It's A Monster Mehsh: A Very Haunted Meh-rathon
You find yourself in a guest bedroom. You feel suddenly tired, so so tired. Perhaps this is it how the occupant of this terrible house will get you. Perhaps in the house it is merely a shadow, but in dreams it becomes whole, massive, ready to eat you alive.
But you can’t help it. You slip off your shoes and slide into the bed.
It’s comfortable. The blanket that is pushing down on you, holding you in place. It is subduing you, making you feel hugged, making you feel immobile. You fight against it, throwing it off the bed with great effort.
You quickly get to your feet. Do you hear someone coming down the hall? You’re trapped! There is no other way out… except up.
