A Meh-rathon of Sweet Meh-mories

This is a sale of MinxNY Ribbed Knee-High Boot Socks. You either know what those are, or can jump in the forum to ask other people about them.

Why aren’t we giving you more info? Well, we weren’t sure what to write for the Meh-rathon so we decided to look at some past Meh write-ups for inspiration. (You can find a random one here, if you want.) Unfortunately, all that did was make us nostalgic and maybe a little teary-eyed. And then the boss was all “Where’s the write-ups, writer dude?” and we panicked and… uhh… Please enjoy this classic write-up about an entirely different product! Also, feel free to share in the forum if you find one you liked or forgot about or missed entirely.

If you’re staring at these two rolling backpacks wondering what’s the difference, we can explain. See, one of them has only one zipper at the top, whereas the other has two–one at the top, and another larger zipper that allows it to open like a duffle. Which begs the follow-up question: is that one zipper really worth five more dollars?

Surely, it doesn’t seem like it. After all, they can hold the same amount of stuff. Could having slightly easier access to your things really be worth such an upcharge??

To answer this question, we did what anyone would do: we took two identical twin brothers and separated them at birth, giving one a Smart Backpack with two zippers and the other a Smart Backpack with just the single zipper, in order to see how differently they turned out over the course of their lives. Here are their stories:

Gary
Hi, I’m Gary. At birth, I was given a Smart Backpack with two zippers, and honestly it may be the greatest gift I’ve ever received. Sure, having easier access to all my things while traveling doesn’t save much more than ten or twenty seconds at a time, but over the course of many years, it’s probably saved me hours, if not days. And I’ve used that time to pursue the many entrepreneurial ventures that have made me the millionaire standing in front of you now. In fact, a year ago, I fulfilled a lifelong dream and bought a yacht. But I’m always so busy with work that I don’t have much time to use it, and therefore I’ve had to hire someone to take care of it for me. Personally, I’ve never met the guy but he seems to do a good enough job. Anyway, I don’t like wasting a single second, so I better get back to my zen ideation chamber. Wait a minute, what did you say this was for again?

Jerry
Hi, I’m Jerry. At birth, I was given a Smart Backpack with just one zipper. While the backpack was high-quality, I often had a harder time getting to my things. My pens and notepads, for example: being small they often ended up at the very bottom of the bag. Sometimes, I couldn’t find them, which meant I couldn’t take notes. This is most likely why I struggled so often in school and in business. Plus the frustration of digging around so much grated on me. Anyway, I’ve had to resort to working as a lowly yacht caretaker. Weirdly, everyone at the dock always calls me “sir” and asks if I want to take her out on the water and says I’m so humble to be doing all this work myself. It’s very strange, but it’s a job. Speaking of which, I better get back to it. Wait a minute, what did you say this was for again?

As you can see from this very scientific test we’ve done, the bag with multiple zippers is absolutely worth the extra five dollars in the long run. They are both, however, very good bags, so if you want to risk ending up like Jerry to save some money in the short term, all the power to you!
