I’m a member but when I go to buy an item, the expediated shipping option is clicked and I cannot untick that. It’s adding $5.95 to my order. Pretty frustrating since I have a membership. What’s up with that?
I thought it was because of the Meh-Ra-Thon. I didn’t argue it because I wanted my IRK, and I did have enough time to fight that if I wanted to be successful…oh well.
@Thumperchick I am in no way impacted. But I still would enjoy the “oh shit!” report. They bring me happiness. As a coder.
That how the fuck did we not see that and let that happen moment… And then immediately fixing it. Is somehow deeply terrifying… And then satisfying. Maybe it’s just me lol.
@TrophyHusband lol I’ve approved some. It’s fascinating when they are decades old and should have NEVER worked but they did. Those have not been mine yet. Just the fresh ones lol. In general it’s just interesting how something is broke and how it’s fixed
There’s only been one time Ive had to blame someone and that was because he was doing a couple line change. And after the code review he reformatted the entire file and checked that in instead. And broke a bunch of stuff. Which is not an enjoyable oh shit!
The whoops well. That happened… Are entertaing. Cause shit happens. And we all do it.
@unksol This one’s easy - someone mistakenly put in an upgraded shipping option (that wasn’t an option for this item) and then they made that upgrade required.
Can you post a screenshot of the issue?
@jatoha yikes. Can you link me to the item you were trying to purchase?
Same issue here
Same here, too.
Hey all - this should be all fixed now.
@Thumperchick Thank you. It worked.
The UV cases did it to me as well

It’s never good but… It’s… Something
@unksol Absolutely agree. It’s rare enough that mistakes are made, and admitted to.
The OHSHIT reports provide insight on what went wrong (often cascading problems) and what steps were applied to correct the issue.
And, as a 40+ year IT veteran, a little schadenfreude / there-but-for-the-grace-of-God… moment.

We removed it and voila.
Sorry it’s not a fun, tech challenge answer.
@Thumperchick lol I just like to keep the idea of them alive. Even if it’s a “shitty” ohshit!
