Stand up for yourself without sleeping on the couch.

I have an announcement to make. I know “we” decided we were using our vacation next year to attend your nephew’s 5th-grade graduation in Indianapolis. But then I canceled all those reservations so we could go to the Frank Frazetta Museum in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

You can thank me later. We’re spending our hard-earned free time exploring the fanciful universe created by the all-time master of fantasy art, rather than watching a bunch of pimply 11-year-olds parade across a gym floor to pick up their… wait, are they even called diplomas? And since when is 5th grade something you graduate from? Is everything a graduation now? God forbid some kid leaves one building and enters another without putting a cap and gown on first.

How dare I? I’ll tell you how. Because now that we have that Pure Comfort Air Bed, I’m not afraid to get kicked out of bed. In minutes, I can be curling up on a nice, comfy, flocked-top, raised-base air bed instead of that lumpy old couch. It may even be more comfortable, since I’ll have it all to myself. Check and mate.

Hey, you don’t have to go if you don’t want to. It’ll just be me, Conan, the occasional orc or cave demon, and dozens of outrageously endowed, scantily clad Valkyrie-looking warrior seductresses. Which, I’m starting to realize, is probably all the action I’m gonna get for a long time.
