difference, and unless you often think in terms of liter storage capacity, it probably doesn’t mean much to you.
You could make your decision based on what you plan to do with it. The Subterra is probably a bit better for travel, as it’s got a main compartment that opens all the way up for easy access. The Paramounts might be better for commuting since they’re extra weatherproof. But both would be fine for either activity. We’re so sorry — we can’t make this decision for you.
You could make your decision based on the price. The Subterra has the highest discount (61% off the lowest price we could find online) but the Paramount 24 has the lowest price overall. You have to decide which is more important to you. SO MANY DECISIONS!
You could make your decision based on the name. “Paramount” literally means “superior to all others,” so you’d think this would be easy, but “Subterra” means “underground,” which is pretty cool. Would you rather be the best? Or would you rather be cool? Is your brain hurting from all these decisions yet?
Finally, you could make your decision based on the EMMM Method. To begin the EMMM Method, place your finger on one of the backpacks and say “Eeny.” Then move on to the next backpack and say “Meeny.” Then onto the next, saying “Miny.” Then return to the first backpack and say “Moe.” Continue in this fashion, moving from one backpack to the next as you recite the phrase “Catch a tiger by the toe, if he hollers let him go, eeny meeny, miny moe.” Then buy the final backpack upon which your finger rests.
Or you could buy the red one because red is cool.
