We had Georgia Red all along! But now we're sold out.
It just isn’t a Meh deal until our pal jrwofuga posts in the forum “No Georgia Red… for that alone, meh.” Near as we can remember, it started the first time we sold these Bluetooth speakers in college colors, and it’s become a comfy piece of the furniture since, like an old ottoman. In a slightly non-Georgian shade of red, naturally.
Then we read a months-old story about the Arkansas Razorbacks changing their official shade of red to Pantone (PMS) 202. What was their old shade of red, back when these speakers were made? PMS 200. And as the story puts it, “Georgia also uses Pantone 200.”
That means the Arkansas Red speakers we had were actually Georgia Red all along!
Glory, glory! We kissed strangers in the street like it was V-J Day! At last jrwofuga can get his little Bluetooth speaker in a 'dawger shade of red! Bulldog Nation was set to rejoice like they hadn’t since Bob Kelly recovered that kickoff on the 1-yard line against Notre Dame on New Year’s day, 1981!
Except for one minor hitch. We’re sold out of the Arkansas Red speakers. /sadtrombone
