TALES OF THE DARK GOAT O' PENN'S WOODS, NIGHT THIRTY
7MIDNIGHT!
(Wait a minute - it’s N minus two. It’s H minus one. I got Halloween and end-of-goathood confused…)
Clark Ashton Smith
Return of the Sorcerers
Clark Ashton Smith - a man of many parts.
Sooo… I was thinking these posts might generate a little more discussion, and I’d get a few more ideas for writers. It’s not that there aren’t plenty I haven’t touched on - de Maupassant’s The Horla is a classic, I could’ve linked to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde… I just hate to repeat the old chestnuts. Having said that, how’s about another:
Howard Phillips Lovecraft
(ghost-written for # Hazel Heald

I’ve been trying comment as I can. I’ve enjoyed your posts and your goatdom has been pretty funny with the cat gifs. Wow, who knew there were cat gifs on the internet? YOU THAT’S WHO!
I haven’t read lately as much as I used to. I have bookmarked your stories and posts though to go back through and enjoy. Hang in goat! You’re almost there! We’re getting you a place down at the secret clubhouse ready for you!
@therealjrn I agree - I’ve definitely enjoyed the posts and have read some stuff I probably never would have otherwise. Was the prefect subject matter for October. But then, it requires reading and…this is Meh, so…
And your superior knowledge of the subject matter is impressive!
This has been fun. Thanks for all the horrible stories!
Lovecraft takes it to another level. Though the title is kind of a spoiler.
