Spoiler alert.
I put that in the right order, right?
Eh, anyway, counting down the minutes until a certain someone gloms on and takes credit for their success. It shouldn’t be a surprise but I won’t spoil it either.
@phendrick Just commenting on the fact that at the 4 games in Houston, the Washington Nationals won all 4; and at the 3 games at the Washington field, the Houston Astros won all 3. First time that has ever happened in MLB playoff history, that the home team lost all their games; not to mention that that was beyond all expectations and probabilities.
@dhelmick56 I know I am in the minority, but I think Joe Buck is a really good play-by-play announcer.
I don’t really get the hate for him. The most common complaint I hear is “he is obviously biased for/against (certain team)”. If he announces a Yankees-Red Sox game - you will get 20,000 people railing against his “obvious” bias against the Yankees and 20,000 people moaning about his “obvious” hatred of the Red Sox. Buck is aware of this rampant criticism and his Twitter bio contains the blurb " “I love all teams EXCEPT yours”
If I have one criticism of him is that he doesn’t talk enough. Not a huge sin when the other person is someone like John Smoltz, but sometimes he leaves the color commentator to fill in more than would be ideal.
YAY!
Ha ha. I always root for the NL team. those American League wussies don’t play real baseball.
Congrats to Bryce Harper and the entire… oh… Sorry, Bryce. You suck anyway. #GoCubs.
@btwonder Hyce Barper? Mr. Moneybags??? Whatta looser, heh.
@btwonder @cbl_wv bryceless
Yawn!!!
What ever happened to “home field advantage”?
@phendrick Welcome to Washington DC in the year of The Nationals, 2019!!!
@phendrick Seems like a good night for super-sucky deals on Meh, at least. I’m going to bed! Yay, Nats! Yay, Stras!!

I’m not a Nationals fan but I’m glad they took their first world series.

Wait. I thought the Philatelists won…
Go Astros? Nats won and that’s OK. It was a great series- EXCEPT for freakin’ Joe Buck. Dear God, please get someone else for next year.
@dhelmick56 Freakin’ Joe Buck! He gets on my nerves too.

Too bad it wasn’t Joe Buck in that canoe, @mediocrebot.

I am sure at the victory parade for the Nats, Trump will show up and claim the parade was for him.
