1x Weighted Blanket
Here’s a Fun Fact for You
Weighted blankets are said to simulate deep pressure touch (DPT), a type of therapy used to help reduce anxiety and chronic stress. Some studies have shown weighted blankets effectively reduce nighttime cortisol levels (cortisol is a stress hormone, most commonly linked to your fight or flight response). However, studies have not shown whether or not weighted blankets effectively treat the empty void left in your heart by a certain spouse who cheated with a military man–on that dreary day, not long ago.
After passing on the meh offering I saw a Beautyrest weighted blanket at Costco & bought it. An add-on xmas present for the wife. I do not remember what I paid. Likely more than $29. What to do… hmmm… thinking it as I type I realize she might not like it at all. I can return the Costco one no problem… I think I shall pass. Thanks for listening.

Yes, kudos for the spooky product images today.

@riceatusc she’s just jealous of the blanket
@medz I let her borrow it for 2 nights, she didnt really like it
Snuggle ME? No, snuggle YOU!
They should market these as glass bead dispensers.
@TheCraiggers Yeah, it’s been dispensing for me just recently. Had to come here and find the name of it to buy a cover in the right size.
Picked up one of these in July when they were sold for $35. My wife has been using it pretty much every night since then. No glass leaks so far.
It recently moved to my daughter’s bed, so I’m grabbing another one here so they can each have one of their own.
@The_Tim I’m gonna pass this to someone else.
A great weight has been lifted for me.
